Back in the air - Thanks Dr St Onge!

Dr St Onge is a surgical Rock Star! I had decades old herniated discs since a childhood injury. One disc finally pushed into a nerve in my spine, effectively crippling me in pain. I am very active in adventure sports and this left me needing to use a walker and in excruciating pain. Dr St Onge did the surgery and the first week was very rough, to be honest. Every day since then I have gotten better and am 100% pain free, back in the gym and feeling STRONGER than ever. As a physician, Dr St Onge takes the time to listen and talk to you. He is an incredibly skilled surgeon and also a great person to have on your team.

However, after an MRI with contrast was done. I was scheduled for immediate surgery. My labrum was nearly completely torn, my ball and socket crushed. What was supposed to be a 2-hour surgery, took nearly 5 hours to complete. I now have developed countless complications 5 years later based on the delay in care from this so-called Dr who doesn't even specialize in my area of care. I truly believe if the color of my skin was lighter, my treatment would have been better. Please, folks do your research before letting a "Dr" treat you! God will hold this person personally accountable for how he handled my file. Ps. I have countless pieces of supporting evidence for my case.

My appointment with Dr. Becker was rushed and the injury was misdiagnosed. He wasted my time taking an X-ray of my back which was NOT the problem. A few days later I called his office and pleaded to have him order an MRI and he refused. I went to another physician at LOG. I described the pain, and he ordered a MRI without hesitation. MRI shows a small tear in the region of the insertion of the gluteus minmus. I am now on the road to recovery NO thanks to Dr. Becker.

I just called and cancelled a second time in a row. Part because I'm dealing with my autoimmune flare ups and not feeling well enough but mostly because I do not want my personal issue broadcasted to other people. I would like a different therapist at a different location who can respect my need for privacy and not humiliate me in front of people in the waiting room and talking loudly about my condition while we were in the room. Pretty sure people could still hear her. She talked about it very loudly during our conversation.

I went to this group for seeking therapy for vertigo (vestibular therapy). Had no clue that such a therapy even existed!! Luke Atkins was my therapist. He was extremely professional, pleasant, patient and caring. His initial evaluation of my condition was meticulous. He explained each process to me in a simple and in a rationale manner. As a result, I was able to comprehend why certain things were done. I am currently a very happy person, symptomless and well versed in how to deal with my vertigo if it returns. Therapists with vestibular expertise are not common. I would recommend Luke without any reservations!! Thank you Luke, for making a difference in my life.

The Dr and Anesthesiologist were great at explaining everything and laying out all options. They were friendly and kind to the doula as well! We gave them a birth plan and they followed it completely. We had another nurse in couplet care named Binika who was outstanding and stayed 30 minutes past her shift due to an emotional situation. She was outstanding as well. Overall, the visiting hours and down time hours were perfect. Gave us time to recover and try to get some rest. Lactation support was amazing. They were very helpful with my wife and she was very appreciative of the staff for assisting her with this. My wife and I are grateful for their services and the safe delivery of our baby. Would definitely recommend Women's and Babies Hospital! The food was okay, but the peanut butter pie was stellar! The day of birth meal for the mom is between crab cakes, steak or lobster. My wife said it was delicious and the best meal she had there! Dad's don't complain about it to your wife, but that couch is rough

I did not need an episiotomy and they kept on trying to get me to do it, the baby was not in distress the shoulders were not stuck and I did not want an episiotomy. I am going to stick with the womens place for any future births I have.I also wanted to add when they did the induction they inserted the needle so it sits in my arm painfully and because of that I could not sleep when they offered to reinsert it I agreed and the second time was just as painful. They wanted to run expensive tests on me and my child I refused.

I was not upset about that I was upset that the lady on the phone was disrespectful off the start of the call she instantly was getting sassy about the appointment. I simply told her I did not know if they took my insurance and I was going to ask her to see if they did before she rudely interrupted me and told me they are going to take me off the list. I told her before she hung up that I was not done talking and she asked me to repeat myself in which I told her that I will not repeat myself and I will be going elsewhere. It's really unfortunate that I won't be getting the care for my knee that I need. I really hope the staff takes more care into the people they are helping because this is unfortunate.
