When we returned for mom's extraction, our questions were waved away and told "...it won't happen." My mother is a disabled senior citizen and I carefully informed them of her low tolerance to pain and high tolerance to pain meds. I chose to get lunch while she was having the procedure done out of consideration for her inability to eat afterward. They were done before I could finish lunch...and when I picked her up she was in so much pain she refused to talk about the details until the next day. "Dr" Longwe was brutal with the needle, jabbing her repeatedly, rushing to numb her and not waiting for anything to take effect. Instead of injecting some anesthetic and working it around, then gently releasing more, he savagely shoved the needle to the bone, removed it and jabbed again. Mom's eyes are black and swollen almost shut and her face looks deformed and is black and blue. She actually asked him if he was really a vet, used to working on only animals that can't complain. In my opinion, senior abuse was visited upon my mother and truthfully, I believe she was assaulted and there should be charges brought against this man for what he has done to my mother. If they can't manage to do something as simple as canceling an appointment, I definitely wouldn't allow them to "practice" their dentistry on me. They are refusing to refund me despite exhausting the appeal process with the decision upheld that they owe me a refund. This practice has held my money hostage for almost an entire year after promising "this will be resolved by the end of the month" since OCTOBER. This is insurance fraud. Definitely call your insurance company and double check their work, they are either incompetent or knowingly committing insurance fraud at the expense of their patients.
