This is a great park that has a place for little kids and older kids. They also have basketball courts and huge green area to whose birthday parties or any kind of event. Another very nice park that I get to run through in San Leandro!!! I like how it has an arch on the entrance to this park from the parking lot, a little something different. I almost always see someone on the basketball courts here, seems like the highlight of this place. There's also a playground, BBQ areas, restrooms, which were very clean, and a ping pong table. A rather small park as well as a rather small parking lot, this park is located close to the Oakland/San Leandro border!! read more

This is a really nice park! Clean, has two great playgrounds and has bathrooms. There are also two basketball courts and plenty of smooth surface sidewalk areas for rollerskating or for those with impaired mobility. And it has parking. The only thing that might bother some is the sound of the Bart train passing regularly nearby. read more

This place was horrible. I took my kids here and we had to leave because there was a fight going on. Both of them had scratches on them. My 9 year old came back with a bloody nose and a scratched up nose. don't come here ever again. read more

Nice, padded playgrounds. There are two playground areas. The toddler area is completely enclosed, and has a structure, a little tunnel, a see saw etc. The playground for bigger kids is pretty large and also has swings. They have plenty of picnic tables, that have checkerboards on top of them. Bathrooms are open and clean. There are also basketball courts. You can see the BART trains going by which can be fun for the little ones. Downsides are the neighborhood it is in is a bit run down. Also, there is no shade over the playground. read more

Good sized park that seems to have it all. Newer playground and facilities - next door to Los Cantaros. If you are having a taco next door there is no reason not to stop by and enjoy the park. Its large with lots of green to enjoy. Came later in the evening - and people were still around and thats usually a good sign. Lots of newer trees that will one day add shade. Ambiance is hurt a bit by the proximity to the bart train and busy San Leanro Blvd. Also late night there are a lot of rats running around the general area between here and the Wendy's. read more

Being an Oakland native and coming back after some years...I remembered this park passing by in our van and was always like..."how do you get to that park". Very quaint, snuggled in a Oakland/SanLeadro border neighborhood. They have what you need. BBQ pits, age appropriate play equipment, super clean and tucked away. Siempre Verde Park has been around for years. never seen it on a driveby while on San Leandro Blvd. only saw it driving by on Park. the signage is on Park side as is all the parking. amenities/notes: -basketball court -lawn area for picnicing -set tables and seating for games (chess, checkers, etc.) -grass soft ball field -bbq pits -picnic table by reservation -alcohol not allowed -limited parking. read more

Nice park just remolded. I love that the toddler area has a gate around it. I feel super safe! It's a very nice park, well kept. They have restrooms. Lawn area for sports, bbq pits, quite a few tables, they even have tables with chess/checkers boards on their tables! So cool. Plenty of garbages & recycle bins. They have 2 basketball courts. It is a really nice park, limited parking. This place gets packed on the weekend. Many parties! read more

Positives: great park that has been remodeled...has various areas for kids, a lawn for soccer/football/volleyball, and two basketball courts. Plenty of families were here on a weekend. Best park by far. The turf was great for on a hot day. There where many types of things to climb on. Great aluminum slide during a hot day. This park has become on of kids favorite. We have not been here in about 5 years. At some point in that time the park was remodeled. The upgraded park has so many great features the whole family can enjoy. My 8 year olds enjoyed the play structure for older children as well as the swings. We were able to sit at a picnic/eating area and have lunch. After they joined some other children for a water fight in the large grassed area. There was plenty of seating for me to move around and still keep a good eye on my kids. There is an enclosed "tot" area that my 17 month old niece was able to enjoy. With lots of space to run and climb. With very well padded flooring. We did not use but observed a basketball court, small workout station, small pond, additional tables/seating, and of course restrooms. read more

The park itself is ok. We pass by it on foot a few times a month to go to the plant nursery nearby. But the area around the park....be careful. Especially the side along San Leandro Blvd. Broken down cars with smashed windows that are covered in dust and haven't moved in weeks (or months), with sketchy people lurking inside, garbage all around, including smashed booze bottles. Even the parking lot is full of trash. Do yourself a favor and stay away from the San Leandro Blvd entrance, it's a dump. read more

The park has recently been reconstructed and it looks awesome! There is a see saw that can seat two kids on each side. I am watching these two cute little boys enjoying themselves while the caretaker helps the ride move. There are a few different play structures, benches, and small tables that seat four at each. Newly planted trees and grass with small bushes all around. I have never seen so many people at this park before the upgrade. The park is always full of people now but still pleasantly quiet. They've redone this park. It's amazing now. Two separate play area for different age group. A basketball court, ping pong tables (really), exercise machines, checkers tables, BBQ pits, nice green grass and clean bathrooms. Only drawbacks, no parking lot but there's street parking and not enough shade. read more

I come here to walk my dogs, and ever since the park has been reconstructed, it's now cleaner, with playgrounds for kids to play on. Unfortunately, like any other public park, there are jerks who litter food and trash and other things that make me wary for my dogs. It's close to San Leandro Bart station, and it's better to come during later hours when there aren't that many people. read more

This Park is located close to the San Leandro & Oakland Border. It has Restrooms . It features a Reservable Picnic Area From April 1- October 31 with 3 tables and BBQs with a Lattice overhang, Full Court Basketball Court ,Kids Play Area and a Grass Soft Ball Field. Before San Leandro implemented the Alchol Ban this Park would get quite Colorful with Huge Dance Parties with Beer Kegs in the Basketball area. read more

Park is good. Nice playgrounds, and good exercise equipment. Only drawback is that it's too small for walking or running.

Nice little park but overrun on weekends and holidays with loud, obnoxious people who would rather throw the trash on the ground than put it in the trash can. I feel bad for the folks that live across the street. read more
