No... not the kind with teen idols or the hang in there kitten. These posters are on the lines of looking like vintage art posters in the genre of classic rock, maps, and retro travel. They also have curated gifts with a strong local influence. The vibe was quite relaxed with vintage rock playing on the store's speaker, clean organized setup, and welcoming staff. I could easily drain my wallet shopping here. I am a huge fan of vintage looking maps and travel posters. I also was quite enamored with The Who's 2000 album cover art signed by John Entwistle's himself. John is The Who bassist and artist that drew the album cover. I recently received two old chairs that my grandma has had in her home since long before I was born. They needed to be reupholstered and fixed up a bit. Although price conscious, I was more concerned that the job be done right. I wanted a quality job because the old fashioned quality of the "bones" of the chair deserved it and also the chairs are special to me because of their sentimentality. I met Gil in his shop in his garage and we chatted for a long time. He told me stories about working as an upholsterer in the 40's and 50's and beyond. He told me about when the industry switched to staple guns from hammers which made me laugh a bit. He's been working in the same field for decades, which gave me confidence in his abilities. We picked up the chairs today and are thrilled with the result. The leather he ordered is terrific quality. (Full grain, semi aniline dyed). They look and feel great and I'm hopeful that they will hold up for another couple generations.

Save yourself the headache and use George Reed quarry instead, this place is a joke. The service…read morebetween George Reed and here is night and day. Ordered 30 tons of large rock from these jokers and they're very inconsistent with rock sizing. Looks like IMO someone just took a jackhammer attached to an excavator / track loader to break up the rock and they didn't use an actual rock crushing machine that keeps sizing consistent. They use gravel to add weight (see pics) and lie about the dimensions of rock you actually receive. The owner threatened to sue my 75 year old father because he rejected the load and stopped payment. The owner even mailed threatening documents AFTER he was given orders to remove the rock off the property. I wonder why the owner didn't take the rock back? Makes you wonder right? I'm sure the subconscious mind knows the truth. This is how this business operates ladies and gentlemen. Ethics is not based on what you're legally allowed to do but what is morally right to do. Avoid at all costs. ***UPDATE**** 6/24/2025 In response to the owner; if the owner of Sierra Rock claims he delivered 18 minus rock that is "12-18 inches" then why did he physically refuse to pick up the rock when asked? (pictures, a tape measure and the human eyes clearly show the owner is full of sh-t) If the rock is really 12-18 inches, then you can easily pick it up right? (I did) The owner got flustered when he was told to pick the rock up because he knew it was too big and not what was ordered. The owner dashed to his truck and drove off after being called out for delivering gravel and using it as added weight that we got charged for. (Thats the actions of somebody that knows they've been caught) The truck driver also realized after getting to the property the rock was also wrong and not what was ordered. (thats a separate issue) If you actually read the other 1 star reviews, ALL the complaints are the same. The owner will drive to your property, has an attitude, he's cocky and doubles down, plays the denial game and won't accept responsibility for anything. Another $1,200 had to be shelled out to get an excavator to move all the rock because it was too big and wrong. There was no resolution by the owner. Complete fabricated LIE! The owner was warned the order was wrong and was told multiple times for over 3-4 days to come pick up the rock in which we were blown off, ONLY THEN stop payment was put on by the bank. I have ordered over 126 TONS of rip rap 18 minus rock on my property and the owner STILL continues to BS and lie to save face publicly. If the owner wants to rectify the situation then he should give us a $2,500 check back but of course he won't because he has zero integrity. ZERO!!! Karma has no menu, it will be served to those who deserve it.

It's a working operation with blasting and heavy equipment operating so be prepared for a safety lesson before pulling your trailer down for a load.
