However, after an MRI with contrast was done. I was scheduled for immediate surgery. My labrum was nearly completely torn, my ball and socket crushed. What was supposed to be a 2-hour surgery, took nearly 5 hours to complete. I now have developed countless complications 5 years later based on the delay in care from this so-called Dr who doesn't even specialize in my area of care. I truly believe if the color of my skin was lighter, my treatment would have been better. Please, folks do your research before letting a "Dr" treat you! My appointment with Dr. Becker was rushed and the injury was misdiagnosed. He wasted my time taking an X-ray of my back which was NOT the problem. A few days later I called his office and pleaded to have him order an MRI and he refused. I went to another physician at LOG. I described the pain, and he ordered a MRI without hesitation. MRI shows a small tear in the region of the insertion of the gluteus minmus. I am now on the road to recovery NO thanks to Dr. Becker.
