    Hair/mud trash
    Cat M.

The laundry room was filthy. Out of 20 washers there was one that was clean. The others had mud, candy, sticks, cigarette butt, pet hair - lots of pet hair. The mud and hair clogging the machines was the worst I've seen in all the years of camping (6 years). I have zero interest in having that filth mixed in with my clothes. This is two issues... housekeeping hasn't been taught how to clean the machines AND/OR customers who are inconsiderate and overfilling machines with pet laden debris, rugs, and who knows what. Very disappointed and certainly not the standard we expect.

Wonderful camping site! Pretty much everything is renewed and and redone. Beautiful, modern bathhouse, brand new pool area, mini golf, playground, basketball court, tennis court... we wish we could have stayed longer, but we were just passing through. I could have totally stayed much longer and enjoyed the campsite with all its amenities!

Stayed the weekend for the Bass Master Classics and this place was really nice and clean, but I didn't understand why you have to wipe down the restroom, wash dishes, sweep and mop before you check out. If that's the case why should we pay around $500 for the weekend.? If I'm saving the camp grown money by not having the staff clean the place, as do the Hotels, customers and/or members should receive a discount. Just saying. That's the only issue I'm complaining about.

Sunsets always seem to be amazing here.

Always clean, family friendly. Lights out is enforced in the campground . Never, ever do you see trash lying on the ground. Fishing around the marina is fun. Beach area is kept clean, hot tub always hot and clean, pool is huge! They have a brand new dog park. Really worth the trip..

You would come in, pick your site, let the ranger station know and you were done. Now, since a couple months ago, they changed it to where "a computer" would pick your site for your, which would be good if all the sites were the same, but they definitely are not! Some sites are paved, some are rock, some long or short, some easy to get into, some not. They basically took your choice away! Before, if you got here and all the "good" sites were taken, that's the luck of the draw. Both times since they changed to this I've had to ask to change the site, first time, I couldn't get into the site if I wanted to. Second time they put us in a site we definitely did not want. Now, they put up a sign no drinks in the edge of the pool, no exceptions! A lot of people go to the pool, stand at the side, drink whatever it is, chill and have a good time. So now that choice has been taken away. I can understand glass containers, glass and pools don't mix, so punish those people! We have loved this place for years, but it's getting to where we don't like coming here anymore. Some of the employees are nice, some not so much. Some of the employees seem extremely lazy and are just here to talk and play. Mean while, the speed limit is 5 mph, I've seen people doing I think around 25 or 30. People have their kids and dogs walking around the park and I haven't seen much to stop that. But standing around the pool drinking whatever and having a good time, the managers said shut it down! I really don't know what's happening here. Just think hard before buying a membership. The memberships can cost thousands of dollars and they can make changes anytime, whether you like it or not, and you either have to deal with it or get rid of it. They don't care what you think! Anyway, have a good day.

This resort has half of their fencing broken, which brought stray dogs to wander every day. Employees said there was nothing they could do. This made it difficult to walk my dog. The water pressure actually had no pressure. It would drip out of the faucets. The pool is very large and fun, but the pictures show slides and there are zero. If your looking for a great dog park, your in luck. Looks top notch. The cabins were also covered in dust and dead bugs as well. Will not be back. 2 star for the great pool. Also, wifi does not work.

My family stayed in one of the larger hilltop cabins, which are absolutely gorgeous. They sleep about 8 to 10 people, with a full size bed and bathroom with shower downstairs. Upstairs has a set of bunks with full on the bottom, another full sized bed and a single twin. Downstairs has a sleeper sofa. Kitchen is fully decked out with microwave and electric stove top / oven. Dishes and pots and pans etc all stocked. Lovely high window stretching 20 feet up faces the lake and a nice deck big enough to have the whole family on. They have a big pool with slides and canoes to rent. Not sure if they changed their name to Waters Edge or if that is just the name of the development overall, because I didn't realize at that most of the area has permanent residents in little tiny home cabins, and I think they VRBO these a lot too. Overall we felt very welcome and had fun. If you're a hardcore fisherman or hiker, there may be some better spots for this, but if you're looking for a nice relaxing spot with balanced activities to just hang out with the family, this is definitely the spot!

This place is nice, quiet with friendly patrons. The site we stayed in worked out well and had everything we needed. Mrs. Tammy the Manager was super friendly and helpful. The pad site we stayed on was level and everything worked at it should. The only comment I would mention, is the roads in the park need some attention, lots of deep pot holes. Overall really good experience.

He questioned me about my holding tanks and even went as far as to say that it didn't look good. Mind you, I get so many compliments on my rig because it has an amazing military paint job and it's nicer than most RVs that I've seen on the inside. Regardless, he rented me a spot for 2 nights. While I was in the office, he took a call from another camper (tent camping) and informed her that they don't rent tent campsites. She asked why and his response was, "They're more trouble than they are worth and so are the campers." I felt that was an extremely rude response and uncalled for. I will chalk it up to he's just a miserable old man with an elitist attitude. Hey buddy, you work at an RV park. No reason to be an elitist. Anyway, while I was in my rig, the landscapers came by to cut the grass and they kicked up a rock which broke my back window (it looks like someone shot my window). I went by the front desk and they were closed so I called. The same man answered the phone and basically acted like it wasn't his problem. This place sucks and so do the people who work here.
