I paid for my 350$ reading in march 2015. I have been rescheduled 7 times! He gives no refunds so his secretary just keeps rescheduling me for another 4 months at a time not even asking what day/time is good for me. I think his popularity has gone to his head. Next photo on facebook is entire family, cousins etc all wearing same T-shirts with the year on it. Naturally he said I see your whole family outdoors wearing special shirts. The kicker is he went on to say who is Dorothy Florence. I got home and googled MY LAST NAME and someone (no relation) on other side of the USA died, same last name but no relation. Bad google search for him on that. Anyway, I made the mistake of giving my last name. I did probably at the time being distraught but also felt he is so highly recognized and touted on your site he was legit. He is not, I now see plenty of same instances on line. People claiming he researched them. Only gave info on side of family name he knew, the mans. It cost me $400.00. I do not care about the money but I do care about people taking advantage of those grieving. I do not know if you get paid to list people on your tested list but this guy was a joke. I have never had very good readings from psychics or mediums before, at least they were not very accurate in my opinion. I did a lot of research on psychic mediums before deciding on Thomas John. I scheduled my appointment in Jan and he already had a 6 month waiting list so I waited patiently for my appointment. Unfortunately, my appointment was cancelled and re-scheduled 4 times by his assistants (yes, I was getting a bit perturbed) before I finally received my reading from Thomas John. However, I must say the wait was definitely worth it! Thomas John was amazingly accurate with the messages coming from family members who have passed. He gave me time frames when they passed, how they passed, what they looked like when they were still living. He also described their personalities accurately. He named off names of family members who were still living accurately (and I don't just mean names starting with letter "J"). He named exact names of both living and deceased family members in his reading. I cannot tell you how much comfort his reading has provided me knowing that my loved ones are safe and happy on the other side and that they are just as much a part of my life now as they were before. If you're a skeptic like I was with most psychics and mediums, you really should give Thomas John a chance. Scammer! Beware! I purchased an email reading Jan 2021 that stated a 7-10 day turnaround time. A month and a half later I finally got a response back with information anyone could find on Facebook. My mother also purchased an email reading a couple months ago and never got the reading nor got her money back, despite multiple emails. She finally had to file a complaint with the BBB. Read the complaints on BBB and you'll see a very clear pattern with this guy! (Thomas John Celebrity Medium NY) Not only does he have a criminal history of scamming people in various ways but is continuing to do so by selling very expensive readings then not following thru. Many complaints stated they were rescheduled multiple times and being pushed back months to years. There seems to be no communication coming from him when you have a problem or don't receive the service you paid for. My mother just experienced this so we know it's a fact. I have seen Thomas John 4 times now. The first time I was late. I sat at the very top of the venue. There is no way he could know who I was. He pointed to my area and said something like. I used to be very skeptical of psychics and mediums. Until I had a one-on-one appointment with John Edward about 12 years ago when he brought through my deceased mother loud and clear. I had my first reading with Thomas one year ago- it was my first reading with any medium and I was the ultimate skeptic. I called to make an appointment from a pay phone, used a fake name (although I have had several different names in my life), and paid in cash directly to Thomas after the session was finished. I can see where anyone could be skeptical, but that is a function of our inability to believe, as I can assure you the things that came up in our reading can and is not documented anywhere without having perhaps access to a CIA dossier. Intimate moments came through, with full names of people, and people whom I did not ever know but were in laws of my wife (which he could not have known since I used a fake name and no phone number). If he is fooling us all, he is the greatest magician that I have ever seen. I originally left a 1 star yelp review for TJ but I'm changing it and I'll tell you why. I had a reading with him back in July at a spirit circle and I thought that my experience was questionable because the majority of it was what I had written in my dad's obituary. Initially I just thought how detailed my reading was and that's how my dad chose to come through but it was also really hard for me to get over the fact that most of my reading was things that could easily be found on the internet in his obituary. So after I left the 1 star review TJ contacted me and we talked about why. I truthfully am torn about what to believe. I certainly do not want to leave a bad review that could potentially hurt someone who is legit but I'm also not convinced that I wasn't deceived. So in conclusion I will leave TJ a 3 star review. As someone who has been read many many times before by the best mediums in and out of the country I can say with 100 assurance that I have NEVER encountered anyone in my life like Thomas John and I would like to say thank you to him. Going back to my first reading ever with Thomas John, when he entered the room I had not turned my recorder on yet and he started by saying he had a man with him that had been with him from the day before and his name was Phil. Well, I jumped up and said here and told the girls to turn the recorders on. It was shocking everything from beginning to the end was 100 percent right, I think we all were mesmerized by his accuracy. Needless to say I have been to many Thomas John events since then and also went to an event with only 8 people which was incredible. I scheduled a reading with Thomas John back in February of 2020, with an 11 month wait and a booked appointment for January of 2021. When my appointment finally came around, I was contacted by Thomas' assistant the day before my scheduled time and was told Thomas needed to moved me to February. Then a few days before my February appointment, I was contacted yet again and was told I need to be moved to April. Then in April the same thing happened, I was moved to May. Then in May? You guessed it, contacted again and was moved to September. At that point, in May, after waiting a year and a half for my reading and Thomas continuing to kick the can down the road, I asked for a refund, which he said he would mail to me. That night at the event I was originally excited to hear my family members' names. He "read" me for a bit and moved on, then circled back to me later in the event to top it off with one more tidbit of info. On the drive home with my family, we realized Tom took my words verbatim from my last Facebook post. I mean exactly what was written and who it was written to and about. I posted my review on Yelp and removed my name from his website with an explanation as to why I was removing it as well. About 20-30 minutes after I did that, TJ contacted me via email. He asked if he could speak with me, so I gave him my number. He called me immediately and asked why I was not happy with his reading of me. I told him that he literally took word for word what I posted on my FB timeline the previous day. He denied ever doing that to anyone. Tom tried to convince me he hadn't done so and hoped I would reconsider my review. A day or so later I got an email from him telling me more "insight" into my family. I did not want to continue this dialogue with him any longer. About a week later I deleted my review to drop the subject. I emailed him to say I deleted the review but I had doubts (putting it mildly!). He wrote back "perfect"! All he cared about is his review. He will explain away his arrest for scams in his youth. He went so far as telling me it's possible that one of my children could make that same "mistake" he did in his youth!!! WOW ! I went to see ThomasJohn Friday night in Lafayette, NJ in a group setting. OMG....was I in for a treat! Me and my Mom had VIP tickets and boy, I'm still in shock. He is 100% the real deal! What a DISAPPOINTMENT!. I had an appt which was scheduled and PAID for in FULL SIX (6) MONTH ago. They called me the day before to confirm. The day of the 'supposed' reading @ 4:45pm, NO ONE CALLED ME!. I waited almost 30 minutes before I called the office and received a call back @ 6:48pm. The woman, Donna stated that she did not know what happened but then sched another appt for the the following morning at 9:15am. So again, I canceled my plans and waited.... You would think that Thomas John would have done the right thing and offered a kind gesture to make up for the mishap but instead, he called @ 9:27am and stated that the appt was 9:15am...he was running late. First he takes your entire payment upfront when you make the appointment....which could be up to a year in the future. An honest medium does not take full payment that fair in advance. Then as my day and time got closer he changed it several times on me. Each time a different assistant contacted me. Rescheduling was a nightmare. During one of the many rescheduling phone calls, his assistant asked for my entire name and my address. What??? Then he does not record the reading for you....NOR will he allow you to record it. HUGE RED FLAG! Any medium worth their salt will record for you. And then, well, the reading was almost laughable...if it haven't cost me 300 dollars. It was like he was literally reading from my Facebook page. I mean ridiculous detail. Only a moron would believe that any medium would know that kind of exact detail. Do your research people. I had a reading over the phone and was in a trance as to what Mr. John said and my family coming through, although while he was right about a few things he seemed way off and as someone said to me "maybe he had an off day". I purchased a reading with Thomas John on October 2016. They have rescheduled my appointment approximately three times. At times, they never even called although I paid $400 for the reading. I emailed and called several times upset asking for my money back. Once, an assitant said the check was in the mail. Another time I received an email from Thomas John himself apologizing and advising not only would he refund my money, but he would have someone in his office send me the tracking number for my refund check. I had a psychic reading with Thomas John in December 2016. I can say that his reading was ok but that I was not blown away. I also had the feeling that he wanted to get me off the phone to go on to the next reading. I also waited a number of weeks for this reading. Since that time I was referred by a good friend to a psychic named Marlene of caribbean psychics. I did not have to wait very long for a reading and I can tell you that I received valuable information that has made my life much better. Many psychics focus on the future but many times we need help and change right now. I did not find this with Thomas John but I did get that with Marlene. I purchased my mother tickets to see Thomas John for her birthday. We went right before Christmas and the experience was absolutely amazing. The event was host in a very small but warm and welcoming church. It was packed and the energy in there was incredible. Although my family members and I did not receive a message, the experience was insane. I was captivated.. Had a reading done in a live event and was completely blown away ..after having my reading a friend and I booked two vip tickets to his event in ct..listening to audience members receive their readings jyst strengthened my belief that our loved ones truly are still around us every day ..I was blessed to have had my dog who passed suddenly come through and and put my mind at ease for the way he passed meeting Thomas after at the meet and greet was a wonderful experience. I attended a spirit circle reading that included myself and nine others and I was fairly underwhelmed. First off, the event was canceled and rescheduled before finally happening on the third scheduled date. Secondly, Thomas John's presentation gives the impression he has attention issues with little to no ability to complete a message as he often stops mid reading/sentence for one person and moves on to another. This happened to me not once, but twice during the group session. A person in the group that had done this before indicated Thomas John would take questions at the end, however, the reading ended abruptly and no one was offered to ask a question. So I basically paid $175 to hear three things I already knew about a deceased loved one's life and to have another dead relative state, through Thomas John, they had a message, then have Thomas John move on and not deliver it. I am very disappointed for having paid for a service and never received it. I paid $95 for a calendar in November 2017 and have yet to receive it. After repeated emails on the status, the response is always the same but nothing has materialized, NOT EVEN A REFUND. Ok so at the end of my first session with Thomas I asked "Would you like referrals?" He said "sure"....and I replied..."Ok...get ready for an avalanche!". I then sent out an email to a ton of people who I thought would appreciate his gift and benefit from a reading. All I said was "Trust me...don't walk...run and make your appointment TODAY!" Thomas is absolutely incredible. Knowing that I love meeting new psychics and mediums, a close friend who had already had a reading recommended that I see him. I first attended one of Thomas's Spirit Circles, which was a small group of about 10 people. Everyone got messages and mine were incredibly specific with information he couldn't have known. He occasionally does emailed questions and with my first batch (three weeks before I ran my first marathon) he predicted my time TO THE MINUTE. I then had a one-on-one reading with him which was mind-blowing. He came up with information there's no way he could have known -- such as my maternal grandmother's real first name. She went by her middle name her entire life, and her middle name is on her headstone. never been to a medium experience before and went to one of the shows at garcia's in port chester. it was a packed audience. he was able to pick up on a few people coming through and was able to connect with the audience members. some of it seemed real and sometimes i felt it was possibly planted. it dragged on and slow at times. paid for the meet and greet which was not very good imo. we were seated in another room and he proceeds to sign books just says "do you have any questions?" a few people rattled off questions and he didn't seem very interested or engaging with our group. he had a timer on his phone and basically ready to get out of there. maybe it was 20 minutes tops? it wasn't worth the time and money and wouldn't go again. read more

I went to Thomas John for a reading 8 months after my mother died. When my mom was dying, she could not really communicate any more. She was totally frustrated that she couldn't say her goodbye, so I promised her I would go to a medium after she died so she could finally tell me what she wanted to say on her death bed. Even though I am a total skeptic, I did some research and made my appointment with Thomas John to keep my promise. Since I used to be a researcher, I also made sure to google myself before going so I would know the specifics he could have just looked up...since I figured that's probably where he'd source his "information" from my "mom". Uh, Thomas immediately blew my mind. During the reading, he mentioned only a few things that I guess technically were able to be pulled from google...but 95% of what he told was bizarrely specific, and no one could or would know unless they were in the room with me when my mother died, or were one of my closest confidants. In fact, some of the stuff brought up were things no one knew but me. And the few things he brought up I didn't know the answer to, or didn't mean anything to me, were confirmed by my family members as completely true. I am a convert. It was an incredible experience.
