They commissioned a Savannah native, an artist who goes by the name of JuLu (you've probably seen her work before all around town) to paint the body of the bar. When you see her work, you know it's her. There is a striking red espresso machine, floating shelves on the wall behind the coffee bar, and the furniture, simple and classic. Their cream and sugar station is super cool too. Has the look of old deposit boxes or those library index card system things. I don't know if the drawers actually open, but really neat looking. In terms of seating, for now, there are 2 chairs with a coffee table in one corner and a large dining table to seat larger groups that occupies most of the space. Management informed me that they were getting a counter top that they will be installing in the near future for the back wall for people flying solo. Definitely their most popular items anyway. They also use Perc Coffee and they have a small showcase of baked goods from their bakery, Henny Penny, for all of their locations. They had a limited selection today of muffins and kolaches, about 2 flavors of each. It is opening day, so I'm sure the quantities and variety will change as the amount of traffic increases. Matcha Latte - I don't know why I haven't ever had this before at any of their locations, but this is definitely my new favorite! I ordered it with whole milk and it came with a pretty milk foam art design on top. Matcha can be pretty bitter, but it was just the right amount. Zucchini Muffin - It is no secret that I love the stuff that Henny Penny Cafe dishes out (can I get an Amen on their vegan donuts?!). I just love how wholesome all of their items taste, like a recipe your mom would make. I loved how dense this muffin was and it was delicious. I devoured it in the car as I drove back home. I was so excited to give it a try when I confirmed it was related to the original Coffee Fox. This location quickly became my favorite place to grab coffee. The staff here are phenomenal. They are friendly and really take pride in their work. The coffee is always wonderful. I usually get my go to Horchata Latte. I love it hot and I love it iced so that just depends on the weather.
