Finally, in the process of making my house a home and I was able to score a few pieces from here…read more Charles was very very helpful. I came in here on Presidents' Day, hoping to score some deals since the mail provided lots of flyers were different deals from different furniture stores this so happen to be my first location and stop and I so happen to score a few deals. I was able to purchase a dining room table and a couch for a reasonable price. The deals were definitely dealing this day and I think I scored a decent deal. I wish they would've worked it down to a little bit less, but I settled and still took the furniture anyways. See below and attached for a few photos of the store and the deals that they had going on on Presidents' Day and to see what I copped.

I am sharing this experience as a matter of consumer safety and transparency for anyone considering…read morea significant investment at Georgia Furniture Mart. My current sofa has suffered a complete structural collapse where the main wooden load-bearing rail has detached from the frame, causing the furniture to sink to the floor and requiring a stack of magazines to prevent a total cave-in. This is not an isolated incident of wear and tear, but a recurring manufacturing defect; this specific unit was actually a 2021 replacement for a previous unit that failed due to the exact same frame issues documented in their own technician's notes. The most concerning aspect of this experience is the company's response to a loyal, multi-year customer facing a safety hazard. When I reached out to their service department, I did not ask for a free replacement or a handout; I explicitly requested to pay for a professional repair to be done by their team. Georgia Furniture Mart flatly refused to even send a technician for a fee, stating that because the item is out of its one-year labor window, they will not service it under any circumstances. It is a significant red flag when a retailer sells large-scale furniture that fails structurally in under five years and then refuses to provide any path toward a paid repair or maintenance. For potential shoppers, please be aware that Georgia Furniture Mart's commitment to your purchase appears to end exactly at the 12-month mark, regardless of the severity of the product's failure. While they market "life-improving" furniture, my experience has been one of repeated structural defects and a total lack of corporate accountability. If you expect your furniture to last a reasonable length of time or hope for a company that stands by its craftsmanship through paid service options, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. A sofa frame should not be propped up by books in less than five years, and a reputable business should not abandon its customers when their products fail.
