Honestly a really good place to study…read more I didn't have enough to cover the tuition, but AIE offered a scholarship that bridged the gap between the tuition and what I was able to access through funding and school loans. I wouldn't have had the opportunity to learn hands on otherwise. I found myself not knowing where to start, or if it's even any good when I tried to self teach (no one to give me feedback). I would recommend.

Dedicated 2 years to this place and I Loved being an instructor…read more Did my absolute best to provide the knowledge needed to succeed within my industry, and got glowing reviews from my students. All to be laid off without warning over the summer due to "budget cuts" even though they just remodeled the school and hired on two new employees. less than a month before. The local management might as well just be a sounding board for the AUS management which could care less about you. There is zero support for the instructors. No IT staff, No subs on staff for callouts or sick days, software is out of date with no access to upgrade locally or provide alternatives, no one in upper management is working or even has worked within the industry they oversee, and zero respect for your experience. The owners are drunks, who just brag about themselves and are handing off the school to their kid. Oh and they are WOKE AF! Watch your back if you end up working here and have a backup plan. Oh and if you want to become a student here I got a bridge to sell ya. Don't! Yes you might get good instruction, make friends, etc... But you can find ALL of what they teach online for free if you just take the time to look. This industry is saturated with "academy's," "boot camps," "institutions," "university's," etc... who claim they can get you into a great job, but the reality is, you just need a great portfolio to get a great job. No one with a brain who is hiring will care to look at the piece of paper saying you can do a thing. The only time I have ever been asked about my degree in my art career was, ironically, when I became an instructor. Bottom line... Don't go for any "Art Degree!" Watch online tutorials, follow prominent artists, take specialized short term training programs, which are way cheaper (school of motion, FZD, lucidpixel, etc...).
