This store brings back memories of the fun times I had in Woodstock, NY, and at the Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, hidden in the Catskill mountains. This store has such a good vibe and a ton of affordable items to choose from. Some of the items you will find include colorful art pieces, tie-dye tees, religious sculptures, dream catchers, handmade clothing, one-of-a-kind ornaments and wind chimes, handmade flutes and other instruments, singing bowls made from bronze and crystal in multiple sizes, a multitude of incents and scented oil varieties, handmade rugs and furniture throw covers, lockable hemp diary's, hand-made purses, a ton of unique handmade jewelry, and more. While shopping I was trying to encourage a bronze singing bowl to sing for me, but couldn't get it going. The store owner graciously walked me through it; ahhhh, that's how it's done, now I remember. She was sweet enough to bring out her large crystal bowl, so I could make it sing; it was amazing! This bowl rang so loud I thought the glass jewelry cases would shatter, but didn't, awesome! My mom and I picked out a couple small gifts, and incents before leaving. I love how this store brings out the kid in me. When you're in DeLand you must come here even if you're not a hippie. This place is one of the most colorful businesses on the block. It's an explosion of color and happiness everywhere you turn. Lots of cool bohemian clothes hats and jewelry. Lots of knick knacks and wind chimes. Every time I come here they are always very friendly and pleasant and show us the new things that they have to offer. I have bought a few pieces over the last few years and I just love them. Everything is good quality. Come get you some Bohemian style vibes! read more

We loved our evening stroll through adorable, historic downtown DeLand - and our visit to Orchid Rain was a definite highlight. This is hippie/Bohemian heaven with everything you need for that perfect festival, Halloween or vintage-themed party look. They have a little of everything here: clothes, jewelry, gifts, decor and more. Come for a photo opp with their epically decked-out VW bug. Stay for the awesome vibes! Owner was friendly and kind. Adorable little hippie shop in downtown DeLand. There is even a cool soap working shop in the back. There were so many cool things from clothing and accessories to home decor and even a full sized WV Beatle inside! I didn't purchase anything, so I didn't engage with the employees or owners, but I will definitely be back to make purchases in the future! read more

I love this boutique!!! Everything here is so unique. The style is definitely hippy/ bohemian but they have something for everyone! The owner gets a lot of her home decor and jewelry from local vendors. She also carries some more known brands. Everything is fairly priced. Take a quick trip to the Deland and found this cute little shop that no one seems to know about. I talked with the owner and seems that they just opened about 4 months ago. The place has a hipster feel to it. There are cute shirts, dresses, jewelry and little pieces of magic everywhere. read more

Love the eclecticness. Looks great. Smells great! Carry on. Prices...meh! But u get what you pay for

Today was pride in DeLand so we decided to walk around and check out this cute store that caught our eye. It was going well, my wife bought pride pants, and we had good conversation with the associate Mark until it got super uncomfortable. While we were checking out, we were talking about drag queens and he stated how they were "fake" and not anything like the real female impersonators that paved the way. All while missing the point of how drag is not only art but a community of acceptance in the gay community. Sexuality is fluid. They don't have to be women. He missed the point entirely. I then spoke up and explained that with myself being non-binary I identify with sometimes feeling more male or female some days with no limitations so there aren't any "rules" to how you identify. He then started raising his voice and said "I can't even begin to know what that even means! Non-binary like what?" I was shocked at the blantant ugliness of that comment of a store that has love is love on its door. He continues to say "Why do you need a label?? You're so young. You don't get it. People like you mess it up for what we've fought for in the past with these labels. You've had it so easy. You've never had to deal with what I've had to." This was so disrespectful. I label myself because I want to. I haven't had it easy at all. I was homeless and shunned from my hugely catholic family. He spoke from his own ignorance and devalued everything I am as a person. This doesn't harm you Mark in any way. You're closemindedness debilitates you tremendously. I then proceed to attempt to say "everyone in the gay community needs to be protected." He snarkingly says "what community?!" ......So my question is what community were you referring to when you said "what we've fought for in the past." Such a shame. Other customers were in here when he went off projecting his outlandish views. My wife and I rushed to get out of there and will never go in here again. Everyone we talk to will know to stay away from this store because they don't support and want to be accepting of everyone in the gay community. Well Mark and his views specifically. Shocked this happened on pride of all days. There are no set rules of what being gay looks like. Clothing has no gender. You can have hair on your chest and still be a women or a man or be a they! Everyone is accepted and protected in our community as proud lgbtq individuals. If you don't want to be apart of it then don't. That's up to you. Still doesn't harm anyone. No need to get bent over it if someone doesn't agree with you. Especially if you're trying to sell all the overpriced items in your store or tell us about certain crystals that you couldnt pronounce the name properly. ‍ read more
