I used to work in a physician's office, and I have seen how demanding and ridiculous patients can be. Doctors cannot break the rules of medicine or go outside of the insurance restrictions to refill prescriptions, just give a patient what they want, or see patients who are behind in their payments. Dr. Truong (and every single one of her staff) has been kind to me. They are all races and backgrounds and ages, so the discrimination accusation below is unwarranted. I am white. Dr. Truong is Vietnamese. Some of the staff are Hispanic or African American. I have gone to Dr. Truong for only two years, but two African American friends of mine been going to her for years and never had any complaints. It is slanderous to make that accusation. How a patient speaks to staff can get them dismissed from a medical office, and I applaud any physician who stands behind their staff. Since the pandemic, people have become more demanding and just plain awful. Try working a front desk in a medical office for one day and you will be buying flowers for these ladies to compliment them on their skill and patience. Grow up, be kind, and be a patient person.

A man then came into the waiting room and said, "Cindy, you didn't write your name well -- how were we supposed to find you?" I explained that the writing space was too small, and if there had been more room, I could've written my name more clearly. Instead of understanding, he began arguing with me -- and he was the same person who was about to draw my blood. At that point, I felt uncomfortable and unsafe, so I decided to leave. His rude attitude made me worry he might not handle the procedure gently or professionally. I believe they should provide larger stickers for names so patients can write clearly -- and so no one feels disrespected or mistreated. I'll be getting my blood drawn elsewhere.

EVERYTIME we have come into this office, either for myself or the two little girls 11 months and almost 3, we have had to wait for a minimum of 45 minutes once we are in a room before we see the doctor for all of MAYBE 5 minutes. This is not acceptable, especially when others come in after we have arrived and they are leaving or have left before we are even seen. I make sure that we are EARLY for every appointment. We will be changing to a physician's office where they WANT to keep their patients, not one that is this sloppy, slow and rude. ALL our appointments have been cancelled, insurance has been notified that we will be changing providers and why. The "intake interview" is done remotely, by a person who mumbles and does not use English as their main language, when they have been told at the very beginning of the "interview, that the adult is deaf. We have been in this office or a minimum of 8 times for myself and the two little girls and we have NEVER had a wait less than 45 minutes once we are stuck in a room. On my last visit for prescription refills, the blood work took three techs to draw blood when they were told that I have veins that collapse, and that they need to use a very small needle along with the urine sample being lost. The bruises that are left look like I have been beat up. The doctor who isn't a doctor but a PA, rushes in and out, there is no time to ask questions and blood results are always off the wall. I am an RN, I am not some patient that buys anything that I am told. I also see an oncologist, when blood work are never the same between the two visits I will take the results from the oncologist before I am concerned what this report is saying to be honest. If you are in urgent need for a provider, keep looking, this is probably not where you want to be. I have ended up taking my children to Cook's ER when I can not get any assistance from this office.

The Dr. herself is not bad, but she has the worst staff ever. Very unprofessional and has no knowledge. I am disappointed in myself that I actually came back here the last time even though I promised myself I would find a new family Dr. The last two times I went I was not even scheduled with the Dr, I got scheduled with the PA. She was not bad either but she seems rather new. The PA was originally going to refer me to a rheumatologist, changed her mind and said she was going to refer me to an ophthalmologist. I called back a few days later and asked to be referred to the rheumatologist instead because I did not want to go to an ophthalmologist for my condition. It took me SEVERAL calls and attempts to get them to refer me to a rheumatologist and they kept saying I do not need to go there and refused to give me information on the Dr. they refer patients out to. I went back and called my optometrist who told me to go to my PCP because she was not able to refer me out to a rheumatologist. After my optometrist contacted Dr. Dinh's staff, they lied and said they already referred me out to a rheumatologist and gave me all the information I needed already. About two weeks later I get a call from a referring office asking me if I would like to schedule my appointment. I went to the appointment and everything, come to find out- I went to an OPTOMETRIST (partially my fault because I assumed it was the rheumatologist)! I did not get referred to an ophthalmologist OR rheumatologist. I did not need to go to another optometrist, I already had one! This was a complete mess and was highly unprofessional of them. At this point I am not sure if I am even going to get referred to a rheumatologist anymore! I would call them, but half of her staff does not know what they're talking about. I really did want to like this office because the Dr. is not bad... but it is hard to. P.S. both of my siblings and parents come here- they all had bad experiences and bad complaints about the staff!
