This hotel was our base for our trip to Oslo.
It was located within ten minutes walk from the main Oslo Station. Bus and tram stops were just one block away.
Rooms were compact but when we moved away from the street we got a much larger room but more importantly quieter. The street facing rooms were above or across the street from the bars/restaurants.
Security was good with key card access needed on the elevators and to open the gate for the staircase.
Bed and pillows were the right softness for us and we woke up rested.
The breakfast buffet was large with lots of options. Breads, cereals, cold and hot dishes, many types of dairy and dairy free milks, gluten free, fresh fruits and a large Nespresso coffee machine. I especially enjoyed the smoked mackerel and salmon which were the best from all of the hotel buffets in our Scandinavia trip.
Nespresso, tea and water were available all day in the lobby and lounge. There also was a gym onsite but didn't get to use it.
Front desk service was very friendly and so helpful. They accommodated our room change easily and helped arrange a breakfast to go when we had an early departure.
Would stay here again. read more
