Lunch with a friend! Delicious quiche & fabulous latte! I always stop by when in the 'boro!

On a trip to Statesboro before my daughter started at GSU, we did a taste of the town. This was our second stop. Now I am a coffee drinker to the point of experiencing murderous rage if I don't get my coffee. Yet on this day, I was dying from the Georgia heat that was zapping me worse than in Florida, so we got Italian sodas with a splash of cream. Hot dog, if that wasn't a delightfully refreshing drink! It was like black raspberry fairies blew kisses in my cup. We grabbed a donut and blueberry colache for dessert later and they surpassed the SUPER YUM status bar! This place is not only ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, but it is socially responsible! Why not give back when you get your buzz on?

Such a cute shop and such nice customer service. I got a chai with oat milk and my boyfriend got a cold brew. Delicious! We'll return for sure.

For a small city out in the country, Statesboro is fortunate to have a cafe as sophisticated as Three Tree Coffee Roasters in town. I'm no coffee connoisseur, but it doesn't take one to recognize this place is legit. Three Tree got its name from its three mission objectives: 1. Empowering farmers through the sale of fair trade coffee and other means. 2. Ending human trafficking through partnerships with organizations bringing awareness and raising funds. 3. Engaging the community by donating to local non-profits and operating this coffee shop just south of downtown Statesboro. The drink menu is simple and affordable with no espresso or coffee-based drink costing more than $3.99 each. It's less expensive and higher quality than Starbucks. Drinks come in two sizes: 12 oz and 16 oz. The coffees are single-origin, specialty, and gourmet. In addition to prepared drinks at the cafe, you can also buy or order bags in various grinds (whole bean or ground for a coffee pot, French press, or manual drip) to take home. Their roasts run from light to dark and hail from countries such as Burundi, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Peru (decaf). Along with this cafe, you can find Three Tree Coffee at the Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market, Food World, and online at their website: https://threetreecoffee.com/. The cafe offers unique coffees like manual pour over, cold brew, Yama drip (looks like a science experiment), AeroPress, French press, and nitro coffee. In addition, they serve loose leaf teas, Italian soda, milkshakes, chai, hot chocolate, smoothies, and light fare like soups, sandwiches, hummus, chips, and fruit. Lunch is served 11am to 2pm and costs no more than $6 per item. As soon as I saw the pecan pie latte ($3.89) on their suggested menu, I knew I had to get it. I love pecan pie and lattes so this seemed like a pretty magical combination (and it was). It tasted exactly how it sounds -- sweet and nutty pecan pie with a hint of cinnamon and maple-flavored syrup. The drink was so good; smooth, somewhat rich, creamy, and a little bit fluffy. If you like pecan pie, I recommend it. I also tried an iced cold brew coffee made with Irish cream and soy milk ($3). It was also really good; nice and smooth and not acidic. My girlfriend, who is a Statesboro native and appreciates good coffee, thinks that a lot of coffee roasters' small batch coffee is too acidic these days, but not this one. The space where Three Tree currently resides used to be a cafe/diner called Mr. Omelette. Before that, it was Midtown Coffee House. The space is naturally well lit and in good condition. It's popular with students who like to bring their books and laptops to study. There's a breezy, partially covered patio and a cute upstairs area called the "treehouse." The treehouse accommodates 20-30 people and can be rented out for small events for $30/hour. Service is terrific. The baristas are cool and friendly. If you're ever in Statesboro, this cafe is not to be missed.

Pretty good place for coffee if only the baristas were just little bit more friendly I might come more often.

Street parking only. It reminded me of NODA. Artsy and laid back. There were several small tables and a couple bar height table seating. Free wifi. Popular spot, constant stream of people in and out. They are also dog friendly, if thats not your vibe this wouldn't be the place for you. Walked in and was immediately greeted by a smiling and friendly lady who took our order. I ordered the Lox bagle. It was the best Lox I've ever had. I also ordered the hot Chai. It was just ok. My husband ordered the manual brewed Columbian coffe, it was amazing, we tasted all of the flavors brewed. Its a must try if you like manuely brewed coffee. We also ordered the cinnamon bun which my husband said was really good as well. If im ever in the area again I would stop in and I do recommend if your looking for a quaint coffee spot in Savannah.

Whether it's a traditional espresso drink or one of their seasonal specials, the quality, attention to detail, and consistency are outstanding. This is one of those rare places where you can immediately tell the people behind the counter genuinely care about coffee and take pride in every drink they serve. As someone who spends an unhealthy amount of time exploring coffee shops, I don't hand out 5-star reviews lightly. Origin earns it because they consistently deliver exceptional coffee. If your primary goal is finding the best cup of coffee in Savannah, this is where I would send you first. A quick note: If you're looking for a place to camp out with a laptop for six hours and work all day, this isn't personally my first choice. That's not a criticism of Origin; it's simply a matter of preference.

I was running around in the historic district and decided to pop in to The Coffee Fox - Louisville (TCFL) for a pick-me-up and snack and checked it out on their opening day! - Parking - Private lot. - Vibe - It is smaller than their first location, but the space is beautiful and bright. The focal point of the space is the coffee bar and it is stunning. They commissioned a Savannah native, an artist who goes by the name of JuLu (you've probably seen her work before all around town) to paint the body of the bar. When you see her work, you know it's her. There is a striking red espresso machine, floating shelves on the wall behind the coffee bar, and the furniture, simple and classic. Their cream and sugar station is super cool too. Has the look of old deposit boxes or those library index card system things. I don't know if the drawers actually open, but really neat looking. In terms of seating, for now, there are 2 chairs with a coffee table in one corner and a large dining table to seat larger groups that occupies most of the space. Management informed me that they were getting a counter top that they will be installing in the near future for the back wall for people flying solo. I have a feeling that this location will become one of those secret spots, locals only type places to escape the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas and especially a quiet place to get your work done! - TLC - Management was really nice and excited to finally be open. I was the only customer in at the time, so service was quick, efficient and super friendly. - Eats / Refreshments - From what I can see, all the things I have ordered in the past at all of their sister locations (original The Coffee Fox, Foxy Loxy, Henny Penny, Fox & Fig) are all on the menu at this location. Definitely their most popular items anyway. They also use Perc Coffee and they have a small showcase of baked goods from their bakery, Henny Penny, for all of their locations. They had a limited selection today of muffins and kolaches, about 2 flavors of each. It is opening day, so I'm sure the quantities and variety will change as the amount of traffic increases. Matcha Latte - I don't know why I haven't ever had this before at any of their locations, but this is definitely my new favorite! I ordered it with whole milk and it came with a pretty milk foam art design on top. Matcha can be pretty bitter, but it was just the right amount. Zucchini Muffin - It is no secret that I love the stuff that Henny Penny Cafe dishes out (can I get an Amen on their vegan donuts?!). I just love how wholesome all of their items taste, like a recipe your mom would make. I loved how dense this muffin was and it was delicious. I devoured it in the car as I drove back home. Definitely off the beaten path, but worth seeking for quality and consistency of product you get at any of the Foxy locations and especially if you want to get away from the traffic in the historic district. Hurry and check it out, before the word gets out!
