Dreadful practice that acts like they don't want new patients. I emailed them to book an…read moreappointment, they asked me to call. I called and they looked up my email in the system, took down my insurance card info but couldn't confirm whether or not they take my insurance (which is a major provider), and promised to call back to confirm. Didn't ever receive a call back and have been calling for days to no avail - no one answers the phone. I called a different practice who was able to confirm they take my insurance and book an appointment for me within minutes. It's a shame as Quality Dental is much closer to my home, but it's not worth committing to a practice that clearly doesn't care about its patients and do the things they say they're going to do.

Dr. Kwon carved out time to see her even though she was not his patient. With great skill and compassion, Dr. Kwon calmed my wife down, took the necessary steps to steps to ensure her healing was without serious complications that required treatment, and proceeded to check in on her through texts and calls over the next several days and weeks. I highly recommend Dr. Kwon for his skill, attention to detail, and most of all for the compassion he has for his patients. Brookline Dental Center is lucky to have him as part of their staff. BTW-My wife is a nurse and I am a physician. We appreciate the importance of trust between a caregiver and a patient, that the caregiver will do their best to help a patient get well. I highly recommend the doctors, hygienists and administrative staff there, in particular Dr. George Stevens. I had a tooth decaying beneath its ancient crown. It was nagging me, telling me it was heading toward its nerve and about to light up my mouth in pain. It pretty much guaranteed a true challenge for any dentists. I had consulted at least 4 over 7 years. The gnarly look of it coupled with my high dental anxiety caused them to postpone or flat out declined addressing it. Not Dr. Stevens. He made it a priority in treating my teeth. He provided all the different approaches to its repair. With great care and expertise, and sans pain! he set about the arduous task of saving and restoring it. Now it looks amazing and, as importantly, feels wonderful. There is more work ahead, and of course, I will entrust it to Dr. Stevens. Also, it is worth noting: the office is tucked up in the lush environment of historic Marlborough Street, one of the last businesses allowed there giving it a sense of home that is welcoming, relaxing and comforting. I've been in twice so far, and both times featured minimal waits and immense care by the hygienists and Dr. Andrew Schwartz-Hinds. Admittedly, I was nervous going into my first visit, only because I was quite overdue on dental cleanings, but the staff made me feel comfortable and got me up to speed in a comfortable manner. Since my visits, I've been able to make significantly noticeable progress on my dental health. I'd also like to point out that they made sure to confirm my insurance details prior to my first visit, sent frequent text updates, and when I arrived for my first appointment, they had a mostly pre-filled form for me to go through. And once I did that, no more forms. This was such a welcome change from other similar settings where the same paperwork gets filled again and again, or even worse the insurance details aren't confirmed until it's too late. Overall, I strongly recommend this practice and Dr. Schwartz-Hinds' team.
