We stayed here for three nights and had no complaints. There's lots of trees and very peaceful. Compared to many campgrounds, we did not feel crowded in and had a pretty green space behind us and in front of us. The site was pretty level and had a nice gravel, rock-lined area with a picnic table and fire pit. No septic at our site #3. Dogs are allowed on leash, no pool, but a pond with a fountain at the entrance. The hosts were friendly. Not a lot of amenities, but pleasant!

What a delight it was to stay at Three Springs! Rachel was wonderful! The cabin was clean & well kept, the check-out process was easy. We stayed with a group who stayed in an RV spot. They loved it as well. Showers were HOT, with great pressure, and clean! Can't wait to come back!

Marvelous campground from the moment we entered the park. Check-in is fast & easy. The owner, Chris, meets every camper at their site & helps them back in. SO helpful! All campsites are equally nice. Tent sites are gorgeous. Manicured lawn & grounds. Lots of tall trees for shade. There are three hiking trails anyone can accomplish. We are full time in our RV so we appreciate when we find serenity & we definitely found it here. Showers are clean and well kept. Good water pressure. Paved road all the way in, then well kept gravel road in the campground. Nice and smooth. Excellent for running or walking too. The campground is surrounded by lush woods. Chris brought the honey wagon to our RV & took great care when he hooked up & disengaged. This campground is very close to The Ark & Walmart is 12 miles up hwy 75 so it's a quick drive. We were here while it's rained all day & there are no flooded areas. We have three dogs and they were allowed. It's a little piece of heaven here and we will definitely keep a record of Three Springs to visit again for at least a month if not longer. I posted photos of the campground so please check them out.

Anything I have to say about this campground must be taken in the context that apparently, they had suffered from some flood damage the weekend before we arrived. I was the first to arrive with a group. Upon check-in, I quickly found out that I couldn't change my reservation to one night instead of two. I can return and have one night free, but I'm not sure I can transfer that to anyone else. So buyers beware. As more of our group arrived, we found out that 1) there are no sewer connections, 2) there is only one washer/dryer-so basically no laundry because one of the machines was down, and 3) said "laundromat" closes at 7 pm EDT. The ladies in our group had to drive 17 miles to the nearest laundromat to do laundry. The pool was in deplorable condition, but that may have been from all the rain. The bathrooms were clean, but the showers were terrible-basically a trickle at "full force" which a sign on the wall says not to use full force as it will flood the bathroom and is not necessary. ⁉ On the plus side, the location is ideal for quick access to the Ark Encounter. The property itself is pretty. There was some pretty scenery and wildflowers. We pitched our tent beside a babbling brook. It was a bit buggy, but there was a muddy pond nearby that probably was a mosquito haven. Here's hoping this campground can improve and the owners can properly advertise their amenities so folks can be prepared and know what to expect.

It's nestled back into nature and right on the Kentucky River of course. We are full timers and have been living here for 4 months and we are going to be sad to leave. The campground is filled with everything you need. There's an awesome common room with tables a fridge stove TV/Cable also A WiFi Cafe (just ask for password) and laundry room. So many things all there for your use. There's also an awesome men's and womens restroom that they just redid the floors in and are now painting! Two showers each is very convenient. If you want a fire pit by your camper just ask! Most people here have their own. You may not be parked on the river. But it's just. Short walk and benches are available for enjoying the views. It's a very short walk to the water from anywhere in the camp. Most of the campers here are share holders and only come for the weekends so during the week it's very quite and relaxing. Many weekends there have been live bands and so many other fun activities going on! Every is usually friendly and polite. Don't forget to wave at your neighbors! Charles, Rus, and another gentleman (sorry I forgot your name) do an amazing job to accommodate you during your stay and work hard to make the campground what it is. Don't forget the office where you'll check in and such has items available for sale from sweets to t shirts.

Accidentally came upon this campground after we had some major truck issues. Angie, the manager and…read moreeveryone we came in contact with were super nice and helpful during our unplanned stay. Campsites were close, but still had ample room to socialize. Grounds were well maintained. Nice, quiet, and peaceful location for a quick stay or extended trip. Would definitely return. Most impressed with all the staff and campers that made us feel like family. Since we were without a truck for 6 days, we were offered rides, food or anything we needed. One long term camper, Chuck offered us his truck for the day! In traveling, you don't always look at the physical amenities a place has to offer, but the personal connection that the "camping family" provides. Thanks Angie, Russ, Chuck, Kelly, Bryan and all. While our truck was delivered back to us, the kitchen slide broke (on our new camper) . Sadly, our long awaited trip to Maine was cancelled as we had to return home. Still waiting for repairs.

The site had a great view of the river and mountain. the site was well maintained with a fire pit and a electrical service. The Wi-Fi coverage worked great as well. The owners, Matt & Craig, were very welcoming from the first point of contact, to our tour, and then during the booking process and check out process. You won't find a nicer pair of owners. The grounds are well organized and maintained. The common areas are kept clean and welcoming. The pool and social pods are a great amenities. All the members we met over the weekend were extremely nice and welcoming. Although this was not an event weekend, there was plenty to do and enjoy. We had a member campfire with music and performances on Saturday night. The conversations were great and inclusive. We could not have asked for a netter group of members to hang out with during our stay. If you're looking for a place where you can get away, connect with the beauty of the mountains of Kentucky, and enjoy a great group of people, you will need to join us at River Ridge. Even if you are not the social type, there are plenty of things to keep out occupied. The camp has really nice trails and swings to sit along the river and listen to birds and watch the fish, turtles, and other wildlife. You can have a fire at your personal site and cuddle up with that special someone and enjoy the best that nature can offer. I must add, the fireflies or lightning bugs put on a nice show. Try to find that in a city! We will be back again very soon!
