Happy holidays; what a beautiful day today!12/24/24 Quality/Quantity - Wow, it has been years since I have been here. Did a 3 mile walk just in one direction. Will do the opposite direction in a few days, if it is not raining. See all my pictures. Good to so many people exercising. Atmosphere - See pictures. 30 acres off the San Leandro coast line. Hope my pictures did it justice. Picnic areas (4 shaded areas) with grills, smokers, etc. Check online for reservations. Play grounds, sanded volleyball court (bring your own net), etc. Small parking lots at both the front and back of the park, but plenty of street parking. Public restrooms at both the front and back of the park. Across the street from Monarch Bay Golf Club. Service - Self service. Price - Free, unless you are renting space. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success. 1960's - Small boat harbor. 1970's - Harbor expanded. 1984 and 1991 - Continued improvements. 2008 - Interesting history from then to now...

Marina Park is a nice area for picnics since it has nice grassy areas, trees, etc. Also, it has a pathway to get closer to the water. In addition, there is a small boat launch area you can use. Great sunset/sunrise views.

After getting some food from DT Dim Sum, stopped here for a picnic and to enjoy our meal with views of the marina. Parking lot seems to always be full and busy. There's also parking along Monarch Bay Dr too. It was peaceful today with many families out walking together on the 1 mile trail along the marina shoreline/jetty. Plenty of benches and picnic tables around with a small playground for kids, too.

This is a great park that has plenty of space and amenities for all your events: birthday parties, church events or road races. They have tons of restrooms and a huge playground and as an added bonus it's right on the water.

I have been here MANY times throughout the years and I absolutely love this place in San Leandro. It is a very fun family friendly park with two playgrounds, a mile walking area to exercise, run, bike, etc. that's near the waterfront. You can also see tons of airplanes fly down to the Oakland airport from here. On the mile trail, there are also different exercise signs to motivate you if you want to do them! There's also a large grass area to do a picnic/play soccer/volleyball, etc. and there are a ton of tables to do a BBQ and more. I've seen so many gatherings here such as: birthday parties, graduation parties, reunions, or even just a normal hangout or date! Or even come solo for yourself to enjoy the nature. There is two free parking lots and free street parking. There are two restrooms, one at each side of the playground - it's not the cleanest but it will do for a public park. I love this park and it's my number one, favorite spot in San Leandro!

Big, beautiful and clean park on the San Leandro Marina. This park is a wonderful respite during COVID-19. Great walking paths along the coastline with exercise prompts along the way for the fitness-minded. People were maintaining social distance and many wearing masks, even on the paths. Clean restrooms (bring your own sanitizer though). Great place to get some exercise while enjoying views of the bay Dog friendly Parking can be hard to find at times so be ready to drive around in circles lol

Recently, I discovered the Bay Trail and I love it. From San Leandro to the San Mateo bridge it's about 12 miles one-way, but I just try to do 3-4 miles each time I visit. If you're facing the water, it's to the left of the 1-mile loop/parking lot. During covid times, almost everyone has been pretty considerate at keeping a 6ft distant and wearing masks. There are lots of walkers, runners and bikers trying to get some fresh air and exercise here. Also, this park is dog friendly! There's a dog park and it's divided in half (one side for small dogs and one for large dogs). I don't have a dog myself (yet) but I love seeing all these furry friends here!

Beautiful well maintained park. It is also a very popular park. This place will get crowded quickly leaving you unable to find a parking space. The key to to arrive early.

You are looking for PICNIC spots.... here it is! Not one, not a few but the entire park is dotted with tables and grills and sunny spots. You can also just picnic and lay on the green grass. Play areas, running trails, gym equipment, view points for plane landings, bird watching... do everything here! Really well maintained park. Will go here again, this time during spring/summers perhaps

Plenty of parking in the lots and on the street with plenty of kids and people bbq and having fun. I walked the marina with my husband and it was fairly clean with a brisk breeze.

Well today I said to self! My Goodness you have expanded. You need to walk and get healthy lady. My daughter said she join me how sweet. She also brought her puppy. Yes, I'm so out of shape walked 15 min. Exhausted. Sat 3min. Than we began to walk again. My daughter puppy hasn't been on a walk in forever. She was out of shape! Well this all changes! She loved the walk the fresh air was so nice. Plenty of people and dogs walking. Everyone was respectful kept six feet. It was a very warm day. I'm glad it had cooled off. I sweated up a storm. I'm happy I will get myself back together. It is 6:14pm I only have 5,797 steps! I must get 10,000. I will clean up etc! I got this! I hope you all had a Wonderful first day of April!

Marina Park is a great park to hang out and enjoy the sunshine and have a picnic or party with the friends and family or kick a ball around or just hang out play some cards and barbecue. Lots of people come here to walk and go around the marina to the point and come back around. There's plenty to do with your friends and family. Or just do nothing and relax. Have a great time!

Very nice place for walking and family. Also, great play areas for children. It is crowded especially on Saturday.

Hi how many miles got this park?

Pretty sure it's not. All it would do is make a fuss and possibly land into the water. LUL
