For coming at lunchtime, this place had lots of customers and had the pleasure of talking to a few that come regularly. Nice shaded patio area for food truck, which is nice during sunny San Diego summers. They also had heaters and music, which is nice specially since it's cooling down this winter. I got aguachile verde and quesabirria. The quesabirria was good but they limes with no juice at all and a tiny amount of sauce. The aquachiles was excellent and better than most of the restaurants i have had it at. If you're simply driving the Southbay or you're looking for a good place to get lunch during work, I recommend this place. read more

I always drive by this food truck parked here in Chula Vista and decided to give them a try. So glad I did, because now I have a good taco truck option close to home. I just ordered a shrimp and a fish taco. Probably should have tried more because the other orders that were coming out of the truck looked very appetizing. The tacos I ordered were delicious. I really liked that the batter on the fish wasn't too thick or overwhelming. The tomatoes, onions and cabbage were fresh and crisp. I think the sauces they give you really elevate the tacos. A chipotle cream sauce and a cilantro sauce really upped the flavor profile. Overall, a good spot for a taco craving. We enjoyed fish tacos , a shrimp taco , aguachile, cóctel de pulpo and tuna tostada.We liked our tacos a lot a bit pricey though. The aguachile was pretty good spice and good amount for a tostada. The octopus cocktail was super plain not sure what it was missing but needed something. The tuna tostada was okay but wished they added the tostada on the side because it was a big soggy mess when we got home. We had also had the aguachile spill all over the bag. Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a quick lunch. It's located on the side of one of Eastlake's main streets in a parking lot right off the road. Kind of super random placement not gonna lie but also convenient at the same time to local residents. Looking at past reviews, it does sound like this truck is newer and replaced another one. I ordered the Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Birria and it was amazing. The bread is buttered and toasted perfectly, and the birria tasted great. I honestly wouldn't order any tacos here, one taco was around 4-7 dollars EACH. They look really good but I wouldn't be able to justify one taco for $6 when you can get a whole burrito for around $10 from the same menu. I'm guessing the taco price is because most of the options are seafood. There are some tables under a huge tent right in front of the truck, so seating wasn't an issue at all. They also have condiments and napkins on the tables so you don't have to worry about getting messy! read more

Can't believe I haven't gone to this food truck until recently when a friend of mine invited my to grab a bite after playing tennis at the Eastlake Club just down the street from the hill this spot sits on. There is a dedicated (gravel) parking lot as well as a tent setup with bench seating--a big plus and the staff keeps the tables wiped down frequently. The Taco Tuesday special on discounted fish tacos is a great deal, and the portions are filling. every time i come here i have a bad experience. i went just right now for an order i placed on the phone, after i placed the order i called back 2 minutes later to change the order and the girl who took it the first time said they already made the food and i couldn't change it? not a big deal but any other place would've let me change it especially bc i called back so soon. next they forgot to add my aguachile when i came to pick it up, i called to let them know & they didn't say sorry or anything and they said they can refund me another day and i can come back? so i came all the way back for it. the younger girl at the window didn't even say anything , just handed it to me which is a shame. this was a big inconvenience & they didn't even seem like they cared or was apologetic about it and mind you my order was $40 worth of food that i had to drive all the way back for just to get the whole order i bought. this place has good food but lacks customer service BIG TIME and for that reason i will not be back. read more

Random hole in the wall little spot. They are located to the right of a church parking lot. There is a lot of parking and seating. The people are nice and quick service. I highly recommend their fish tacos. Although I wish they would give consume like most places. But the reason i came here was because I was told their birria tacos were good. However, they were definitely not my favorite. The caldo of the birria was flavorless too me and very greasy tasting. I would go back just for fish tacos and maybe to try the mariscos. read more
