I used to love this place. Over the past year their prices doubled, skyrocketing in the past 6 months. They now have bigger "vintage" sections full of overpriced walmart tees and clothing that's no older than 10 years old. Shoe and bag prices have doubled in the past few months, the only pair of sneakers in good condition I saw recently was 20 dollars!! They now split up curtain sets, dishware, and home decor pieces so you have to buy all of them separately. The men's section is 60% more expensive than the women's. This is shameful and greedy. I no longer donate here because i have seen some of the items i dropped off priced for more than i bought them for. I'm not sure if it's new management or if this business forgot that they were a thrift store in a low income community, but this is very disappointing. read more

I love coming to shop here for my winter clothes. They always have good random pieces. Also, they do have a big selection when it comes to women. The only con, in my opinion, is their pricing. It has gone up tremendously. read more

Haven't been here in months. They have more clothes and less of everything else they use to carry. I asked why they renovated and they said I'm order to bring more stuff. Negative, a lot less, no more color tags specials, and plastic bags will cost you 10¢ if you want your items in a bag. The prices went up. read more

I thrift here pretty often and it's a good thrift, but the prices are getting higher and higher. The men's clothes are way more expensive than the women's, so be cautious of that. All in all, that do have really good items on occasion and are better than most thrifts. Many other good nooks and crannies there too. I also saw that they JUST recently put a "now hiring" sign up and when I asked the manager, she said, "i'll go grab an application for you." and then 5 minutes later calls an associate to tell me they're not hiring. MEANWHILE I had to leave the store with this HUGE "now hiring" sign sitting at the front. And it's not just a taped up poster. It's on an easel and has all the benefits to the job listed. if you're black don't go here they WILL follow you like you're stealing. I was looking at the cd section and this Hispanic man lingered but when I checked out he was just standing by the front door so I know he works there. he didn't follow anyone else. read more

Good service, and I like how they are open till 8pm lets me go thrift after work, one thing I didn't like was that they don't bring out big jackets or coats until the fall season read more

Visited here my first time today. The selection of clothes is good, some new stuff mixed in. The other stuff was kind sketchy when I visited. The people were friendly and helpful. The clothes are fairly organized by size and I always like that. It makes shopping so much more productive. read more

This store has long been a favorite, but I have to say that on my most recent trip I was disappointed. I was looking for reasonably-priced tees for a service project, and scored a few good deals. I always look at the dishes and housewares to see if I can find any that match what I own, and was surprised that there wasn't as much offered as in past visits - but maybe the pandemic resulted in fewer donations. What annoyed me this visit was that they only had one cashier even though the line stretched halfway down the aisle. One customer wanted to look at something in the locked jewelry case, and another employee came up to help her, but didn't open a second register, instead just walked away. The single cashier called over the PA for someone to open another register, but no one responded. When I finally got to the counter and expressed my surprise at only one lane being opened in spite of 8-10 customers in line, the clerk told me that was a common occurrence and was very frustrating to her. Boo. This was the worst stocked Thrift Town I've ever been to. Not much cool stuff around here. As clueless as it sounds my friends and I were hoping to find things like bolo ties, cowboy shirts/hats/boots, and other "Texan" things. Walked in at 6:48 in a hurry looking for one item. Understanding that they close soon. Rude employee there starts yelling as soon as I walk-in that they are closed and to hurry up. Acknowledged her and proceeded. An additional Employee then yells across the store at us at 6:50 that they are closed and will not check you out once it hits 7pm. Disrespectful, rude and demeaning. We left and was told we don't have to spend any money in there. I left without purchasing anything. Will never go back and wouldn't dare spend any money there or have my family or friends do so. read more

Where was this gem of a store hiding? The place is so big and they have so much stuff! I've never seen so many clothes in my life and you can pretty much find anything you want. There's a lot of great finds in the kitchen area too, I've bought a ton of stuff from their plates and silverware area. Not so many books but anything else is plentiful. I loved this place, been here twice, and both times I found designer clothing for under $5. (Steve Madden shoes and a Gucci skirt) it takes some hunting, but all in all I found some good finds. They have tag color deals each week, and they have a frequent shopper's punch card. As with any thrift store some items may have stains or be over-priced at times, but if you look hard enough, you'll find the deals. Happy hunting! read more

This store is clean and organized, and has some nice clothes/shoes. My only problem with Thrift town is that some of the merchandise is overpriced.There was a pair of shoes from Wal-Mart for $6, and a shirt with threads coming out of it was $10. However, I did find a few awesome dresses that were pretty cheap, only they weren't my size. They did have a some good items there, and it's probably a good place to go if your 'scared' of normal thrift stores. read more

I typically love this chain of thrift stores but this one needs to be closed. Very lean section and I still feel slighted by the cashier who seemed to want to be annoying by not paying attention and lucky the manager came from break right before I walked out. I don't like disrespect and lack of focus. We all have desires to work in certain places and if you dislike certain types then move to a area where only your desired ppl are. read more

Recently this store has gone down in inventory quality (items one would put out on trash day) and up in prices. Examples are used dollar store items for $2.99 and over; still overpriced with the color of the day 50% discount. read more

I have been going to both Thrift Town stores on Abram (Arlington TX) and Westmoreland (Dallas TX) for the past eight years, donating and purchasing. The Abram store has since closed. Last week, I went to the store on Westmoreland - the prices were so high. A couple of examples are a 'used' no-name shirt priced at $15.99 and a Dollar Tree candle stick holder $2.99. I cannot afford this stores inflated prices. I asked the cashier why the prices had increased so much, she didn't know and said other customers are complaining too. I for one will not be donating or purchasing there again ~ pity. read more

I like this store, even when I don't find lots to buy. It's clean and bright and organized, so It's easy to look for and find stuff. They usually have an adequate number of cashiers, so check out lines are not too long. Overall a really good store that represents it's brand well. read more
