I highly recommend the doctors, hygienists and administrative staff there, in particular Dr. George Stevens. I had a tooth decaying beneath its ancient crown. It was nagging me, telling me it was heading toward its nerve and about to light up my mouth in pain. It pretty much guaranteed a true challenge for any dentists. I had consulted at least 4 over 7 years. The gnarly look of it coupled with my high dental anxiety caused them to postpone or flat out declined addressing it. Not Dr. Stevens. He made it a priority in treating my teeth. He provided all the different approaches to its repair. With great care and expertise, and sans pain! he set about the arduous task of saving and restoring it. Now it looks amazing and, as importantly, feels wonderful. There is more work ahead, and of course, I will entrust it to Dr. Stevens. Also, it is worth noting: the office is tucked up in the lush environment of historic Marlborough Street, one of the last businesses allowed there giving it a sense of home that is welcoming, relaxing and comforting. It is a place of generational familial pride and heartfelt patient care. I happily join all the others who have praise for Dental Arts of Boston. Thank you. Professor V (RET)

Dr. Kwon carved out time to see her even though she was not his patient. With great skill and compassion, Dr. Kwon calmed my wife down, took the necessary steps to steps to ensure her healing was without serious complications that required treatment, and proceeded to check in on her through texts and calls over the next several days and weeks. I highly recommend Dr. Kwon for his skill, attention to detail, and most of all for the compassion he has for his patients. Brookline Dental Center is lucky to have him as part of their staff. BTW-My wife is a nurse and I am a physician. We appreciate the importance of trust between a caregiver and a patient, that the caregiver will do their best to help a patient get well. Dr. Kwon excels at the most important aspect of healthcare, building and maintaining that trust.

I would say the care is excellent, but the prices are not. I broke a front tooth, so I needed…read moreimmediate care, and Dr. Kosmidis took me right away the same day. Within a week he had an appliance for me to wear that improved my appearance. After extensive research, this appliance (Essix) should cost maximum $450 and should include the office visit and fitting. I was charged a whopping $1676, more than three times the average cost. My insurance covered none of it. I am taking my business elsewhere because he quoted me a price of $7000 to fix the tooth and even suggested full mouth reconstruction, which no dentist had ever mentioned before in my life. Unless you have money to burn, I would suggest finding another dentist.

I've been a patient for three years now and I've only had good experiences. Sherice at the front desk is always helpful with reminding me of appointments and answering my insurance/billing questions. Vanessa is a good hygienist. She and the other hygienists have convinced me to start flossing for the first time in my life. Their office is convenient to my office in Kendall Square and with an early morning or lunch time appointment, I don't miss any work. They have been ready for me on-time for each of my visits. Dr. Kosmidis has filled two of my cavities and installed one crown. (I think it's called a crown... maybe a "cap"... whatever) Each procedure as well as all my cleanings have gone well. I'm not sure what else to review about the dentist. Oh, he has a cool CAD/CAM mill that he used to fabricate my cap (crown?). As an engineer I enjoyed watching the machine create my new tooth part from a white block of ceramic.

I went to Dr. Morreale hoping he could help me with a locked jaw and some additional TMJ issues I'd…read morebeen experiencing. He really sold himself as an expert in TMJ issues and told me that he had a treatment plan with a 99% success rate in resolving TMJ issues, but it would cost $5,000 out of pocket for a year of treatment and access to his expertise. He told me we would work things like getting me into physical therapy, getting a sleep study, and possible orthodontic work once my symptoms decreased, and to be honest, I felt like he was pressuring me a but to agree to sign up for the treatment plan. I was desperate and foolishly agreed to pay this amount of money. His office helped me schedule an MRI, gave me two appliances, and told me that he would be able to unlock my jaw after the MRI gave them more information. I managed to unlock my jaw on my own before the MRI and had one follow up appointment with him to go over the MRI results. After this he canceled my next follow up appointment and did not reach out to schedule anything else. I scheduled another appointment and told him I was considering getting orthodontic treatment done in hopes of decreasing my TMJ symptoms, since I have malocclusion issues. His office scanned me for Invisalign and told me his office would reach out in a couple weeks to go over the scans. It's been almost four months and he has not reached out. I feel like he really oversold what he would do for me, as I was told that he'd work with me to relieve my TMJ symptoms and make sure my jaw does not lock again. I do not feel like the very limited work he did for me was worth the $5,000 I paid him, and I deeply regret giving him that much money only for him to not really do that much for me. For anyone considering working with him to resolve TMJ issues, I suggest finding a different dentist. While you might have to wait longer to get an appointment with other TMJ dentists, it's most likely worth the wait and won't result in you wasting thousands of dollars. TLDR: Don't waste $5,000 here hoping to resolve your TMJ issues.
