It was quite a boutique for an American like me. The room had a minimalistic interior that was very chic and contemporary. Loved the picture of the crying woman and the black/white spotted wall http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/rica-victoria-hotel-oslo-oslo?select=_GteKUXq5Hx0ZTzzAkUW9g#bXjle-Linp_GH5RiCvpEPA
4 minute walk to the harbor, Nobel Peace Prize Center, Fort, parliament, shopping and easy access to all transportation. Centered for the busybody.
Complimentary breakfast starts at 6:30 during the weekdays and 7 a.m. during the weekends. Breakfast at Rica Victoria Hotel Oslo obviously included a waffle maker like everywhere else; but not limited to just the following: fruits, cheese, kaviar, plenty of fresh veggies, various boiled eggs, scrambled omelets, meats, fish, various cheese, yogurt, cereal, loaves of various bread, fresh juices, marinated cod, nuts and more....Just DAMN GRAND of a breakfast. After two days, I finally became used to their posh breakfast and didn't return for 2 more plates. hahah oh, the fat girl inside of me. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/rica-victoria-hotel-oslo-oslo?select=_GteKUXq5Hx0ZTzzAkUW9g#sDn4WaN4mTDY690vYFqoDw
Americans: FYI, almost every retail store closes on Sundays so if you want to go shopping or other activities, make sure they're open! You can leave these days for museums, parks and site visits if the location permits. read more
