    Absolutely horrendous service department. Avoid this dealership at all costs. Customer service has gone completely downhill.

No problem I became present in a car that is leased with my card from this very location. But I'll be damned if she didn't find another reason not to rent me the truck. My license isn't valid, which hasn't been a problem in the past and shouldn't be one now, especially given that I'm renting a car from them, and have had someone else go pay for me several times before. For a person moving this adds nothing but unneeded stress to an already stressful occasion. Definitely won't be going to the Nikki Minaj look alike at this location again(not meant as an insult, she actually looked a bit like Nikki and Nikki is a beautiful woman).

While Car2Go has been…read moregood for quick trips around town, once you need the vehicle for more than a few hours it becomes less then ideal in its pricing, and a proper car rental is required. The reason I do like Budget is because they are open on Sundays, when a lot of rental places are closed and will require you to drop off either after hours or on a Monday which screws up a typical Monday schedule. Beyond being open on Sundays, I have easy to meet needs when I rent a car. 1) Accept my online reservation 2) Have a car when I show up that matches my needs and requests 3) Not overcharge me or try and nickle and dime me later They did well on all fronts, and when the car I reserved was a little smaller in the storage capacity then I decided I wanted when I arrived, so for a mere $5 upgrade I was able to get a class up in size which I'm totally happy I did as I then got the added bonuses of XM radio, a moon roof, and those cameras that make it easier when backing up. I actually asked for this upgrade, there was no hard sell. And when I declined the insurance (my credit card offers car rental insurance) and GPS rental there was no rebuttals or objection handling. They simply said okay and continued processing the order. It was a rather seamless pickup and drop off experience. $78 for 48 hours (pickup Friday at 5pm, returned Sunday by 5pm) with unlimited KM's. It served me well, and I'll likely use this location again in the future.

At the time, their customer service was fairly good and so were their deals - so it seemed like a good idea. How times have changed! My lease was coming to an end last week and the whole experience of wrapping everything up was a giant pain in the patootie. When I first called about wrapping everything up several months ago, it was super difficult to extract any info...but I eventually gleaned it was too early to do anything. So I went back last month, got everything sorted...which included having to really fight against "signing up" with them again. I eventually just told them I was giving up cars and going TTC-only in order to stop the sales pitch...which isn't true, I'm just leasing from a dealership this time (whose customer service is the best I've ever seen...that review will get 5 stars!). The new guy handling my account was the quintessential slimy car salesman...he'd ask me questions to seem interested and then interrupt me to tell me something awesome about himself. He also kept trying to put me at ease "as a woman" (yes, he said that) which just made me more pissed off since he couldn't have been more condescending about it. I know cars, I know business...who cares if I'm a woman or not...just answer my questions. And somehow, every single decision or conversation topic always led back to a discussion of his golf game. Good lord. Last week they were supposed to call me on Thursday to let me know the amount owing so I could wrap everything up. I requested several times for them to call Thursday since I was out of town Friday. So of course, no call from anyone until I was already out of town. So I called back first thing on Tuesday after the long weekend...to which I'm told I have to bring it in first thing next day or they'd make me pay for another month. Um...so you can take your time getting things done but I have to jump immediately? Delightful. So I requested the exact amount owing, as the quick turnaround meant shuffling money around from account to account, etc. to make sure everything was copacetic. So today I went to give back the car, hand over the keys and give them the cheque for the difference I owed them. Turns out they'd given me the complete wrong amount owing and it was actually almost $150 more! Um...what? What if I hadn't brought any extra cheques? Then I'd have to keep the car for an extra day and end up stuck paying for an extra month! No way! The guy I was dealing with was very good about it when I pointed out you can't confirm an amount with someone and then change it without telling them (my account guy wasn't able to be there as he'd decided to go golfing that afternoon instead)...and he agreed to hold the extra amount they hadn't told me about until after I get paid this week as a kindness. He at least proved to me that there are a few people there who know what customer service actually means...too bad he doesn't handle the day to day communication with customers! Having seen the quality customer service at other car dealerships, etc...I won't ever be going back to JPL again.

    These guys were great!…read more I will admit, until I actually drove off in my new truck, I was constantly bracing for a catch. After searching for weeks and being assured by my local dealers that there were absolutely no trucks available anywhere in Ontario close to what I was looking for, having Chris B. from Peplinski Leasing immediately find one for me was a quite a surprise. Were it not for the fact that I had been referred to him through an association I trust, I would have been very sceptical. With in hours of first contacting Chris, he not only found my truck, but had a lease proposal put together showing all details broken down and with the lowest prices I had seen. No messing around, we want your business prices. The day I picked up the truck, last minute thoughts ran through my head . Would my "new" truck have 1000km on it? Was it a demo? Fall off the delivery truck? Did someone test drive it through a mud pit? And there it was. Absolutely spotless. Plastic still on the seats, 25km on the odometer, all the promised options and that awesome new truck smell. The quality of service Chris provided was absolutely terrific. From taking the time to answer my endless questions, to driving out to pick me up when I over shot their office by 20 minutes and my ride had to leave.
