UPDATE 9/27- Since my email reading I had the opportunity to see Thomas in person. With out question thomas is 100% the real deal. We were in a small group about 30. When reading people in the crowd he gave specific details from spelling out unique names with Q's and r's in the name. Someone in the crowd got a tattoo the week prior and described it in detail. He even gave details about how someone passed away, that gave me goosebumps. My personal feedback- yes I enjoyed my self and 100% back Thomas. My only constructive feedback to him is I think there needs to be a delineation between VIP and general admission. I completely understand he reads who ever decides to come through but I think he should make it a point to give a reading to VIP's even if that means increasing the price I.e $100. My personal experience I did not get a reading and looking around the room I felt like I was the only one who didn't and I sat in the front row right in front of him. Personally I would've just bought general admission if the only thing guaranteed was a book. But still he's 100% legit and I'd go to another event. I consider my self a skeptic and a fan-I don't do ambiguity or generalizations. I did the two email questions about me possibly getting married ( I mentioned my late grandparents may have a hand in this I think) and I asked about my career and being lost- that's it. He got into specifics and even brought up a very specific instance no one could ever know, I almost forgot about. This piece of info played a major part in a family members grief and depression and Thomas bringing this up unsolicited caught me off guard- but it was very helpful. He brought up specific names that aren't on social media because these family members aren't on any type of social media for him to look up. The career part is interesting- he got one thing specifically right even a personality trait I'm known for. There are some things he said I want to dig into see where they lead. I want to be clear- I made all my social media either private or undiscoverable, I have a common name even if he tried to look up he couldn't get as specific as he was. He is someone I want to speak to in person I can only imagine what he would say in person if he was right on in email read more

I have had several readings with Thomas. His readings are pretty good actually. I am giving him 3 star is mostly for his inefficient staff. Last year I paid for a 30 min phone reading. They rescheduled it once and then the day of the reading Thomas was a no show. Tracy told me she doesn't know what happened cause he is not responding to the text. Since then its been months they will respond to all my emails except when I ask if they will refund me the money or reschedule, they ignore my email. Paypal will not allow dispute since its over six months (I had to wait to be scheduled for the reading). Also, another time they gave me wrong hotel address to meet Thomas. So I was waiting at the wrong address. Then another time I bought online recorded class, they sent me some unlabeled random files that were also missing sessions. Like I said its been over couple of years I have booked several sessions with him and that has been my experience with is staff. As far as his reading goes I think he has a gift. I know some people think that he googles peoples name for info but all my relatives lived and died in south east Asia so he could not have known the details. Not saying their claim is invalid but my reading (at least one of them) were pretty solid. read more

I had a zoom meeting last Saturday with Thomas John and it was amazing how accurate he was. He touched on things that only immediate family would know. He had done a reading via email a few years ago and he nailed it then as well. It was wonderful connecting with my mother, father and receiving a message of forgiveness from my maternal grandmother. Thomas John has a rare and real talent, but more than that, he was such a lovely and kind soul. I would recommend him to anyone. read more

First, I have to say that Thomas is nothing short of amazing. His gift is incredible and I'm glad that he is sharing it with the world. However while my wife and I completely understand that Thomas has no control over which spirits come through, last night in Seattle the first couple readings took about 30 minutes each. This was a 2 hour show with about 200 people who were hoping to hear from loved ones. Because of the long readings less than a dozen total readings were done. This was a huge disappointment especially considering we paid extra for VIP seating. I can't say I would not attend another event like this but I certainly wouldn't waste my money on VIP. It would have been better to get regular tickets and buy a book. read more

TJ had to cancel my initial zoom appointment that I had booked several months ago, and we finally settled on a time nearly 4 weeks later. I began explaining that this was my first session ever with a medium / psychic. He asked how I heard of him and after I said that a friend recommended him who had had a reading with him, he ungratefully replied 'I talk to a lot of people'. He was condescending and rude, and after 5 minutes, he abruptly ended the session blaming me that I was too anxious and he wan't finding a connection. He refunded me right away. But I wouldn't waste your time. Pretty embarrassing for the friend who had recommended him. read more

This was the fifth time I was rescheduled for a reading which was purchased at the end of 2021. He may be good but getting him to actually do a reading is a miracle. Now I'll try to get a refund but I'm doubtful since his working habits and office support are lacking read more

Someone needs to stop this con man from scamming all of the people that he has. He's done to me exactly what he's done to so many here. Taken our $$$ and never following through on his time that he's been paid for for doing our readings. Isn't it ironic that he & his staff have probably wasted far more time evading his paying customers than just doing what he's been paid to do?! Eventually, his bait & switch or ripping people off or scamming or whatever you want to call it will catch up to him. Hopefully sooner rather than later. I plan to do my part to reach as many future customers of his as possible. What a worm. read more

Would give no stars if possible.. He is a crook.. and a con. Took money and cancelled several times finally threatened to sue he sent a check that bounced. Same happened to a friend and she finally got a reading with him after also threatening him for money back. The reading was a joke. Basically he only communicated everything he saw on google and her social media. He has no gift and after researching him he's obviously done this many times and has a long history of taking advantage of people.. He was never authenticated by the Forever Family or the Windbridge Institute that blind tests mediums.. Don't waste your money on him. read more

WOW! Thomas is amazing. He knew details about the relationship between my dead mother and her dead grandfather that nobody else would have ever known! They both passed long before the internet and the details he shared are not searchable online. I share this because my uncle is a skeptic and he was blown away when I sent him the video of Thomas channeling my mother at a group event. Without knowing my name or the names of people in my life he was SPOT ON with names, dates, details of my parents divorce, my father's private life, a tattoo I have to honor my mother and so much more! In another reading he mentioned the name of my high school boyfriend who killed himself and other deceased friends and family who were with him on the other side. AGAIN - these people were never on facebook and passed before anything could be published. Thomas is legit, he's an angel on earth and I've seen first hand him read strangers in a room and know things only spirit would be telling him. He's also an amazing teacher. After being so impressed with his readings I took a couple of his online classes and his techniques for mediumship work beautifully for everyone who practices. He is worth the price and worth the wait! I will forever be grateful for the time we've shared and that I was able to receive messages from my mom through him. read more

Didn't think I'd be writing such a negative review but I just feel like I need to say this so other people don't have the same experience or at least know ahead of time what they're getting themselves into. I purchased one of Thomas's email readings that he frequently advertises. Purchased it on a Sunday. Was told in the email that he advertised them in that I'd get it by 9am the following day. I waited til midnight and then I emailed him asking when I'd receive mine. Thomas said he was completing mine that night. Tuesday comes. No reading. Wednesday afternoon I just ask if he has an idea of when I'd be getting mine. His response "Today." Then around midnight, still nothing so I email again asking because I'm obviously a bit irritated that it's almost three days late and I've paid. His response is "today unless you send me one more email." Listen. If you advertise that they'll be completed and sent to you by a certain day and we don't get it after almost three days and we've paid for it, we have every right to be annoyed and to keep reaching out because that's just plain rude and unprofessional. To say that I won't get a reading because I've reached out multiple times because YOU have not given me what I've paid for is just disrespectful. I sent another email explaining my frustrations the next morning and he responds saying that I'd get my reading that day. It has been almost a week and I never received my reading. God knows when I'll get it or what it'll even say because at this point I feel like I've just gotten my money taken away. I asked that if I was not going to receive my reading anytime soon that I get a refund. Instead he tells me I'm getting my reading that day which I did not. People pay money to get insight on topics that are very personal to them in hopes of receiving clarity or peace of mind and it's just really upsetting when it feels like we've been simply taken advantage of. read more

I highly recommend Thomas. My husband and I were fortunate to be present this past weekend in Orlando at the afterlife conference. Thomas did a gallery reading (400+ people) He started off by saying that a young lady had awakened him at 4 AM wanting to get a message to two people that were attending. I had no doubt it was our daughter, who had transitioned 2 years ago. She showed him a purple gown. Thomas proceeded to give evidence that no one else would know. Within 15 minutes he told me my grandmother's name, my uncle's name & details of my daughters life & her passing. My husband & I are so very grateful for this communication. I'm including A picture of the painting my artist/friend did for my daughter while she was on hospice. She is wearing a purple gown floating towards Heaven Thank you TJ for the work you do ! Thomas gives his time to a closed Facebook group called Parents Helping Parents Heal. He is very kind & patient. read more

Thomas John - Psychic Mediums Near Me

A shame. His team has terrible communication skills. They also are very poor at managing his schedule, otherwise he is just a fraud.

My daughter took her life at the age of eighteen years old. This is the worst pain you can imagine. I miss her very much. I have had a total of ten different readings--five with him and five with other mediums. Thomas is my favorite medium by far. Thomas always brings my daughter through. He is 100% accurate. One time I was at a spa with a friend talking about the possibility of suing my daughters doctor for negligence. I had a reading two days later. Thomas said, "Your daughter doesn't want you to sue her doctor." There is no way he could have known about that conversation. I never posted anything about suing anybody online. I am a very private person. Its taken me almost a year to write this review. I have gotten so much information from her. It is really touching. I highly recommend him. read more

I paid $300 4/10/2022 via Zelle as requested in exchange for a reading of 5 topics to be delivered to my email address by the end of day 4/11/2022. I sent more than 10 follow up emails requesting to receive the service I paid for in which was responded to with "Will do it ASAP" or "Will provide by end of weekend"; when I requested a refund I was told "I do not offer refunds"; which must be nice to get money but never have to provide the product/service paid for simply because "I do not offer refunds". To date I have still not received my reading after multiple emails. I am absolutely NOT interested in the reading any longer due to not having trust in someone who isn't able to keep their word and I feel is very unethical and a scammer. I have the paperwork filled out to file a small claim and will do so if this doesn't get the issue resolved. Only acceptable resolution at this time is a full refund of the $300 as good/services were not provided as promised within 30 hours and has now been 84 days. read more

Such a FRAUD! You will pay money to book with him and he will continuously reschedule you for years. I was warned by another friend after I purchased the readings already and no refunds..I really wonder if the positive reviews are even real. I believe the 1 star but hmm on the others that are more than this. Never seen any "professional" like this. read more

Does not care about the grief and stress of clients. Never returns emails with an honest, solid date to reschedule appointments for which clients wait over a year to receive. He schedules readings daily to take in more money to pay for his drag Queen shows while leaving current hurting clients waiting and rescheduling over and over with no answers. This guy is sick. Who would ever do this to someone that's grieving? Look him up on Better Business Bureau. It's a common occurrence. He will refund you if you complain enough and maybe not even then, you never know, but I would steer clear of this thief that robs Peter to pay Paul to support his lifestyle. Horrible person! Will update if my hubby gets our reading. read more

Total ripoff, the spirit circles. 400 bucks down the drain. Maybe 5 minutes or slightly more, and everything mentioned is in the obituary. He is not a nice guy, either -- kinda reamed one person out because she didn't answer fast enough or accurately or something. She was obviously grieving. Do not waste your money. I am a believer by the way - of some psychics, ones that I've had readings from that were so detailed and none of the info was online. read more

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS FRAUD OF A MEDIUM!!! It looks like Thomas John has been scamming people for quite some time as i'm not the only one going through this disaster of an experience. I bought a $111 "special" 15-minute phone reading back in September 2021. My time slot was rescheduled 3 times into 2022 and the day of the actual reading, I had a complete no-show from him. I immediately emailed and was offered a refund. Thomas John did he, "oh, i'm so sorry about the confusion" bullshit and blamed it all on bad and over worked assistants. The refund check that I was told was "on it's way" of course never came. My emails to him and his assistants have been ignored. I followed up with the BBB 2x who can't do much since Thomas John is actually ghosting them. DO NOT USE THIS FRAUD!!!!! read more

It was an email reading for $150 and the information given to me was clearly gleaned from my social media posts. The email took more than 2 weeks to be sent I had to follow up. For people going to events, your email address and credit card info show your names. A little research on you helps. Maybe it's different for a personal one on one medium reading. I would recommend Saba from Self Empowered Minds who does Turkish coffee reading. She's not a medium but her reading is so much worth the $140 for an hour. read more

My daughter, sister and I, bought 3 tickets for a small group reading ($275 per ticket). There were 10 people total. He walked in the room...didn't say hello or anything...and he immediately sat down and started talking. Let me just say...the ENTIRE hour that we were in the room, he didn't open his eyes once. He didn't make eye contact with any of us in the room. He also didn't give any messages...NONE. All he did was make vague comments about people who were possibly in our lives. His assistant did email my daughter days before the meeting to ask for the names of the people attending (hmm). When the hour was up, he said the session over...he got up...and he walked out. We all just sat there and looked at each other, thinking "are you kidding me?" There's no doubt that we threw away $825...never again. read more

Thomas John came to me in a gallery setting two years ago. He was spot on right out of the gate identifying 9 family members by name. Impressive skills. As good as it gets in this trade. I would recommend him for both gallery and private sessions. High ethics. read more

He emailed me after my original review and offered to do a private reading for me and a 2nd person that knew nothing of our encounter. I told him I was interested and I said I was still open minded at that point. He then said he didn't know how to make it work since we live in different states. Then I get one of his many marketing emails stating 90% of his readings are by phone and Skype (for the right price). Seriously? Look at the 2 links above and tread cautiously. This guy is most definitely a fraud. I am sad to find that out, because I really enjoyed watching Seatbelt Psychic, but as you will see in the article above, the participants are all actors. read more

BEWARE - THEIF / SCAM. I wish there was a ZERO star option. I was 100% believer watching the Lifetime show. 0% believer and very disappointed after attending a Thomas John event. My mom and I spent $500 per ticket for an event in Massachusetts (7 person spirit circle). ALL of the information relayed to my mom was mined from her social media or online available obituaries. I did not receive any "messages" since I don't have any relevant information online for his staff to research. Moreover, we were all told we could ask a question by email. I never heard back - no surprise!! Unbelievable how anyone would scam and deceive those grieving. read more

Terrible person and not trustworthy. Don't waste your money. Read all the reviews. He is a fake and constantly rescheduling. After rescheduling multiple times with me, he finally agreed to do the zoom reading. He knew from the multiple times his "admin" contacted me to say the reading had been rescheduled, what my name was. He also text me from his personal cell to reschedule a couple times; all with excuses, sometimes rescheduled twice on the same day. Came on call late; asked what my name was and my phone number. then proceeded to ask where that was. you could tell from the reading; which i recorded, he was trying to read from his computer screen about me. I had locked down my information online and just had 1 social media account up with very limited information on it. That's where he got his information. He made no sense in his reading and honestly looked strung out. Feeling like a fool for not doing my due diligence with this one. Totally duped and out $800 to boot. read more

I can now tell you all that they refunded my money after I threatened to post about their fraudulent operation. My husband and I went to see Thomas John at Cleopatras Barge in Caesars Palace here in Las Vegas. The atmosphere was perfect for such an event, intimate seating, low lighting and calming music. Thomas John has a calming presence and had several relatives come through for those attending the show including ours. The things he knew proved our relatives were there and the same happened for others. It seemed that the ones who needed it most had relatives come through. We would highly recommend seeing Thomas John however you can and hopefully your deceased relatives visit you through him as well. A wonderful experience! read more

I've been to a couple of Thomas John's group circles and I have no issues with them. In fact I found it quite fascinating. It motivated me to buy a 15 minute telephone reading back in November 2016. They gave me a date 3 months out, which was fine with me. The problem was they kept delaying and delaying at least 3 times so that the original reading was to be given more than a year AFTER I paid me fee of 75.00. Now 75.00 might not sound like a lot of money to some but to others it is hard working money that I don't like to spend foolishly. Well I was fooled. I never got my reading and he got my 75.00. Not good... after watching him on TV, I thought I'd participate in one of his group sessions before considering a 1 on 1... thank God I did that... having been to several mediums in the past, so I had some expectations, not for me only to have a reading, but to see what came through for others. His "accuracy" which is what he touts even on his website, was anything but on the group session. There were generic bits of information shared but to say I was underwhelmed would be an understatement. As I was watching and becoming increasingly frustrated by the whole experience, I googled his name, something I should have done before booking but that told me all I needed to know... I hung up on the session and unsubscribed from his and the other medium who was sharing the session with him (Cheryl)... both were disappointing at best and neither I believed had the ability they said they did. Interestingly he doesn't use his last name on the show by or with his public persona ....wonder why? I'll bet it's the history of fraud that he admitted to... do your homework before giving this guy a penny. read more

After finally sending a very blunt email about the fact that I would file fraud charges with my bank etc if I didn't receive my services or money back and saying basically what I said in this review Thomas called my cell phone. It's funny how he had time to call me personally at the drop of a hat for a bad review but can't honor his scheduled appointments. He basically chastised me saying " by the time I pay my assistant etc I don't even make any money on $200 readings I just do it as a courtesy." Trying to deflect responsibility and make me feel bad that I was upset. I don't believe that at all. His assistant is his mother and I guarantee she doesn't make $200/hr. He told me that I owed him an apology and asked me to change my yelp review. I'm sorry , I owe YOU an apology? Where is your apology for how many times you reschedule and waste your clients time and emotional energy putting them through the emotional rollercoaster of preparing yourself for a reading just to be disappointed last-minute time and time again. I was offered a group reading as a consolation, however, in true fashion that's already been rescheduled twice, "internet issues" both times. This time the excuse was the Hurricane in florida causing him to not have internet, but he lives in New York. So. Imagine living in a world where we KNEW ahead of time what the weather was going to do? OR being a psychic and knowing what was going to happen? Wouldn't that be something? You don't even get the courtesy of a reschedule with advanced notice it's always at the very last minute leaving you no options to even change your plans. The real kicker is that yesterday I received a promotional email for a reading spot available today?! WOW! But he doesnt have interenet due to the hurricane so how is that gonna work? It's not. You will pay for your reading all excited thinking wow tomorrow! Then you'll get canceled last minute. If he can add on last minute readings today, he can do his group event tomorrow. You can only cry wolf so long. I'm not going to edit my review because I believe people should know what to expect nor will I be pressured into changing it to reflect an experience that I didn't have. I won't be purchasing any more readings from Thomas unfortunately. There are many wonderful psychics out there who probably honor their clients better. Just for reference, I went back and noted the dates and how many times just ****one reading**** was rescheduled, and every single one I have purchased has always gone through the exact same endless rescheduling. I'm over it. My time is just as valuable. This is CONSISTENT BEHAVIOR. Every single reading I have ever had has gone through this. I have reason to believe that Thomas John is just very good at memorizing search engine results. Firstly, before you can even book your appointment, they make you pay with Paypal, and that way they find out your full name. One of the things he mentioned to me was the date April 4th. My mother was born in India and a flood washed away the birth records. When my parents came to America, they both had legal birthdays assigned which are not their real birthdays. Had he mentioned my mom's real birthday, I may have been impressed, but he mentioned April 4th, my mom's legal birthday, which can be found on the internet and has no meaning to me. I waited until April 4th to see if maybe something significant would happen. Nothing did. He mentioned my being a vegetarian and something about a big, white dog. If you google me, the first two things to come up are a Youtube video I made about being a vegetarian, and a video of a big, white dog that my husband made. He mentioned that my sister would meet someone special in July. I did not tell her anything about this because I wanted to see if it would happen. It did not. He mentioned many general things. He talked at length about my husband's family and barely mentioned mine. Considering that my husband's sister and cousin go to him repeatedly, I am inclined to think that he was just mentioning that stuff because he'd already spoken with them many times and knows about them. Maybe he has the gift and he's the real deal and only Googles people sometimes. I don't know. But I would advise anyone who goes to him to approach him with a critical eye. Have someone else pay for your appointment with their Paypal and then show up, so that way he won't know who you are. I do believe that there are people who can do this, but, from my experience, I'm really not convinced that he is one of them. read more

I just uncovered a reading I had last spring. I knew at the time the reading was going nowhere and nothing was resonating but I stuck it out anyway. Listening to it now... wow what a joke. Not only did nothing come true he picked up nothing about my life that would even make me think he knew what he was talking about. He said nothing about my at the time boyfriend who had major emotional issues (how did he not see that?) However he started talking about someone else ethnic who I would meet in the fall and we would have a big wedding (I hate big weddings, I was still with BF, and I'm more of an opposites attract girl so "ethnic" has never been my thing so no I never met this guy!) that I would get a book deal (still waiting!) and I would be moving (nope didn't happen). I also notice that a lot of the other positive reviews offer nothing specific which is pretty fishy if you ask me. Read reviews of other psychics and you'll see way more specifics. The only thing he got correct was that there are a lot of doctors in my family. Luckily this reading was for a promotional event and I didn't have to pay for it. Thank goodness or my bank account would have been very upset. read more

This guy is a fake, folks. I had a reading from him, and he started talking about my aunt, who had just died. I caught on when he said that my aunt's husband was coming through, and called him by his first name, which he hated, and would never use. I thought it was strange, so after the reading I googled my name, and the first thing that came up was my aunt's obituary. EVERYTHING that Thomas John said was in that obituary - and not a detail more. And of course, my aunt's husband was named with his legal name, not the name he actually used. It was more than obvious that he, or someone who worked with him, had fed him this information. Then I started looking Thomas John up, and read that he was arrested in New York for collecting rent deposits for apartments that didn't exist. Then he hired a company to "clean his name up" (which is why he was Thomas John and not Thomas Flanagan), and the company sued him for non-payment. This guy is a con-artist ! read more

I've waited a bit to write this. I wasn't sure I could come up with the correct words to really leave an effective review that didn't sound like the rest. I hadn't heard of Thomas John prior to seeing a commercial for Seatbelt Psychic. After watching one show I followed him on social media. I'm not a skeptic so he didn't have much to prove to me except that he was for real. I always ask for signs. I went to a large group event close to home and it was interesting and fun for those who got read. Thomas was funny and engaging and apparently accurate according to those that were read (and those that got read clearly needed messages more than I did so I'm not complaining at all) But I wanted more. Before I booked for a small group reading I was debating whether to spend the money, going back and forth. I can't remember where I read it or heard it but Thomas' dad has passed away and he basically worded how I feel about my mom but no one ever "got" what I meant when I would say it. My mom isn't dead but we aren't speaking. People ask what happens if she dies and if I can handle that happening without a reconciliation. I basically have said that I won't mourn my mom actually dying but I will cry and mourn the mother I didn't get to have. He somehow worded that (of course i can't find where I read it or maybe I heard it. No idea. Hopefully I didn't just dream it lol) Anyway that was my sign. One of my good friends was very ill around this time and the timing wasn't great but I decided to book a spot for a small group reading on Aug 30. I remember the date because my friend happened to pass 4 days earlier on Aug 26. The group was small and a lot of times I thought a message could have been for me the lady next to me suddenly had a Niece's cousin's cleaning lady with that name. It was humorous and likely exhausting for Thomas but he delivered and handled the ... superfan... I wasn't expecting a message from my friend, assuming she's busy getting used to being dead and all... but he hit right on her death and provided info that wasn't readily available to pretty much anyone except me and in the process gave me some closure to the death of one of my dogs as well. I left happy I had the experience and grateful for the messages. I told a good friend and she wanted to go to a group so we booked another. This was a way better group and location and leads to my 5 star review. Thomas gave my friend a lot of closure and messages from her family. He knew they were not from the USA but was able to confirm their names (which were not anything I'd ever heard of!) and nicknames regardless. Information about situations never on social media of any kind. I already knew he was for real but it's always nice to be amazed and solid in my opinion. He gave he such a wonderful gift to her with these messages. Also, we were able to connect with our friend and once again he was able to confirm something we suspected but never publicly spoke about. She was sending us dragonflies. We received amazing information that I'd rather keep to myself than share with the free world. But it was perfect. I don't know what answers I'm looking for exactly but I feel a little more complete after these readings and I feel very grateful that Thomas graciously shares his gift with people. Being in groups of people who are really desperately looking for closure has put my own needs in perspective as well and has given me a little more empathy for strangers. I think when you experience raw sorrow and joy at the exact same time which is pretty much the way people seem to react to messages from deceased loved ones (in my opinion) you gain a little more understanding you may not have received otherwise. I think when the world is trying to bury you alive it's useful to experience a group like this to give you a little distance from people who don't get it and a little empathy from strangers who are looking for the same relief you are. Now go book a reading or an event. You won't regret it!! read more
