HARD PASS A. The staff here were so loud I had to step outside to make a phone call. REALLY? B. Started to order a snack and coffee. Told the cashier/barrista there was a fly in the food case.....I figured they didn't realize it and that it was accidentally trapped inside the food case Her immediate response..." we can't do anything about the fries . The 3 stars are for my drink. No problems there. But like Dennis below I wish they would moderate the music. When the tables are of full people you can easily observe meeting to talk to work have a heart and lower the music. We "work from home" types want a change of scenery sometimes and just need a calm, pleasant atmosphere...not screaming rock, country or pop in the background. We love the classics too, just not at a billion decibels the entire time we're there. I'm sure people who came to meet over a cup of coffee also don't want to yell at each other. I had to meet with an elderly, very soft spoken gentleman the other day. I missed at least a third of what he was was saying. This Starbucks is located in front of Statesboro Mall (actually, I believe it's technically a part of the mall) in its own standalone building. The store looks relatively new, perhaps built within the last five years. It's nice and clean with indoor and outdoor seating, a drive-thru, and a friendly staff. The store is stocked with daily papers (e.g. The New York Times) and various products and merchandise like Starbucks bagged coffee and tea and the Verismo brewer and pods. In addition to coffee, tea, and other drinks, the store serves light food such as breads, pastries, and oven-warmed items. There's plenty of seating on the patio which has two large umbrellas. Inside, there's a variety of seating including cushioned banquettes, various sized tables, and an outward-facing window counter. We stopped by this Starbucks on a visit to the mall and the first thing I saw when I entered the cafe was a giant ad for Starbucks' new iced cinnamon almond milk macchiato. I got one and it was delicious. It's "horchata-inspired" and made with Starbucks' espresso roast, cinnamon dolce syrup, and caramel drizzle. When served, the ingredients were separated. Mix as you please. It looked good and milky. Needless to say, it was a sweet drink and quite tasty and refreshing as well. I liked it and would order it again. The staff was nice. I come to this Starbucks as often as I can. I order a Iced White Chocolate Mocha with Sweet Cream Foam. It has been very good up until the last 2 weeks, mornings it has changed. The sweet cream foam has been more liquid then like a foam. I did ask a employee about it last week and she said some of the employees making it will not measure the sweet cream and make it on there own. My guess they are hurrying. But if we are paying extra for the sweet cream foam shouldn't they make it right ?! read more

As someone who routinely orders the same drink from Starbucks, I know (and watched) the barista did not make my drink correctly both ingredients wise and size! I ordered a venti as we were going to tour campus, and I even asked nicely for more oat milk to top since my drink was nowhere near the top. I asked for light ice and received a venti shaken espresso that had one shot of espresso, one pump of the brown sugar syrup, and 1/2 cup of oat milk. Best part was that it wasn't even shaken. Perhaps it helped that there was no one in line behind me, but I appreciated how pleasant she was. This has to be the best Coffee shop in Statesboro. Now it is a little bit pricey but still a darn good coffee shop. They also have sandwiches and some other type of things you can get croissants and different type items like this, but the only deal is they don't have any condiments to put on them which kind of a turn off if you want mayonnaise or mustard, something like that go on your sandwich. I am a little disappointed in this Starbucks. I usually have overall good experiences here. I was on my way to a funeral in Savannah this morning. I decided to stop for a cheese danish and a caramel macchiato. The macchiato was fine. However, when I tried the cheese danish, it was very dry. It had no life whatsoever. It was old. I was unable to consume it. I didn't have time to go back for a replacement. I didn't get back to Statesboro until several hours later. I just chalked it up as a loss. My gut tells me that someone knew this item was not fresh, but heated it up and sold it anyway. Please don't serve anything to anyone that you would not want served to you. I am a very, very regular Starbucks customer and Gold member. It's very disappointing when things like this happen. We customers pay good money for the items we purchase. read more

This Starbucks is unfortunately the only Starbucks besides the one on the Georgia southern campus so it's always busy and I feel for the poor workers. I've seen many Karen's come in here and be mean to the workers and the workers have kept a great attitude the whole time. The people complaining about this place are probably the rude ones who have no respect for the workers just trying to do their job as best as they can. They always make my drink right, they always are kind to me, and I always have a good experience here. I come here almost daily, so don't listen to the people who visited once and were rude to the workers because their venti cold foam with 30 shots of rainbow and extra steamed ice cubes weren't perfectly made at 500°C. read more

I went into this Starbucks before work on Friday and I always get the Guava White Tea with no ice and lemonade. Anyways I waited at least 30 minutes for my drink and when I get it, it had ice in it so I asked the barista who made my drink (tall, brown skin male) if he could take the ice out because I asked for it without ice. So he took my drink and I WATCHED him pour out all the ice and proceed to fill my drink up with water. So when he handed me my drink back, I obviously took a sip out of it in front of him and asked him if he could remake my drink. He then proceeded to snatch my drink away from me with the biggest attitude ever and remake my drink to me while mumbling under his breath and he tossed it right back to me when he was done. read more

If I could give them no stars I would!! So I get to the store at 9:52!! Due to the COVID19 they've changed the hours from 6am to 10am which makes absolutely NO SENSE.. because the drive thru is only open anyway. As I'm pulling into the line a belligerent worker stands in front of me with a sign that says "This is the last car allowed". So I kindly ask her ma'am can I go through because it's not 10am yet.. and I've been up all night studying because they've moved hour nursing program online (awful trying to teach yourself how to become a nurse). She starts screaming at me "ma'am that's not my problem the manager says you can't come through. The hours are 6-10am." She then starts talking into her headset.. "yea we got another angry customer!" I said "maam, I'm not angry.. I just simply asked if I could just get one cup of coffee, and you started yelling at me." At this point it's 9:53. Smh.. I understand that we all have to follow certain social distancing rules. But that does not mean that customer service should be throw out of the window. In this time we are all living in fear because of the unknown. And that is why we should treat others with kindness and respect. Her insensitive impolite attitude is not what I expected to be greeted with. It's unacceptable and something needs to change. Perhaps your hours should to say from 6am- 9:30ish, seeing as you aren't allowing people in your line after 9:45. I am normally am giant fan of this Starbucks, and there are some amazing employees that work there. However, today I went through the drive through and the service was the worst I have ever had. Lindsay was the cashier's name. I have never had her take my order before, but I hope she never does again. They were out of the bacon gouda sandwich, so she suggested something on the lunch menu Instead. I asked her if they had their other breakfast bacon sandwich, she left, and then she returned with a cold "no we are out of that too". I gave up on breakfast and ordered my drink. When I got to the window, she had assumed I didn't want whip cream. I decided to just get her name and my receipt and give up on this trip. She gave me my drink and shut the window. I waited for her to reopen the window so I could ask for my receipt. She rolled her eyes at me and then proceeded to print it.
