Upper left molar above #19 was deemed as a "failed root canal". This tooth was also the result of dentist that did #19. Recurring tiny abscess on side of gum there. I found this place when Dr. Misto closed and Dr Kim is fabulous! I love this new dentist. Dr Kim is all around great with adults and children. This office does everything from routine cleaning cavities, prevention; deep scraping, Zoom Whitening, implants and crowns, Dt Kim is a also a reserve military dentist so he accepts truncate - he has the latest greatest state of the art equipment and I am 100% happy here. He's tucked in back of a strip mall on Garrisonville TD but he's is very well worth finding. The entire staff is always cheerful and gentle with cleaning. Had my first experience here today. Got an appointment for the same day due to a cancellation. In and out in an hour for 2 fillings. Xray was quick. Insurance was done quickly and the copay was reasonable! The dental assistant was kind and explained very well what was happening. The dentist was great! I am deaf and wear hearing aids which I had to remove for the procedure and he did excellently with his requests without getting frustrated with my inability to hear verbal commands very well. All in all, I would very much recommend this dentist and this office. Its clean, quiet and peaceful. The bright white interior leaves you feeling refreshed and comfortable. read more

I recently moved to Stafford and decided to look for a dentist in Stafford. Therefore, I goggled and read reviews for all dentists in Stafford who were ranked highest by reviewers. I read at least 20 of the most-recent reviews for the top 10 high-ranked dentists in Stafford. Unique Dental Care was one of the two dental offices in Stafford without a single negative comment by reviewers. I prayed about it and randomly chose one of the two and it was this office. However, I ended up going to the other office because I probably didn't submit my appointment request properly on Unique's website and they never got it. After getting disappointed with cleaning in the other office, I called Unique Dental again and the affable and extremely professional Ms. Evelyn answered my call. She took all my information, demonstrating not only exemplary customer service skills, but also impressive knowledge and passion in what she does. I felt like I was talking to an old friend or relative of mine. Ms. Evelyn epitomizes what good customer service is all about. Not only did she send a text reminder message, she also called a day before the appointment. On arrival, I was completely mesmerized by the dental office. This is the neatest and most-upscale dental office I have ever known. Having travelled to 25 countries, even most internationally acclaimed 5-star hotels would look filthy compared to this dental office. They have a fur-looking rug at the entrance and the floors are amazingly clean and shiny. I was received by the friendly Ms. Evelyn and there was no paper work to do because they had already sent me a text message to complete everything online. She asked me to relax on an immaculate-looking long sofa and within 1 minute, another angel showed up - hygienist Ms. Vanessa. Ms. Vanessa is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and a decent soul. This office is not only the cleanest I have ever known, but it is also has the most 21-century - with sophisticated equipments. The chairs are immaculate; and the x-rays are done from the comfort of your chair - not in another room. Ms. Vanessa knows her craft and she will clean your teeth while engaging you in a heart-felt conversation that makes you forget that you are in a dental office, while doing a thorough job, without pain. She is a beautiful caring soul. I leaned that they all say a word of prayer before they begin work. This is a God-fearing group that will make you feel loved. Dr. Kim then walks in. They are all young-looking in this office, hence the vibrancy and the embrace of modern technology. Polite, soft-spoken Dr, Kim is impressively knowledgeable and a God-fearing man who goes on mission tours to provide dental services to the poor in Third-World countries. That speaks volumes of this dentist. Impressively, he isn't just some dentist showing up to talk about the sophisticated stuff. He actually cleaned my teeth and every minute he kindly asked: "are you OK." Since he is a God-fearing man, he demonstrates humility all through, even as he shares impressive dental knowledge. My husband had a horrible experience with this Dr. My husband and I moved here last month and needed to find a dentist. My husband had a cap done but was now experiencing a lot of pain, so he saw the Dr. on a Saturday and scheduled a root canal for that Monday. My husband needs to be pre medicated before the appointments, and after seeing the Dr. on Saturday they assured us they called in the medication to find out they didn't. Monday is now here and we have to call the Dr. to have them send the medication to the pharmacy in time for the procedure. When it came time for the procedure, they decided to put a rubber dam on my husband to do his root canal, my husband is very claster phobic and there was no warning before hand. They told him they will not do it without one, and didn't offer alternative methods or medications to help him calm down so he left. I called several doctors including our Dr. from another state to get their opinion, which they suggested Xanax before the procedure. So we called back the doctor to reschedule and that he will take Xanax before the procedure, abs his answer to my husband was to go somewhere else because he wasted his time. This Dr. was not considerate of my husbands needs, and didn't offer any alternatives to make him feel at ease. I wouldn't recommend this dentist at all. read more

Dr. Kim and his staff are very professional. I have suffered from TMJ for several years and never was able to find adequate treatment or medication. Dr. Kim suggested that I try Botox around the jaw area. I always believed Botox was for cosmetic reasons. I agreed with the treatment and am very pleased with the results. My jaw is more relaxed and the constant pain I feel has greatly diminished. I am so very thankful to Dr. Kim. He went beyond the usual to alleviate my suffering. read more

That is what sets this practice apart from the rest.  Dr. Kim is personable, knowledgeable and meticulous in his work. I was nervous to have my root canal, so I had been putting it off for a little while. Plus, who really wants to spend the money when it isn't an emergency? Dr. Kim, Claudia and Jessica (whom is no longer there but her replacement Amanda is equally as sweet) all are such an amazing team. I've had such dentist anxiety stemming from a horrible experience in my teenage years that I've admittedly have neglected my oral care because of. I'm so proud to say that after a year of receiving treatment and care from Dr. Kim, I no longer fear the dentist as long as it's Dr. Kim and his assistant Claudia working on me. You can tell they genuinely care and nothing ever feels forced. Very patient as well. I can't wait until acupuncture is offered which he is currently working on adding to his services. As someone who is more into natural / holistic approaches - I can def appreciate that! The office itself is small with Dr. Kim being the only dentist, but I imagine that's what helps keep the cost down as his pricing is very competitive! I never have a problem scheduling appts and have even taken my kids from their pediatric dentist to now being seen here. That's how much I trust them and how patient they are. Oh, and the facility is absolutely gorgeous. Very state of the art. Very bright, clean and serene! The only thing that would make this place better is if he served complimentary wine!! LOL! For someone who has to take valium just to walk through the door, Dr. Kim made me feel very much at ease. He was thorough in explaining procedures and options and very considerate to my unique needs. I had several crowns done and also an emergency root canal on one of those teeth with a crown, which was extremely difficult but he made me feel relaxed about it. My husband had an implant done and said if he ever needed one done again, he'd definitely go to Dr. Kim. We had to change dentists due to location and will miss him very much. read more
