If you are looking for an OB/GYN, keep looking. I have been a patient here for 13 years. I used to…read morethink how wonderful the practice was, and how the care was top notch. Dr. Jones delivered my first daughter, Dr. Conslato my second, and Dr. Jones and Eiser were with me when I lost my daughter at 20 weeks and delivered. Things have drastically changed within the last few years. It began as not being able to get appointments, rushed appointments, and lack of communication and compassion from the nurses answering messages and calls. I began feeling like a number rather than a person. A nurse in particular has been rude and dismissive on several occasions over the past few months when I was dealing with some health issues, one of those being a miscarriage. During this time, I was given wrong health information twice from both a doctor and nurse. I felt like and was treated as an annoyance by the same nurse. The doctor on call who I spoke to when I was miscarrying was cold and robotic. I didn't lose a tooth, this was my baby. I was struggling to understand my own medical information, and I continued to get the run around. I have struggled to move on from this practice because of the wonderful years prior to the steady decline I have been witnessing, but I just cannot continue to put my trust into a corporation who clearly places profits over people.

I usually see the Physician Assistant, Heather Coyne but at some point over the years I have seen…read moreall of them. In 13 years, I have never once thought of leaving and going somewhere else. When I first went there I was extremely sick with an autoimmune disease that had undiagnosed by my previous PCP for up to two years despite many visits to the office and ER. On my very first visit with Heather, she knew what I was dealing with and within an hour I was set up to see a specialist. Within a few days I was scheduled for the first part of my treatment and she has managed that as well as other things ever since. Not long after, my children and I were diagnosed with a rare connective tissue disorder that, especially then, was mostly unknown even to physicians. Heather was honest with me from the beginning that we were gonna have to learn our way together and I appreciated that so much. Anytime I learned something new, she's been open to hearing it. It's been a lot of trial and error, but I'm very fortunate in that I haven't had to do it alone because I've always had Heather. I say fortunate because I've met many people who can't say the same. I believe it's because she is humble and when you deal with incurable conditions, lifelong conditions, you'll learn quickly that humility is not an easy thing to find and you'll have to become your strongest advocate. But I know that Heather and PA Cole and Dr. Gold and PA Brandy, they'll have my back. So in my opinion, based on my experience, there is no better practice in this area. The staff is also very efficient and they will come to know you by name fairly quickly. I hope this helps someone

Staff is all around lousy, from the person I spoke to on the phone and front desk who couldn't seem to care less whether I wanted to be a patient there, to the nurse who took me back and didn't seem to care either- which made me wonder why she felt the need to come back in with the doctor and observe, other than she likes to make you feel awkward. The doctor only looked at me from the waist up, which I now know is insufficient for someone at risk or with a history of skin cancer- you should get a full body exam (not great for the self-conscious, but necessary). Anyway, if you're look for a good dermatology practice I would recommend one of the Dermatology of York locations (York, Hanover, Gettysburg, Mechanicsburg), I'm a regular there now and it's great.
