Went down to check on the clothes that I had attempted to wash in the evening, and the same error codes were showing. I contacted AZE and the part that was needed to fix it wouldn't be available for 3-5 business days. That being unacceptable they are hopefully returning tomorrow the 30th to remove the part that was erroneously installed and issuing a refund. Turns out they're claiming I cancelled the credit card transaction but I still have to pay the $75 which I'm not. I've started the dispute process which includes all the messages between me and the technician.

He came to my home for my dryer for which I have had 2 other service people come in only to tell me "I can't fix what I don't see is wrong". Perhaps so but unlike the others Patrick took the dryer apart almost down to the very bolts in his honesty to find the problem truly explaining that what he did may and may not fix the issue. He was so highly committed to the fix of the appliance for me. Other repair people left me with an attitude of "don't bother me with another call if the dryer doesn't work". Unlike the others, Patrick asked that I call him the day following his repair visit, a day I had planned to use the dryer. I now report that the repair Patrick did provided the dryer to be working fine. I cannot say enough in praise for Patrick and will sing his praises to anyone who asks me for a name of an honest, reliable, credible, expedient, mannerly, highly professional appliance repairman. My first experience was terrible. The repairman, Ali, came to fix my LG dryer. It was working, but…read moreit wasn't very hot and needed to run twice to dry clothes. Ali took it apart and said one strap was slightly damaged and a fuse was faulty, totaling $500. I said that was too expensive; a new model of this dryer costs $670 in Lowe's. His manager said he'd lower it to $350, which I accepted, mainly because my tenant needed it fixed urgently. However, even after Ali's efforts, the screen's "change filter" alarm was still on, and the temperature still wasn't hot enough. He tested both the normal and high temperatures and both were in the 90s Fahrenheit. I checked ChatGPT and it says the normal temperature is 130-140 degrees Celsius. I explained these two points to their manager, who became very impatient, saying that's how the temperature is supposed to be. He accused me of not wanting to pay and threatened to call the police over the phone. I had cash ready. I didn't expect it to turn out like this. The alarm is still on, and how can my tenant use it if the temperature isn't high enough? In the end, it turned into me refusing to pay, which made me so angry. Even when the police came, they didn't care. After all that fuss, I agreed to take the replacement parts and buy a new dryer. But my dryer completely stopped working! (The fuse, which was supposed to be connected, was broken and they put it back in). The manager kept emphasizing that this was a big company, but having been in business for many years, I can tell the company is still a family business. The manager's business attitude was terrible. The judge was a jerk and spoke rudely. I never owe money; my credit score is 767. But in business, I believe in fairness and reasonableness. I advise everyone to be careful with this company, as their prices are very high, almost the price of a new product. However, their quick response was a good thing. Ali was also a nice person.
