His teachers are so incredibly kind and are truly passionate about working with kids. As a parent who was a little nervous sending their kid to preschool for the first time, the level of calmness and kindness we experience on the first day was incredible. We love it that kids get exposure to nature, learn about daily life routines, and life skills from sharing to kindness. We couldn't be happier with our kid going to school here.

Two years later, we are still as happy as we were when she started! They are outside every day, walking, exploring, jumping, climbing. The education they provide is age appropriate and through fun learning experiences. The classrooms are mixed ages (2.5-5) and I think it is great for their learning environment. The younger children look up to the older children and the older children learn patience with the younger children and become quite nurturing towards them. The teachers treat the children with respect. They are so engaged with them. They have their own garden and compost. The school has expanded since my daughter started in 2014 (they now have 3 classrooms) but it still has a small feel. If you're looking for a play based preschool in the Highlands, look no farther. My daughter has one more year to enjoy at NinaBees before kindergarten, and her little brother will follow in her footsteps to attend NinaBees once he meets the requirements to do so- minimum of 2.5 years and potty trained. It is located on the first floor of the Highlands United Methodist Church building but does not have a religious affiliation.

Let's face it, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, and no daycare is really going to be good enough for your first child. Or can it be? Inspiration Preschool answered that question with a resounding YES for us. As soon as we found IP and our daughter was old enough (must be at least 2.5 years old), we took her out of the nanny share and enrolled her at Inspiration. It's a small "school" with a nice backyard. I put school in quotes because really, it's daycare but very much in a learning environment. During the regular school year, each month is a different learning focus. For example, they focused on rainbows and colors in April, things that grow in May. There is a reading area, too, with tons of books to suit the ages of the children. The kids learn lots of songs, too. I was so pleasantly surprised when my daughter came home from school and taught me songs that they sung that day. They learn the alphabet, counting, days of the week, the calendar...the list goes on. So yeah, it's a "school", and my daughter gets good care, too. All of the staff is top notch. You can see the love and care they have for all of the kids on each teacher's face. Inspiration isn't just teachers, either. it's a community where parents not only know each teacher, but they know every child that goes there and every parent of those children. Everyone gets together on occasion through events put on by the school and/or other families. They even recently did a field trip to The Children's Museum! The main thing that I love about Inspiration is that the kids play outside, at least twice a day, EVERY day. It doesn't matter what the weather is (well, within reason of course), they go outside and expend that energy that only 2.5 - 5 year olds have in spades. The backyard is so conducive to this, too. There are 5 -7 different areas back there where the kids can get their play on. My favorite is the musical area that features pots & pans to make "music" with and a big chime set that the kids can hit with various kitchen utensils. My daughter now looks forward to school everyday that she goes, and even asks if she is going to school on weekends. When we pick her up, she doesn't want to leave. She's made some wonderful friends, too. So have her parents! Thanks, Inspiration Preschool!

I stumbled upon Inspiration Preschool and I immediately took my 3 year old son out of the school he was in and enrolled him at Inspiration. The staff is lovely, friendly, warm and inspiring. The setting is quaint, warm and bright. When you walk in, it is just a wonderful place to be, and you know it. After one week of being at this school, my son, who was not interested in learning his ABC's and 123's comes home singing every day. He is interested in learning and engaging, where, he was not before. When I pick him up at night, he doesn't want to leave. When he was at the other schools, he was crying before I even picked him up, every single day - and never wanted to go to school. Now, he gets up before ME in the morning, gets himself dressed, and lines up by the door... saying "Take me to school Mommy!" I am so thrilled to have found this wonderful school and my son will be here until he moves into Kindergarten. It has a family feeling and a very supportive culture. I could not be happier.

We only stopped going there because the commute was too long from our house/work and the Denver traffic was just too much. It was a tough decision. We absolutely loved our time there. The outdoor time was great too. The kids get plenty of time to be outside. Gordon and the gang do a great job. Their parent education nights were extremely informative as well. The care team here has taken excellent care of our children and prepared them for kindergarten with a effective pre-K curriculum. We have seen continuous literacy development with both kids. All of the teachers have degrees in early childhood education (or equivalent) and it shows. I have always had total confidence in the quality of care at this facility. In addition, David and Allison have fostered a genuine community here...we were there from the start and watched it develop organically. Unlike other daycares we have dealt with, we have seen limited turnover and we have seen some truly great caregivers stay around for the long haul - of particular note are Ms. Eileen, Ms. Liz, Ms. Chelsea, Ms. Alexis and others. When COVID came along, the school adapted thoughtfully to reduce risks and control spread of illness. They provided daily communications regarding active testing, health department guidance, etc. The result was everyone in our family stayed healthy for a year even with daily attendance of a 4-year-old. The facility was completely remodeled before opening and retains the character of the previous use (a school gym). Big windows are everywhere and the building is maintained in a very clean and secure manner. They have a big outdoor play area that is also very secure. I am confused how any reasonable person could complain about this building. We will miss this community when our daughter heads off for summer camp and kindergarten next month. This environment is hard to beat from a quality and value perspective.

We were informed…read moreby David (owner of the franchise location) that the waiting list would be approximately six months. Eagerly, we paid the $150 deposit and looked forward to enrolling our children. However, 12 months later, there was no progress on the waiting list, and we were still told we were "about six months out." At this rate, our kids will be in high school before they're admitted We connected with other local families who shared similar experiences and assumed the school was simply overwhelmed. However, we discovered one family, who happened to be friends with David, and they experienced virtually no wait time to enroll their 3-year-old in the school. Regrettably, we lost our $150 deposit and decided to move on. One point to consider is that the owners, Allison and David, had no early childhood education experience prior to opening this franchise location. On the surface, it appears they run the school more like a business than a service to the community. Think twice before handing over your $150 deposit.
