Muffins are soft and delicious, not too sweet, appreciate that smoothies are available at this coffee and tea place and the service was quick. Like that they serve Might Leaf loose leaf teas too.

Love this local & free standing drive thru coffee shop. Menu is phenomenal with great descriptions of choices. I honestly get overwhelmed at coffee names and I like having it all in front of me to decide. Staff are helpful and friendly. Would love to see this franchise come to the Raleigh area!

I've came here since they first opened and I've always had great experiences! The staff there are always so friendly and knowledgeable. They always give me great recommendations. I would highly recommend you trying it out here if you haven't already done so.

I give Ellianos Coffee Company three stars. It's fine. This is a double-sided drive-thru coffee shop inspired by the drive-thru coffee shops of the Pacific Northwest. It's part of a regional chain with locations primarily in southern Georgia and northern Florida, mostly in small cities like Statesboro. An Ellianos opened where I live in Atlanta, in 2011, but it didn't last long. This one in Statesboro opened in 2012. You can find this small coffee shop in the parking lot of the Gentilly Square Shopping Center, next to Firehouse Subs, not far from Statesboro Mall and Walmart. The shopping center, which has a huge parking lot, is barren. There's no indoor seating, but there is outdoor seating in a small, fenced-in area in front of the store facing the road. There are a few round tables (two with umbrellas) and a picnic table. The patio has some plants and the fence is decorated with string lighting. The building itself looks nice from the outside with a part-stone facade, faux columns, and covered drive-thru windows. Most of Ellianos' drinks come in small, medium, and large sizes. The standard menu features eight espresso-based drinks (from $1.75 for a small espresso shot to $4.85 for a large white mocha or Carmella), standard coffees like a house brew, iced coffee, or cold brew ($1.90-3.70 each), latte "freezers" in almost a dozen different flavors (e.g. white mocha, vanilla, cookies & cream, and spiced chai; $3.85-5.25), smoothies ($3.85-6.15), and other beverages like hot chocolate, caramel apple cider, and "gourmet" tea ($2.00-4.50). The special menu includes signature creations like Tuscany toffee (toffee latte drizzled with caramel sauce) and Milan mint mocha (peppermint and dark chocolate) along with seasonal items. When we visited, these included pecan pie latte and creme de menthe (mint) mocha. Yum. Along with drinks, there's a limited food selection consisting of stuff like cookies ($2.50 each), muffins (three flavors; $2.45 each), breakfast croissants/bagels (three kinds, $3.85 each), and chocolate-covered espresso beans by the pound ($5 for 1/4 pound to $20 for 1 pound). We ordered two small iced Carmellas ($3.85 each) and a small Americano ($2.25) and they were OK. The Carmella is a vanilla and caramel-flavored latte. It was rich, very sweet, and had good caramel flavor. If I ordered it again, I would probably ask them to lighten up on the sugar/syrup. The Americano was standard. It was hot and tasty enough. Compared to the other cafes I've tried in Statesboro (Starbucks outside of Statesboro Mall and Three Tree Coffee Roasters), Ellianos' coffee has been the least impressive to me in terms of taste and quality. Don't get me wrong though - this place isn't bad; I've just had better experiences at the other places. The double-sided drive-thru is definitely convenient and a plus. We sat on the patio and our drinks were brought out to us. The patio was clean. We enjoyed sitting there; however, we also had to occasionally breathe in exhaust from the cars in line at the drive-thru. That wasn't fun. Service was great. The barista who took our order and brought our drinks out to us was friendly.

The plastic I found in my mouth

I usually love going there, but today was not so great. I went and got a small white mocha freezer and headed home. I got about 20 minutes away when I felt two little pieces of clear plastic in my mouth. I had drank about 1/5th of the drink at this point but I looked on the outside of the drink and didn't see anything. I stopped drinking it anyways just in case there was more and boy was there! I got home which is about 40 minutes away and started draining it and the more I drained the more concerned I got. Now I'm concerned about how much plastic and rubber?? I accidentally drank just thinking it was the ice. I called and they offered to remake it but I'm not driving back 40 minutes for a small coffee. I just wanted my $5 back and maybe for them to look at their machines because has to be messed up with this amount of plastic. Probably won't be back after this

I've been here a handful of times and they have always been amazing. Today my fiancé and I went through bought two coffees and two sandwiches for 16$ we left a $1 tip just because. We received our drinks and the lady forgot that I said no whip cream. My fiancé asked if I wanted to say anything I said no it's fine. I really am not the type to be fussy but we paid $3.99 a piece for our sandwiches and they were both like the picture. They were so burnt that mine and his was hard and crumbling. I will not be back for a little while. I hate this because I am always a big advocate for local business. But who can afford to spend $16 on breakfast that you can't eat. My only reason for posting is so the owner can know. I don't know him personally but I know when I managed a store you don't always know what's going on when you're not there and I'm sure by the quality I've had before he wouldn't be okay with these results in the picture.

You'll be in line for 30-45mins. Not sure what takes so long which is disappointing because their coffee is good but my goodness!

It feels like your grandma's living room with mismatched antique furniture and wallpaper on the walls. The people who run the counter are extremely friendly and will very quickly learn your name and your favorite drink. Now what to order here: if you are coming for coffee their signature is their flavored iced coffees in a MEGA cup. You literally cannot order a cup smalller than a mega because you WILL regret it. Mark my words! The iced coffee flavors change daily and seasonly and are sweet and filled with cream. If it is too sugary for you real coffee drinkers tend to go half black and half flavor but I opt for full flavor and cream every time! Oops!! You can even purchase the beans ground or whole for a reasonable price. The flavors today were white chocolate raspberry, sugar cookie, and highlander grogg. Unique flavors for sure but I haven't tasted a bad one yet and I am quite a regular here. Now let me tell you about their cook... she is amazing! Whether it is her grits bowl for breakfast or my personal favorite the pimento cheese sandwich for lunch she does not disappoint. Everything is homemade in their little kitchen with love. Seriously this is the most charming unique place in Statesboro! I will travel back just for a cup of their coffee.

On the afternoon I stopped in there was only 1 other person in the shop so our order was taken right away and made very quickly. My drink was delicious, but I often find that businesses post these great pictures to get you in and when you request said item it doesn't meet the same presentation as illustrated. I ordered what I believe was a Smores latte that had marshmallow, whipped cream and cookies on top. Well my latte didn't have any of the added toppings. I mean this is what bought me in and why I don't mind paying as much as I do because what is being advertised. It really comes off as false advertisement when you don't receive the same item being presented. And if it's a situation of the items not being available, the customer should have the option to decide if they would prefer something else instead. In this case, I was not told it wasn't available; I was just presented with the item once completed.

The store looks relatively new, perhaps built within the last five years. It's nice and clean with indoor and outdoor seating, a drive-thru, and a friendly staff. The store is stocked with daily papers (e.g. The New York Times) and various products and merchandise like Starbucks bagged coffee and tea and the Verismo brewer and pods. In addition to coffee, tea, and other drinks, the store serves light food such as breads, pastries, and oven-warmed items. There's plenty of seating on the patio which has two large umbrellas. Inside, there's a variety of seating including cushioned banquettes, various sized tables, and an outward-facing window counter. We stopped by this Starbucks on a visit to the mall and the first thing I saw when I entered the cafe was a giant ad for Starbucks' new iced cinnamon almond milk macchiato. I got one and it was delicious. It's "horchata-inspired" and made with Starbucks' espresso roast, cinnamon dolce syrup, and caramel drizzle. When served, the ingredients were separated. Mix as you please. It looked good and milky. Needless to say, it was a sweet drink and quite tasty and refreshing as well. I liked it and would order it again. The staff was nice. I'd come back.
