Use to be good ...what's changed to cause this drop in quality? Picked up two pieces and they were terrible.

The counter staff wiped everything down between customers and it made a big impression

Pizza had really good cheese on it! Will be back to try other chicken wing flavors. Very classic style pizza joint.

Easily the best pizza I've had in BC! My friends and I were looking for a quick bite before a night out and decided to check this place out from its Yelp reviews. We've been back 3 times in time 2 days now. Their selection is huge and they have lots of both veggie and meaty standard options and then a daily feature - poutine pizza on our first visit - delicious! Tasted so much like poutine which weirded me out in the best way possible! They are generous with the cheese, sauce and main ingredients which is always nice but the real winner here for me is the crust! Oh the crust. The crust is seasoned and twisted! The attention to detail is wild! I think the poutine crust was garlicy and the pepperoni and olive was cinnamon seasoned. It added just the right surprise signature flavour pop at the end that is unique to this place at least in my experience. Will definitely be stopping by whenever I'm in Nelson again. Till then, I'll be praying they open one in Vancouver! read more

Pretty solid pizza for the price point. Nothing to go nuts over IMHO and the service was friendly if overly-familiar and smarmy. Pizza took about 20 mins to make and we were out the door. Line practically out the door on a Saturday night so plan ahead. read more

Very good pizza by the slice, we were eating in a couple of minutes. Only downside is the tiny seating area that encourages takeout. I need to go back multiple times. read more

Best gluten free, vegan pizza globally!!! No kidding! My family love all the other regular options as well great staff committed to feeding Nelson the best dang pizza and they don't disappoint. read more

Great pizza! Tried the shredded pepperoni and it was amazing. Highly recommend! Great pie with a great crust.

This is by far my favourite pizza place in Nelson. Fresh and higher quality ingredients and amazing crust go a long way in making there pizza, not to mention the calzones, delicious. They sell the pizza and calzones individually and by the slice as well as take out and delivery which in my experience is always fast and fresh although not quite as good as the pizza by the slice for some odd reason. Pro tip: if you order a whole pizza ask them to cook it a bit longer than they usually would as the whole pizzas always seem to be undercooked and sometimes have slightly too much sauce (in my opinion) They only lost a star for trying to deliver my pizza to the wrong place a humorous amount of times even after specifically asking them several times to tell the driver which place is mine...not a huge deal though, the pizza still made it to me and was always tasty. read more

Fantastic slices and calzones... But don't order a whole pizza! I've eaten here a half dozen times now, and here's the thing - Thor's in-house slices are amazing. The calzones are to die for. You see them in the window, you try one, and you're hooked. But for some reason, when you order a whole pizza to go, the quality is not the same and you're left disappointed. For starters, the crusts are different (slices have a thick, knotted crust - while whole pizzas to go have a non-existent crust). Perhaps more worrisome however, is that the whole pizzas to go always seem to be undercooked. This has been an issue now on numerous occasions, so I'm only able to give Thor's 3-stars. A shame really, because they're slices are first class. read more

Probably among the top pizzas I've ever had, we tried the mercury which was good but didn't live upto the spicy expectation and the heremis which was a delectable combination of chicken, mushrooms and garlic with a terrific white sauce. Good crust with a nice texture and just the right thickness plus the toppings go right to the edge and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Great atmosphere and so busy, we'd come back to Nelson just to go here again but you can tell the locals love it. read more

The pizza is amazing, and they have great paninis and ciabattas also. read more

Thor's Pizza - From the menu - Pizza Near Me - Nelson, British Columbia

Great pizza! Excellent taste, albeit a little overpriced. Would still get 5 stars, but knocked down to 4 for having just watched a teenaged customer totally get chastised by the staff for not answering loud enough when his order was ready and they called out his name. (Everyone has bad days and this was nearing the end of a rush so take it in context, but really?) This one instance is enough to compel me to try other pizza places in town before coming back. read more

This place has some of the best pizza, and a big slice is only 3.50! I always spend 5 by leaving a tip cuz this pie is worth more than 5, lots of flavours, and options for different diets too, very nice people, perfect crust, this place is great! read more

Ordered pizza to our room. Amazing pizza sauce and crust. Wings really good too, delicious and plentiful. Great service, guy on phone and delivery person were both just too nice and pleasant. Would highly recommend. read more

Pepperoni pizza review, one bite 1-10 rating. It's alright pizza, people probably going to say I'm crazy but I gave It a 6.3.... And that's what it is, mainly because the crust is too bread like, and too much pepperoni couldn't taste the sauce. But whatever. If you havnt been there before GO THERE ... its an awesome little place, go online look at the menu, pre order they got a lot to choose from. Pizza 6.3 read more

In Nelson for the weekend. This is possibly the best pizza I have ever had. Staff was friendly and courteous and it arrived at my hotel much quicker than expected. Price was reasonable as well. I'm very pleased. read more

Great vegan options that are not listed on the menu. The soy cheese honestly tasted so much like real pizza, I was afraid it was real cheese (it wasn't). The staff was friendly. We picked up and brought the food home. They didn't deliver where we were staying. It was really good food. Would order from there again! read more

Always great daily specials. Get the full pizzas cooked a bit longer and you'll be happy. Best slice in Nelson. read more

Been going to Thor's for years. The quality and service are great. My only complaint is the cleanliness. Many times the few tables that they do have are filthy and sticky. The place would be a lot more enjoyable if you could sit and eat without sticking to the seat. read more

Great paninis for sure, but its the pizza that has me coming back. You'll often find daily creations that defy the norm of 'pizza by the slice'. Always a veggie one for the herbivores, something for the meat lovers, and every now and then a swirl. Make sure to check out one of my favorite lunch spots in town! read more

The pizza is good for the price and it is quick. You can get it by the slice which is convenient.

Pizza is great at Thors don't get me wrong- except I'm now finding myself avoiding it all together because of the service. The manager there is very snarky and rude and for this reason I will no longer provide them with my business. read more

My husband and I picked up a pizza here to-go while vacationing near Nelson. We got the Ceres' Pride and it was delicious! The mozzarella tasted noticeably better than any pizza I had ever had before (or any mozzarella in any other dish!). They must make it there regularly because it was just so fresh! They were also very generous with the toppings, which I love. The only thing I didn't love was the crust, which I thought was a little bit tough. It wasn't exactly bad crust, it just wasn't on par with everything else, which was top notch. We both agreed that we would definitely visit again next time we were in town, though. The staff were really friendly and the overall vibe of the place was relaxed and vibrant. It's definitely worth checking out! read more

Pretty darn good! I make it a point to try local pizza spots whenever I travel, and I'm happy with my choice :) As a note, I got a couple pepperoni slices from the pre cooked section, I can only imagine that if it was a pie made just for me it would have been even better! Thanks, Thor Pizza, service and food is on point! read more

Very disappointing. Lackluster offerings at premium prices. Marguerite flatbread unrecognizable. Cold, dirty, and disorganized. Nelson BC has many great eateries. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

A good slice can be hard to come by but this place is doing it right. Good selection of pizzas and calzones to choose from, not expensive, good sizes. I had the daily special and it was excellent, really good crust. Quick and friendly service. Looking forward to ordering some of there pizzas but I'll no doubt be back for a slice soon as well. read more

The best pizza in the kootenays! Small resteraunt but the service is quick and personal. Always a good selection of food and drinks. The crust is one of the best partsnif the pizza. Not sure what they do but the crust has a powdery sweetness to it. Good pizza, can sit inside or outside however inside is very small and difficult to get around when busy. read more

I haven't been to Thor"s for a long time, but decided to try it again after some friends recommendation's. Well what a pleasant surprise. It was just perfect,it wasn't greasy, it wasn't too salty, and the dough was just right. I will be back for sure! read more

Available for late night pizza. Friendly staff. Had a delicious 10" BBQ pizza for $15. Not much room to eat but we had take-out. Definitely a place to satisfy a pizza craving! read more

Thank you for teaching for us about the best pizza! Phenomenal! Best pizza in the Kootenays if not globally! Keep it up Thor's. You can customize your pizza, too! Great stuff! read more

We live here in town and visited Thors occasionally for their Pizza and it is not bad. But we will never ever go there again after the receiving the most unprofessional, rudest service I have ever come across. I told what I presume to be the owner what I thought which quickly turned into an argument, my wife and 2 children ended up just walking out. I know most chefs are hot heads but he should never ever deal with the public. There is a multitude of good lunch places in town, it's well worth passing by this one. El Paso across the street is awesome, if you want Pizza go to Itza or Leo's. read more

Really good pizza, panni's and so forth. Take out slices aren't as good as take home pizza. Pizza is on the pricy side but worth it!

I moved away from Nelson about 7 years ago. Thors was awesome back then! More unique sauces and home made style ingredients. The two pizza I had today was just like everywhere else, ok but not worth a special trip. What happened? read more

Possibly the best pizza in the west koots. Pizza by the slice / calzones are fantastic. The price is excellent. Great friendly staff. The kids favourite pizza hands down. Highly recommend Thor's pizza. read more

One star for wanting to actually accommodate all of the picky eaters out there. You can get what you want however you want and no attitude to go with it. Where Thor's missed the mark for me was that it was just another pizza with nothing really special about it. The Thai chicken pizza was not even close to Thai and the chicken was few and very far between. I know the selection in Nelson is limited but the pizza here really is not any different than Panago. read more
