I usually don't give one star reviews, but if I have to walk out in an establishment, I feel it…read moredeserves one. Front staff left me with such a poor experience I left. I truly cannot comment on the actual pratice just the front staff. I arrived early for my scheduled appointment and was asked for a copy of my insurance card which I had left my desk. The younger first lady on the left with colorful keyboard was the person who I encountered. (I say this after working in medical offices for 8 years but having an at least pleasant or neutral demeanor was always a requirement in any place I worked as the first impression and representation of the Doctors.) I let the lady know that I had left the card at home. I did have a secondary insurance card. She was very adamant that I needed the physical card for the first one or emailed digital. Problem solving- I asked her if I could give her the information verbally, and she had said no, she already had it from my referral, but she needed the physical card. (As somebody who has billed insurance also 8 years I don't understand this) I asked would it be possible for me when I ran home to send a picture of it and again response of no. The choice was bill my 2nd insurance (immediately would decline since its not primary and would need to refile.) Or come back. I then was able to pull up the website and show all of my information directly coming from the insurance website. She then said she still needed the digital card. I showed her where I pressed the digital card button and though it doesn't look like a physical card it has all the info on it. The same info that matches what my PCP already sent... The second older, more polished lady on my right sat down while we were discussing. The younger girl kind of seemed like she was asking her advice / complaining that I hadn't brought my things. She said well can I sent it when I get home? I said yes, I had offered that. The younger girl said a firm NO indicating I was lying to the colleague and I have never given that open in the 3 options and ideas I had given. I told the newer colleague she was kind (and she was, no issues) but I wasn't going stay after being accussed of lying. I left.

I have been seeing Dr. Jaecel Shah at Texas ENT Specialists for more than 5 years now. He has…read moreperformed several surgical procedures on me over that time, in addition to regular nasal, ear and throat issues. In all that time, I have never had a bad experience with him, his PA, his nursing staff or front office personnel (some of which have changed over the years.). If you want an ENT that takes the time to listen to the patients concerns and explains things in terms the patient can easily understand, Dr. Shah is the best. My opinion is not based on a single visit but on too many to count over the years. I highly recommend him.
