The studio is clean, well organized, and refreshing. Many studios and artists exhibit a "dirty image,"but nom so here. Very clean. Jamie Santos has an excellent reputation with many years of experience. It's located on Westcott Street, in the University area - smart strategic placement. I anticipate a couple tattoos by Jamie within the next couple months. So far, I am very favorably impressed. I'm confident her artistic ability will continue to be outstanding. read more

October 30, 2021. They offered a flash tattoo day starting at 12pm. I arrived at 11:35am and stood in line. They took my number and said they would give me a call when they are ready for me. After hours of waiting around in my car, I called at 4:45 to see where I was on the list (I was getting hungry). The person at the front desk told me it would be another 1.5-2 hours until I was next. I decided to get food and return afterwards. I sat in my car until 7pm (at this point, I've been in my car for 7 hours waiting). After waiting around for so long, i decided to call again to see if I was going to get tattooed. After politely asking if it was going to happen, they informed me that they over booked for the day. They did not have the decency to call people on the list to inform them of this. I was customer 31 out of 65 and they only got to 25 people within 7 hours... for an industry that is supposed to be "professional" (every artist there has numerous years of experience) I found this to be super unprofessional. This couldn't be their first rodeo doing this..they should have had a limit on the amount of customers. This is not a "learning experience", this is a business dropping the ball in major fashion. Not only did they waste my entire Saturday, but they also wasted the entire day of half the people that waited in line during a rainy day to get a tattoo. Worst part of all is that I have a newborn child at home that I could have spent time with, yet they couldn't even call people to tell them they won't be served. I implore people that are looking to get a tattoo to go somewhere else. To say this day was a let down would be a complete understatement. read more

I have said this to countless of people who have complimented my tattoos. Unless Jamie doesn't want to do a particular project for me because it's not in her style, I won't go to anyone else for ink ever again. I've seen five different artists including Jamie, and none of them even come close to how amazing she is. I'm a 20 year old woman with ADHD and a low pain tolerance, and she makes getting a tattoo fun and a breeze. She always talks to me through my tattoos and gets me talking to distract me from the pain. She's incredibly easy to work with on a project, because when I don't know how to describe what I want, she takes the ideas I have and creates a masterpiece. She's also the only artist I've ever had who uses lidocaine to help ease the process, and it shows that she truly cares about her clients and her business. If you ever have any traditional or neo-traditional projects you want, go to Jamie. You won't regret it at all. read more

You can tell she enjoys doing this and takes pride in her work. She isn't someone just going through the motions. I am very impressed with my brows and the overall experience. A little run down of what happens - you make a consult appointment and then go in for the consult. She explains the process and actually outlines the areas where your brows should be. If you decide to proceed, you then make an appointment for the microblading. This appointment takes approx. 1 1/2 hours. I will admit that it is slightly uncomfortable when she first starts but she then adds a numbing cream and you can no longer feel it. You then make your appt for approx 6 weeks for a fill. Riki gives you a detailed sheet with what to expect and do over the next few weeks. She also gives you the items needed for the initial few weeks - cleanser, ointment to be applied. You cannot exercise to where you sweat for 2 weeks - you've been warned ladies! LOL - this part was a little frustrating for me but I got my run done in the morning before going and just knew what to expect and thought about long term and how I didn't want to impact the look, plus I just spent all of that money, there was no way I was damaging her awesome work! The second week, I had a little flaking and they were a little itchy. Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend going here, if you are considering microblading.

For my bridesmaid who wanted it heavier, she got it. For my mom who doesn't wear makeup and wanted just a touch of it, she got it. If you explain to Riki what you want (even in general terms) she makes it happen. She's a makeup magician! And such a calming presence too. Truly, can't thank her enough for making me feel and look like myself on my wedding day!
