At points in my life I have collected comic books, other comic book related items, movie related merchandise, and diecast. This place has all that and more...! Shop smart and take your cell phone to stare and compare. I found a few items reasonably priced, but I found quite a few more that were well above what they could be purchased for online including shipping. One thing about collectibles though... Sometimes it's worth a few dollars more to have it in your hands. I've been surprised a few times when I received items that weren't as described or packaging was damaged in transit. Antiques and collectibles are a different market as a buyer... If you see something you want it's better to buy it right then if it's priced within reason. You may never find that same item again... Old Market is what Old Market is... It's geared to tourists and things are often a little high priced in areas like this. So is their rent usually... These areas attract a high volume of people and if you don't want to pay the marked price...someone who comes in right behind you just might. Some of the items here are a little dusty, but I guess that's to be expected with that many surfaces. Pretty hard to stay on top of all of it... The Imaginarium Old Market Mercantile is defintely worth the stop if you are into collectibles and/or nostalgia!

I had medication in my purse due to a recent surgery and they bombarded me asking to hold it and I said no. They then kept coming up to me until I put my purse back in my car which made me super uncomfortable. Service was poor and the prices here keep going up. Although the space is big, they have so much that the aisles are pretty tight. My only complaint is that there is only one dressing room for the whole store, so you can expect to wait in line for this. I do appreciate that they have a bathroom on site and available to the public. The cashiers were very nice and personable--they are always friendly, no matter what location I go to! I was on the hunt for some Washington Redskins gear, but unable to find any - sad face. But there is so much more than just sports gear. Theres hats, denim, sweaters and jerseys. My fiancé heard great things about it, so we had to check it out. I'm so glad that we did! I love to see recycled vintage clothing stores with fair pricing. Shopping second hand is my favorite way to buy clothes and how I find my most unique pieces that I adore so much. We were welcomed right as we came in and were surrounded by vintage clothing as well as posters on the walls. I enjoyed just looking around the store on the walls. The employee working was very kind and helpful. They provided my fiancé with a card where if you make a purchase ten times then you receive 25% off! There were also changing rooms available! If you're in the Old Market, you should definitely stop in!
