If you are really into skating transitions, this is not the park for you as this is really geared towards street skaters. On the day I came through, the kids were pretty obnoxious so I would be hesitant to bring kids to the park that's connected to the skatepark. Regardless of that however, they were really good at skateboarding and it was fun to watch them shred while I was catching my breath in between runs. It was interesting that they had coping on the ledges that went straight into the corners of the park yet opted to leave other more accessible ledges without coping, but this is a minor complaint. I would come back here again, but I would like to practice a bit beforehand as the skill level required to really kill it here is a little higher than what I currently possess!

I almost always see someone on the basketball courts here, seems like the highlight of this place. There's also a playground, BBQ areas, restrooms, which were very clean, and a ping pong table. A rather small park as well as a rather small parking lot, this park is located close to the Oakland/San Leandro border!!

We got lucky and got the last court not in use and no one else was waiting so we quickly jumped in. Courts are well maintained and very clean (wish I could say the same for the SL ones!) And the people playing were really nice and friendly , patient too because we had more than our fair share of errant balls fly over! There's a small parking lot but seemed like there was enough space to accommodate the weekend folks. We'll be back when we can't find one closer in SL.

There's also a playground and a small parking lot on the side of the park next to the skate park. There are also some restrooms located at the rear of this park. A cool little park in this area!!!

You probably lost all your money there or just got kicked out - they don't tolerate any nonsense whatsoever - oh well you learned your lesson and good thing you have your skateboard in the back trunk. The trash was only up front and the toilet was a space age looking thing. Looked like a flying saucer. How cool is that? They call them the Portland Loo. This little park is as good as it gets. Incredible design - somebody did a great job squeezing it in. Half of it opens up to a parking lot so there isn't this claustrophobia inducing feeling when your there. Some good lighting even at night - which is great as the sun sets early now. Grab your skateboard and come here - you'll be as happy as my cat with his beach side crunch party mix treats.

There is also a Bocce Ball court and a playground for the kids here also. But the times that I have been here, I see mostly teenagers hanging out here, doing what teenagers do!!

There's a Swimming Pool ‍, Tennis Courts , Basketball Courts, Swings , Softball Fields , Barbecues and Picnic Benches!!! The Public Works. Department does a Good Job of Keeping the Park Clean and the Restrooms Clean and Stocked!!! SLPD also Patrols the Park fairly Frequently!!!! For All These Reasons, This Is A Baller On A Budget Approved Establishment!!! I Keep My Pimp Hand Strong!!! I'm Gone With The Wind Fabulous!!!

Baseball field well cared for with seating for spectators. Two sets of bathrooms on either side. Didn't go too close. Old victorians on one side new on the other and school on the last side.

This used to be a very low key park many didn't seem to know about...10 years ago. As time has passed, along with a pandemic nothing really feels low key or so special these days. The park rangers do a good job of keeping it clean overall. I've lived in the area over 10 years and it was so much more tranquil before they built more homes where the Cannery was in 2017 & the surrounding area. There are more ppl in the area not native and many aren't the most friendly. The crime has picked up & is compounded because many neighbors don't speak so no one knows who lives here or who doesn't. The police rarely patrol this park for actual crime, but myself and other law abiding neighbors have been harassed over the years at this park. It's next to a school & there is a lot activity around the restrooms/behind that the police don't seem to intercept even if you call them. You are more likely to be harassed/inconvenienced by law enforcement than a criminal. It's not rampant, but ppl do whatever they want at all hours in the park and you are more likely to be questioned as a resident than a non resident.
