3 Generations Pool Service has been taking care of our spa for about a year. In that time we have had multiple big issues because of lack of care from previous owner. Ross and his team have immediately addressed the repairs in timely manner or identified them for our home warranty to resolve. The owner Ross even showed up to clean our spa when one of his guys was sick and couldn't come one week. He cares about his customers and makes sure they receive the services they need. We are currently having issues with our home warranty coming up and fixing repairs correctly . Within 1 day of calling Ross he had his repair team out and fully diagnose ALL issues the previous company failed to identify and falsely charged us for repairs. Home Warranty requested an invoice of work needed and Ross jumped to get it in immediately so that they can begin working and repairing the damaged equipment. 3 Generations is phenomenal and would recommend to anyone! read more

Liar, liar pants on fire. In the last week I've caught Ross Wilber, owner of 3 generations pool service in 2 BLATANT lies. The first one caused me to fire him, the second one pertaining to an alledged filter cleaning he tried to charge us for in our final closing bill that never happened. In both cases, even when caught in his bold face lies, he just double downs, refusing to accept reality or taking any accountability whatsoever. Lie #1: We had Ross' company maintain our pool for the last several months. I made it crystal clear both in writing and verbally that we wanted our pool to be maintained with the least amount of chlorine possible due to the chemical senstivities my daighter has. He confirmed this direction. Once we started swimming a couple weeks ago, sure enough, my diaghter breaks out in a rash. I checked the salt water chlorine generator and to my shock, it was set on the highest possible setting, instead of the lowest, as we had agreed. After approaching Ross on the issue and with multiple email communications, it became clear that he wasn't using the requested Orenda products we requested or using minimlal amounts of chlorine. I caught him in a lie asking him how much and how often he was using the Orenda products. He never directly answered the question and tried his best to wiggle around the topic, all while taking zero accoutnability or offering any apology. So we decided to end our service contract with him. Lie #2 2 days before we fired him, he had emailed us informing us that he would clean the pool filter on the next service day. We asked him not to, and he was fired before they came out for that week. To our shock, in the closing bill he tried to charge us for a filter cleaning that never happened. When we asked him about it (we assumed it was perhaps a billing mistake) he insisted that the filter clean was done, but that we could have it for free (wow what a great guy!). Based on the previous recent dealings with him, I suspected he was, again, full of **it. So I opened up the filter myself and the picture speaks for itself. The filter should be completely white when its just been cleaned, not solid green as it is in the pic. Bottom Line Dishonest, No Accountability, Unable to follow directions. ================== Update in response to Ross' reply on 5/25/2020: I have added a few pictures showing further proof of Ross' attempted deception. Please see payments and emails communications going back to Jan/Feb proving that we've been customers for several months, not 2 months as he stated. What can I say about this company except that they are the best!! We get amazing service and our pool always looks beautiful. Ross is always available if we have questions...he either takes our call immediately or gets back to us within several hours, but he never leaves us hanging. More important than the condition of our pool, is the integrity of the company, especially Ross. Our pool was built in 1997 and we did a full remodel 4 years ago but we did not replace our equipment as it was not needed at the time. Apparently we had the top of the line equipment put in back in '97 so we have definitely gotten out moneys worth. Last week I called Ross to have him check our heater since it does not seem to be heating quite as fast as we would like. They came out yesterday and called with their findings today....he said that the age of the heater is the factor, not the unit so there is not need to replace it right now. I was so impressed with Ross because we fully expected to be told that we should replace the heater. Ross simply said it doesn't need it yet. He could have quoted us thousands of dollars to replace it and we would have done it. With businesses hurting these days because of Covid-19, he could have made decent money on replacement and labor but he stood true to his word, honesty is more important. Pool service started out good for the most part but has really gone down hill fast. No show for three weeks and my pool went green. Made tons of promises to come out and clean our pool only to no show again. While they did finally resolve our green pool they continue to no show for cleanings. I have been a pool owner for a few decades I had one person who was like a scientist with the chemicals and knowledge the first 10 years. Great service people are so hard to find. My heart sunk when he told me he was going to quit doing the pool cleaning business and sail around the world very interesting man. I said Kevin how are you going deal with that Cape Horn situation he said it's a challenge I've always wanted to succeed at . And I have to try before I get too old to do it solo. The Chilean Navy rescued him near death with his leg severely cut an infected. At Cape Horn. Kevin came back from a miracle but decided not to go back into the pool cleaning business. We went thru four different cleaners in three year. Three completely incompetent ones and one dishonest. My daughter Brianna said dad you know Scott Sanders started a pool service business. This was at a time when I was in a total bind. I was so excited and ask Brianna to give me his number right now. I knew Scott was squared away from watching him grow up and I knew he was a completely honest person that whatever task he was to perform he would learn the best possible way to do it. Scott had been my man for over 10 years when he notified me they were selling his business to become a fireman. I was so proud For Scott but was also saddened that I would lose not only the services but the consistent exchange of our personal friendship. Scott can tell you, I was very hesitant as far as being comfortable not knowing who I would be dealing with. Scott assured me "Brad I didn't sell my business to just anybody I waited until I knew I had the right organization for my customers. " that was all I needed. I was in need of a new filter and circuit board but all other companies I checked with were either way to expensive or were 3-4 months out. I hired Three Generations after going through a couple of different pool cleaning companies and being less than satisfied with their service. I waited 6 months to write this review so I could give an accurate assessment. For almost 6 months I received great pool service. They were punctual and did a fantastic job of cleaning and scrubbing my pool walls. Unfortunately a component of my pool malfunctioned and it took a week for someone to come out and look at my pool. During that time my pool had to be shut off and in that time some green algae grew on one of my walls. My husband and I were less than satisfied when 3G finally came out to look at our pool and told us it was working just fine, even though at the highest setting our pool crawler was barely moving. I told 3G about the algae for two weeks the algae continued to grow until every wall was covered in it. Finally we called another pool company who was able to fix our pool problem and get our equipment functioning at it's normal speed. They immediately addressed the algae problem and within a week our pool was clean and no longer green. We have now switched our weekly maintenance to the other pool company. I gave Three Generations 3 stars for the good service they provided before the pool problems. read more
