The customer service was impeccable, and the selection was vast and had things for different seasons and styles. I was able to try on a few things and ended up buying two dresses. I love supporting local shops and I feel like the dresses I got were well priced in high-quality. The clerk of the store had to explain to me some of the price points because there was one hat that I absolutely loved, but I could not spend more on a hat that said farmers market, then a full dress. The funny thing is when I got home I I told my friend that I went to downtown the land and she said "oh you really should have went to Shellsea, It's a great place and you would've loved it." We stumbled upon this home mercantile shop on a Saturday while exploring the area, and I'm so glad we did. They have a shabby chic/vintage vibe with some really unique pieces that have a more modern feel. They have some large furniture pieces, rugs & textiles, and curated antiques throughout the store. We got a few home accents/knick knacky things to decorate our home office and bookshelf. They also have some great faux plants/greens that are perfect if you're a plant killer like me. I was really crushing on all their kitchen tools -- brass honey dippers, cute measuring cups, cutting & charcuterie boards, stoneware, hand carved wood bowls, marble pinch pots for herbs & seasonings... the list goes on. I'm not much of a cook but this shop made me wish I was, haha. I also ended up getting a comfy dress and some earrings (they have a great gold jewelry selection), and I've already worn it twice (instant closet staple). I just discovered that they also have an online store, so now I can shop there anytime since I'm not in that area too often (YAY!). The gal working there, Lucy, was so friendly and so helpful. I really appreciate the excellent service. I was not really shopping for anything in particular but I found some jewelry that I liked and the price was reasonable for those. I also found a couple of dresses that I liked and one of them was an extra large and I knew I could not wear that but she said try them on in vintage you just never know how they're going to fit. So the extra large I could not even zip! The size 12 dress fit perfect so Lucy's advice to try everything on was spot on. I ended up purchasing the dress that I could wear and I was so sorry that I did not try on the red and white shoes. Next trip down to Florida I will certainly check this little shop out again!

The prices are great; the selection of fantastic - great for the collector, or the casual browser! We had a great time. Staff is friendly and informative and the store is shiny and brand new! Most of the items are in excellent condition, although there is a plethora of VHS tapes, which I don't think are very marketable. I am sure Betty and Sue will adjust their inventory as they see what is selling and what isn't. Our daughter made a very small donation to help anyone that wanted an item but didn't have enough cash; she's a good kid.

I bought my original first pair of sketchers from Michigan. A store called mijers for $25. I've had these issues for two months. They're great shoes and I really enjoyed them. I wanted to try a few other pair however I'm very picky about my shoes. I don't like them touching my feet which is a whole thing. I tried on about five pairs of different shoes and I walked around the store. The lady told me I was fine not to worry about it. It's better to test them out now because you can't return however, a man on the other side of the store told me I don't need to be wearing the shoes so much that it's OK to try them on but I need to buy them if I'm gonna walk around in them and I told him I'm trying like eight different pairs of shoes and I'm just walking around to make sure I like them because each pair of shoes is over $100 So the comment from the one member really turned me off if I did not Badly need another pair of shoes I would've left with out buying . So my reading is not necessarily on the store of the convenience itself. It's more on the employee that one employee so I will not be returning back to the Skechers warehouse outlet and I will continue to buy my shoes elsewhere.
