    Three Generations Pool sure can keep a pool clean, but I would like to use this review to point out their great customer service. Ross gets back to me in a prompt manner each and every time. If you want a company that cares about their customers call 3G!

    Liar, liar pants on fire. In the last week I've caught Ross Wilber, owner of 3 generations pool service in 2 BLATANT lies. The first one caused me to fire him, the second one pertaining to an alledged filter cleaning he tried to charge us for in our final closing bill that never happened. In both cases, even when caught in his bold face lies, he just double downs, refusing to accept reality or taking any accountability whatsoever. Lie #1: We had Ross' company maintain our pool for the last several months. I made it crystal clear both in writing and verbally that we wanted our pool to be maintained with the least amount of chlorine possible due to the chemical senstivities my daighter has. He confirmed this direction. Once we started swimming a couple weeks ago, sure enough, my diaghter breaks out in a rash. I checked the salt water chlorine generator and to my shock, it was set on the highest possible setting, instead of the lowest, as we had agreed. After approaching Ross on the issue and with multiple email communications, it became clear that he wasn't using the requested Orenda products we requested or using minimlal amounts of chlorine. I caught him in a lie asking him how much and how often he was using the Orenda products. He never directly answered the question and tried his best to wiggle around the topic, all while taking zero accoutnability or offering any apology. So we decided to end our service contract with him. Lie #2 2 days before we fired him, he had emailed us informing us that he would clean the pool filter on the next service day. We asked him not to, and he was fired before they came out for that week. To our shock, in the closing bill he tried to charge us for a filter cleaning that never happened. When we asked him about it (we assumed it was perhaps a billing mistake) he insisted that the filter clean was done, but that we could have it for free (wow what a great guy!). Based on the previous recent dealings with him, I suspected he was, again, full of **it. So I opened up the filter myself and the picture speaks for itself. The filter should be completely white when its just been cleaned, not solid green as it is in the pic. Bottom Line Dishonest, No Accountability, Unable to follow directions. ================== Update in response to Ross' reply on 5/25/2020: I have added a few pictures showing further proof of Ross' attempted deception. Please see payments and emails communications going back to Jan/Feb proving that we've been customers for several months, not 2 months as he stated. Also note that we have indeed paid him for several months of service. Please consider marking this post as "useful" if you feel that it may have helped you avoid a headache.

    If I could give minus 1000 stars, I would…read more I am writing this so other homeowners are aware. This is my experience with CLEAN CHOICE POOL & SPA, and these are the facts. During routine pool service at my home, their employee opened my main water valve - that was closed for a good reason - without my permission while I had stepped away to Home Depot to buy a shower cartridge. When I returned, water was pouring into my garage. My home flooded from the top level down. One week before Christmas, EVERY room was water damaged and had to be demolished. When it happened, the employee called the owner on speakerphone and said he had made a "huge mistake," explaining what he had done. The owner responded, "Do not tell this to the lady," not realizing he was on speakerphone. That alone says it all. Instead of coming to assess the damage, he claimed that he was out of town and that he could not recall the name of his insurance carrier. From that moment on, they never showed up, neither the owner BOB, neither his son ADAM. I was left alone dealing with the consequences. What followed were more than 4 months of construction, two years of stress, a $5,000 deductible loss, and additional out-of-pocket expenses. Because I had to file through my own insurance, my homeowners policy was not renewed. In California, if you have a single water claim -- regardless of fault -- it is extremely difficult to obtain new coverage. To this day, I have been unable to secure a house insurance, and my mortgage has increased by $600 per month due to this lack of coverage. This experience has had serious financial and personal consequences for me. I have been fooled by their fake smiles and I regret it every day. Now you know and it is up to you to decide who you want to give your business to.

He and his team did a great job and the project turned out very well--we couldn't be happier with the result. He's not the cheapest around, but provides good value and I could always get him to address any problems arising within a day, if not the same day. Now, six months after completion, the pool has held up very well, and I would contract with South County again.

    From another Happy Customer!…read more Sean - your guys just finished a pool/spa replaster for us and we are very pleased with the results - we have been a pool service customer for 2 years and because of the quality of that service we chose your company to do the replaster - our project manager was Logan Tanner who was amazing from start to finish - he explained every thing that was going to happen and was here to oversee the work each day - over the years we have built a few houses and pools and know how difficult the project managers job is - this project was the smoothest of them all - his professionalism, communication, and patience were everything we hoped - you should be proud to have him as an employee also we were extremely pleased with Joaquin Alcantara who did all the tile work to perfection - he is a master craftsman - and each evening he cleaned the worksite so well you would never know work was going on - we just wanted you to know how pleased we are - thank you - Jim & Lorraine Wharrie
