My son was dealing with all kinds of behavioral issues at his other school, huge classroom and was constantly coming home with serious incident reports (head hit on a metal bar after being pushed off the play-set, cut my scissors in between his fingers, etc). My two kids are so loved here, they bounce out of the house to go to school, my son's behavior was changed for the better in almost a month, my daughter is thriving. Before she started, we had a "Get to know you" meeting with her 2 teachers, where they really wanted to know our daughter's preferences, personality, challenges etc. Ever since they have been so pro-active in staying in touch with us and providing the best experience for this 3 year old. It is a Head Start Preschool so all foster children can attend for free Monday-Thursday. Her class is so diverse there are 6 different languages that are spoken. I would highly recommend this school. The facility is clean and the outdoor area, spacious.

I understand that mistakes happen and things can be inadvertently overlooked, but I find it to be a glaring red flag that no one has yet to reach out to us. I think that speaks to the overall lack of accountability, communication, and organization of this facility. My wife received multiple text reminders - up to the morning of the tour, confirming the appointment. Trying to shift the blame to us to discredit this review is more telling than any tour experience.

Their approach is to "talk" to the kids and have them fill out a "Reflection Form", which clearly accomplishes nothing--because the same kids repeat the same bullying behavior the very next week. To make matters worse, the tuition at ISD is incredibly expensive, and for that price, you'd expect a safe and supportive environment. Instead, the teachers' only response is to send emails to the parents, as if that will solve the issue. It feels like a performative, "Nutella Culture" approach: soft on the surface but lacking any real action or accountability. As a parent, it's heartbreaking to see children being mistreated while the administration turns a blind eye to the root of the problem. More and more families are pulling their kids out of ISD, and I'm beginning to understand why. If you care about your child's well-being and a safe school environment, I would look elsewhere.

He has mastered using utensils, adjusted to being either other care providers, and has so much to say (in his own way lol) at the end of his days.
