This place is okay if you're in a rush, but there's a lady named Leena who is the owner and she is just awful! I never write reviews but she's such a sour person that I need to get this off my chest. I went to her a few days ago to get my brows threaded and she was so rough with handling my skin that it caused a cut- so I asked her to do it gently to which she replies "This is my style, if you don't like it then you may leave". Doesn't smile, is unnecessarily cold in a profession where you need to be kind as a service provider! SO IRRITATING! read more

Not the one. Go somewhere where they don't thread the skin right off your face. Came in for a simple eyebrow threading clean-up and walked out with cuts all over my brows! She had go back in several times after I pointed out obvious hairs that were not threaded. The only reason I came is bc my lady isn't avail today and I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow. My eyebrows look good, but the place itself is filthy. Visible dirt everywhere and I leave feeling so dirty. Ironically, there are signs up saying you can text if you have comments or feedback... You would think that the feedback to clean the store would be obvious. read more

I've been going to this place for about 3 years now for eyebrow threading. It really depends on who is available to do your brows. I've had some of the best service here and some where the person didn't follow my instructions at all and removed extra lines of hair. I go back since its convenient and mostly because they are polite. I would rate them higher if the service was more consistent. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! I have naturally nice full eyebrows and I went to this eyebrow salon specifically asking for simple clean up. The lady there took a whole chunk right off the middle portion of my eyebrow leaving a hole. When she noticed her mistake she started lecturing me about how I need to start using eyebrow filling and proceeded to sell me eyebrow fill in. At this point I was just super confused about what she was talking about because I know my face and I know my eyebrows...there were never any HOLES there. With sheer shock I left the store and upon further inspection, her mistake is VERY obvious and now I do have to use eyebrow make up to cover her mistake !!!! Please stay from this place!! read more

NEVER EVER GET WAXED HERE. I went to get my face waxed and basically came out with first degree burns. The lady who did my waxing knew she messed up and didn't say anything until the very end. On top of that she STILL made me pay. I've been waxing for over 10 years and this was the worst experience I've ever had and I hope no one else ever has to go through the pain I went through. AVOID if you want to keep your eyebrows. When i entered i made myself very clear to the person "do not shape, do not cut, just clean up". Whatever she did was painful so i just thought she didn't know how to be gentle. When she finished i saw that she threaded an entire section of my eyebrow off AND it was uneven. I was very upset and i questioned why she took off so much hair when i made myself so very clear. I told her it took YEARS for my brows to grow back because they just don't grow! She had the audacity to tell me that i don't remember how i looked before and told me to pull up a picture of myself. I believe it was her manager that approached me so i showed her a video of myself to proof how much f**ken thinner my brows got and she apologized to me immensely. However the person who did my brows proceeded to say over and over "no honey it'll grow back in three weeks it's not a big deal" OH and she also justified my brows looking uneven by saying that one brow bone is higher than the other. Stopped by to get my eyebrows cleaned up. This was my first time and I will definitely be back. I prefer threading to waxing. Better for my skin. For those who are unfamiliar, threading will hurt a little, but no more than plucking. This experience was the least painful threading I have experienced. Totally relaxing with the music and incense. I went in the other day to get my eyebrows done the worst experience of my life. First off my eyebrows look like Edward scissor hands did them there so all over the place. Not to be offensive but I don't think they believe in deodorant because the smell was so strong i could smell it through two masks. Not to mention how loud it was they were having a screaming match and they were literally two feet away from each other. As for customer service I believe she was the owner she was so rude in the time of blm i witness her verbally abused the only black girl working there. I like that this place is "enclosed" a lot of threading salons at malls are in carts for all passerbys to see. The price for eyebrow threading here is usually $11 but today they had a special for $9. I asked if this was a special just for today they told me they've had it going on during this time (the holiday season?) I asked the lady (I think her name was nimada) to just clean my eyebrows and not make them too thin. She did that but the weird thing is most threading salons work on both eyebrows but she did one eyebrow at a time. No big deal but she showed me halfway the finished eyebrow before working on the other. If this place was closer I would come back but I already have a threading salon closer to home. read more

Dissatisfied and Disappointed is all that comes to mind when I think of this place, This was my 2nd time coming here, first was great, the tech was attentive to what I explained and her service was Great. I had the eyebrow threading with the henna (which is not henna) lasted 4 days if so. I decided I would give it another shot, well that was the worst decision i have ever made. I explained the same exact way I did the very first time, however this tech apparently wasnt very attentive, I left there practically no eyebrows, after I had been growing them out forever(mind you i told her this) then she offers the henna i say ok and when i leave there i had no henna and no eyebrows. 42$ later!! These people really f* up me and my friends eyebrows. Usually do a pretty decent job with tinting and threading. Last time I went they tinted underneath my eyebrow close to my eye and cut a chunk of my eyebrow out. I am very disappointed with their work this time. Blown away by the unprofessionalism. Stopped by to inquire about henna tattoos, which are advertised in their storefront window. A woman there said to come back tomorrow because she was the only one there. We came back about an hour or so later to see if she was still busy or if she had some time for us. She told us yes and to take a seat. We sat and waited for about ten minutes while she was laughing and talking on her phone. Finally, another customer came in and she jumped to her feet and hung up the phone to work on her eyebrows. She called for someone in the back to come out and talk to us (despite her saying she was "by herself" earlier). The woman asked what henna tattoos we wanted so we showed her the Chinese symbol for love, which is advertised on the front window, and a Scorpio symbol. She said the Chinese symbol was "too complicated" for her and that she can do something like "a simple flower." Why would you advertise something on your front window that you can't do? I've been going here on and off for the past year (because there aren't many options in Stamford) and it's generally been okay with a few exceptions. There's probably like two women who do an okay job (at best) and the others are just downright terrible. No joke, sometimes I've sat there and wondered why my face felt like it was bleeding and when the process is complete, I actually see cuts along my eyebrows and sometimes on the bridge of my nose. One time, one of the ladies accidentally dug her fingernails into my nose while she was threading my eyebrows and left indents and cuts on my face. After that experience, I vowed to never come here again. Even though their pricing is better than other places in the area, it's just not worth risking leaving with uneven eyebrows or with cuts and indents on my face. read more

probably one of the worst places i've been to. i don't recconmend it in any way for eyeleash extensions. both my sister and i were left unhappy with lashes that looked fake and terrible. they charge $30 for lashes and apply gule that burns. we did go back and ask for a solvent to remove them and they told us that they didn't have anything and couldn't take them off leaving us to spend more money and time to try to remove them. if you have sensitive eyes i don't recommend getting fake lashes because the glue burns and they don't ask if u have any allergies so you can possibly have a allergic reaction we ended up spending another $20 at target to buy products that could remove them. i'm very unhappy and will not be returning to their establishment read more

Really great professional service. Both times I have been here they had specials running. It's hidden so you don't have passersby looking in and as I had just moved to the country I was nervous about having someone new work on me. I told her exactly what I wanted and she didn't disappoint. This will defn be my regular salon. I do have very sensitive skin but this threading does feel more painful than my past experience - with a few tiny bruises after. I am so upset with my experience here. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded once before at a different place and they followed exactly what I asked for. I was in the mall and had heard great reviews about this place and so I thought while I was here I would get my eyebrows done as I'm a big fan of threading and i needed to get my brows done desperately. I specifically asked TWICE to just get a clean up around the edges and to NOT thin them whatsoever. My eyebrows were thick before and I loved them and once the lady finished it ended up with half of my eyebrows gone and as thin as a pencil which is exactly what I DID NOT want. You would think that requesting twice to not thin them whatsoever would be clear but I guess not. Not happy and I'm never coming back here again. Very upset read more

I've been coming to this salon to have my eyebrows threaded since they opened. I've had a positive experience each time until today. The staffer who worked on my eyebrows was very rough with the thread and the process was much more painful than usual. I used to go to the other threading place at the mall until my friend recommended me to this one. The first time I got them done here they were great but as time went by I began to realize that only one of them really knew how to do eyebrows right. So I went to get my eyebrows threaded after not getting them done for about 4 months so you can imagine the growth I had. My other friend had gotten hers tinted so I decided to give it a try. The lady that was attending me didn't show me my eyebrows before she tinted them. Once it was all done I was charged 27 dollars, which I didn't mind paying but once I saw how my eyebrows turned out I was upset and felt ripped off. I realized that she took WAY too much off my right eyebrow And on my left eyebrow she went in a little too deep on the front part of my eyebrow so it looks like I accidentally shaved that part. My eyebrows aren't even the same anymore, one is longer then the other and it's just bad. If it wasn't for the tint it would have looked horrible. My friends have had several issues with them too. It went as far as one of them "getting their eyebrows done" and going back in 5 minutes later to ask, the only one that actually does eyebrows right, to redo her eyebrows because the other lady barley touched them. I think after that I am officially done going there. Don't really recommend unless your able to be attended by the only one that knows how to do them right. read more
