I am happy with communication when the arrange was complete and when they were out for delivery. Also, I was happy how the arrangement looked like what I selected from the options. My Tia was impressed with the freshness. Sadly, on 12/19, I was told my Onkle had passed away the previous evening. I reside in CA and my Onkle resided in Buckeye; I wanted a local shop in lieu of going thru 800 number & getting an arrange from, who knows where. This flower shop was closest. I called but they were not going to be able to get the arrangement out until Monday and I wanted them delivered same day or following day. After calling around and every other shop also being busy or too far out to deliver, I succumbed to ordering flowers from this store. I ordered a dozen white long stemmed roses. I was pleasantly surprised by the text communication I received when flowers were being created, a photo of them and a text when they were out for delivery. My Tia commented how fresh the roses were and how lovely they were. I was most appreciative to hear the freshness of the flowers & my cousin sent me photo ,which matched what I ordered and received in a text. Sometimes, you wonder how true to the ad the arrange delivered was. It is such a small gesture to receive flowers when a love one passes but it is very welcomed. Visited their shop to order a custom bouquet for my wife. My first impression, this a real flower shop, not an internet order processing house. It had that wonderful flower shop fragrance. The staff was busy creating beautiful arrangements on work tables. As I explained to the person that greeted me what I had in mind, a staff member approached to show a photo of a similar arrangement that they had recently delivered. I was sold. The delivery was right on time and the bouquet exceeded my expectations. Every rose looks so fresh it's like each was just plucked from a bush. Most importantly, my wife loved the bouquet. read more

I'm embarrassed to have spent $120 on flowers that were delivered a day late and look like something you could get from a grocery store. Very poor communication as notification of the delay was to the recipient, which ruined the surprise, and not to the person sending (and paying for) the flowers. I wanted to give a local business a chance, but unfortunately cannot recommend Thompson's Flower Shop due to communication issues and overpriced, mediocre flowers. Next time I will spend half as much at Costco floral or 1800-flowers for a nicer product that is delivered on time!!! read more

I wanted to send a get well plant to my niece in Buckeye today as she was released from the hospital. After calling several places that couldn't get a nice plant delivered same day. I called Thompson. They seemed a little pricey but said their van had left and they couldn't get a plant out until next day. While still on the phone she said hey the van is still here and I can add it for delivery. Great customer service. My niece told me when she received it that the combo of plants was the best floral she has ever received and that she took note of the florist and will use them in the future. I called 2 flower shop's who were very nice but could not get delivery done that day. The 2nd one recommended Thompson's who went above and beyond from the moment they answered the phone. They understood how important the delivery was and made sure they knew exactly what I wanted & even texted me a couple of pictures on stuffed animals to add and promised to make it happen that day. They also worked their deliveries around the time they knew someone would be available to take delivery and even sent me a picture of the arrangement. I was tasked to order flowers for a funeral while traveling all week. I woke up Sunday morning in a panic because I forgot to order the flowers. To make things easy I ordered their "Designers Choice Rich Reds". They let me know while they didn't have enough to do all reds, they could add in some purples and pinks to fill in. Perfect! One of my besties lives in AZ and I'm up in WA. found Thompson's and wasn't sure cause I'd never used them and was far away. But oh my god! YES!!! They delivered an amazing bouquet and even talked to my friend on her ring to see if she wasn't home, they would come back or asked if they had a neighbor to leave them with. Terrible customer service. I put an order in to have flowers delivered to my mom 2 days prior to the day I needed. They gave me a delivery time frame of 10am to noon. The flowers were not delivered until 5pm. Then the lady over the phone stated they don't guarantee their delivery times. Then her solution for this issue is asking me if I just want to cancel my whole order on the day of my moms birthday. Then when they do deliver the flowers the guy just places them in front of the door and leaves. Then when I ask to speak to a manager she tells me the manager is on vacation and there is no one for me to talk too. Terrible customer service!!! Please don't waste your money!!! read more

I placed an order for a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my daughter who just had surgery for an ectopic pregnancy. She received a completely different arrangement than purchased. Looked more like a funeral piece, which was obviously not desired for this particular occasion. Highly dissatisfied with their response which was I had selected the designer's choice option, so it was up to the designer to put the arrangement together as they chose. I'm quite sure I was looking at the arrangement rather than the name of the arrangement. I spent $151 on flowers that saddened the recipient and disappointed the purchaser, with no recourse. With a single phone call I quickly developed a good trust and learned about her knowledge and expertise.
