My girlfriend and I went in to shop for a cake for our dog Eevee's 5th birthday. The blonde lady at the front greeted us but she kept her eyes firmly fixated on us and I feel like it was racial in nature. My girlfriend and I are both Native American and are brown in skin tone obviously. A customer came in and was talking her ear off and she still kept her eyes fixed on us as we perused around the store as we have never been here before. Like we were going to snatch some dog treats off the wall and run out or pocket a squeaky toy from the racks. The whole thing made me uncomfortable and I'm from Wisconsin so I know what racial profiling and prejudice looks like first hand and this gave me the same vibes. Our first visit to Three Dog Bakery was a hit with our Shorkiepoo..that's a shih tzu, yorkie, poodle mix. Our boy Birch was celebrating his 2nd birthday and he is one picky eater. My sister and i decided to throw our dogs a Pet-nniversary, So last minute we were looking for where to by them a cake and treats and luckily my sister landed on this page! I went to the store and they had some cakes ready. The lady working the counter did an amazing job with the letters and the decorating of our cakes. I also went with several treats for them such as the pup cake, a couple of the chow-co tacos, and some peanut butter cups. They have a great selection of wheat and grain free treats as well which is perfect for those dogs with sensitivities. As the lady got the cakes ready I walked around and was surprised that many of their treats and goodies were affordable since many pet stores over price their products. We have four dogs so of course Three Dog Bakery has been on my bucket list! Today we had the opportunity to take our bulldog, Molly, to check it out and she LOVED it! They gave her a free little treat to try and she was too overwhelmed with all the smells, toys, and fun to eat it in the store but she loved it as soon as we got home. It was Taco Tuesday so we took advantage of the buy one get one free Chowco Taco sale to get four of their Chowco Tacos for just over $3! Such a steal to treat all four of our babies with gourmet treats! They were all super nice and accommodating, even though they were all very busy making treats. They also have walk in grooming services available! The main reason we didn't come in earlier is because we assumed that something this fun and specialized must come with high end prices. Yes! I found a Three Dog Bakery while visiting my boyfriend's family in Albuquerque. Our local store closed last spring in San Diego and I've been missing being able to spoil my pups with these delicious treats. It worked out perfectly that we were able to bring home goodies to our fur babies because we were feeling pretty guilty about leaving them behind for the week long trip. I knew I was going to have some making up to do! This location was bigger than our store was so I spent some time browsing through all of their adorable clothes for both humans and dogs. There's so many cute things! In the end, I stuck with my original plan and chose a few of the treats from the display case. My dogs have always loved the carrot cake so I made sure to grab one of those. We also decided to try the bon bons, which they've never had before. I'm not 100 percent certain but it seemed like the prices were a little lower here. We got both treats for about $5. So far, my dogs have enjoyed the bon bons. We gave them each one as soon as we got home on Tuesday night. The pug quickly chowed down on hers while our mastiff took her sweet time to thoroughly inspect the new treat before finally deciding that it was safe to eat. She's a goof! read more

I asked if they make them like that one with the little paws and they said yes. I had to pay for it and the bill was almost $30 with a little candle!! They brought out a cake that had the words right but there were some kind of mess of a blot they said was paws. I asked if they could fix it and the two women behind the counter literally "Scoffed". I've been to 3 Dog Bakery a few times now and have nothing but love for this quirky place. Beautiful dog treats are offered and packaged at the bakery window. They also offer packages of handmade dog treats, excellent quality resale dog treats, and toys/gifts for pets. The establishment is dog friendly of course. (Sure do wish Flamz next door had a dog friendly patio so you could get a treat for the dog and enjoy a beer and a burger yourself!!) Although the treats and design of the shop is fantastic the stand out is the service. The staff at 3 Dog Bakery absolutely love dogs and are helpful with anything and everything dog. They even helped answer my questions about where to get a particular dog food brand not carried by the shop. This is the cutest doggy bakery in town, and we drive clear across Albuquerque to pick up our Scottie's favorite treats every few weeks. You can get custom birthday cakes or cookies made here for your best buddies barkday, and they even have grass flavored "ice cream".
