( See Pix) A small place where weekly displays are placed to show ( and sell) A good turnout of people at tonights presentation. I'm told, how it works is, Displays are up for -a week. Anyone interested in purchasing sees Tommy, gives there info and when exhibit closes they can be called to purchase and pick up their items. Lovely sweet - or- maybe not!!!- Natalee **o ( see pix) works behind the counter selling drinks ( hmm- I saw nothing Red!) Then there was The Nurse in White- Darin! A few lovely girls with some extra pointy teeth, and even Woody/ Tommy was there. A smaller Venu that was really fun with some great art works and definitely worth a visit.

I had such a great first impression at Clayscapes. I came in as a new small business owner and…read moreteacher, initially coming specifically for some tool kits and a specific clay body. The process was very seamless and fast and felt very much taken care of. Andrew, who helped me, was very knowledgeable with bodies and had I had more time I would have liked to have seen more of the site. I walked out with a sufficient amount of tools to get my program off the ground and the clay I really wanted. As Andrew assisted in loading my car, we saw a very injured bird (in this very packed parking lot). It was so disturbing how broken the wing was that I got on the phone several minutes later to find a rescue volunteer or find a way to take it home with me. I was told that there had just been a call placed in Syracuse with the same description and that it might be the same bird. On revisiting the parking lot, hoping to find the "girl from WA" who I was told caught it, we happened to see Andrew again and asked if he might know if it was scooped up. He smiled and said that they were the ones that caught it and it was off to be cared for. These are the kinds of people you want to do business with. My heart just swelled and I could drive back home feeling we did everything we could and what caring people run this place. I will be back again! I'm actually very surprised I am the first to leave a review as Clayscapes has been verbally recommended many times over since it has been about 20 years since I've bought clay in Upstate NY. I hope more follow suit!

If it was only in San Diego - but Syracuse has to have something to help get through the 5 month long winters! Oh, classes are cheap - $10 for drop in, $7 if you have student ID.
