I picked out a brand new unused roasting pan that I actually used to cook my Turkey this Thanksgiving. The lady working the register was very nice and helpful. She informed me the roasting pan I purchased was previously her mother's, so she was glad it was going to a good home. The store is very clean and organized. I will definitely come back again next time I am in in the area.

My wife found some pretty sun flower earrings that came in a nice holiday gift bag, where I found a shaped-metal ornament in the image of the iconic toy soldiers they have plopped in just about every corner of Downtown Deland. The lady working there was super pleasant and welcoming, and I will definitely keep this place in mind on a future visit.

My boyfriend has a service dog who we were not able to get the vest for yet, and it's not like the dog legally needs to have the vest for it to be a service dog, I walked around and had a few items in my hand that I was excited about and my boyfriend and his service dog were walking around, minding our business, and a woman comes up to my boyfriend and asks him to leave because they don't allow dogs in the store. He explained to her that she's a service dog and then another lady came up and said "the dog has no vest or anything that says it's a service dog so if an accident were to happen, blah blah blah".. the service dog has a square head like a pit-bull so I'm assuming she meant that the dog would attack someone??? This is the kind of thing that people with service dogs have to go through all the time. I dropped everything I had planned to buy and walked out. I will not be supporting any kind of brand that will harass or embarrass their customers. Horrible place.

This store has such a good vibe and a ton of affordable items to choose from. Some of the items you will find include colorful art pieces, tie-dye tees, religious sculptures, dream catchers, handmade clothing, one-of-a-kind ornaments and wind chimes, handmade flutes and other instruments, singing bowls made from bronze and crystal in multiple sizes, a multitude of incents and scented oil varieties, handmade rugs and furniture throw covers, lockable hemp diary's, hand-made purses, a ton of unique handmade jewelry, and more. While shopping I was trying to encourage a bronze singing bowl to sing for me, but couldn't get it going. The store owner graciously walked me through it; ahhhh, that's how it's done, now I remember. She was sweet enough to bring out her large crystal bowl, so I could make it sing; it was amazing! This bowl rang so loud I thought the glass jewelry cases would shatter, but didn't, awesome! We stumbled upon this home mercantile shop on a Saturday while exploring the area, and I'm so glad we did. They have a shabby chic/vintage vibe with some really unique pieces that have a more modern feel. They have some large furniture pieces, rugs & textiles, and curated antiques throughout the store. We got a few home accents/knick knacky things to decorate our home office and bookshelf. They also have some great faux plants/greens that are perfect if you're a plant killer like me. I was really crushing on all their kitchen tools -- brass honey dippers, cute measuring cups, cutting & charcuterie boards, stoneware, hand carved wood bowls, marble pinch pots for herbs & seasonings... the list goes on. I'm not much of a cook but this shop made me wish I was, haha. I also ended up getting a comfy dress and some earrings (they have a great gold jewelry selection), and I've already worn it twice (instant closet staple). I just discovered that they also have an online store, so now I can shop there anytime since I'm not in that area too often (YAY!).
