His bed side manner is very good, he is gentle, kind and caring,and so are all of his staff.They can't do more to help you and are sensitive about peoples' overweight issues. They have chairs for over-sized patients to wait to be seen and the office is clean and roomy. Also they have some toys for the kids, to keep them busy.

The pharmacy notified me they couldn't fill the prescription till the physician (Dr. Wangsness) completed an authorization request. The pharmacy faxed it (more than 6 times over the weeks) as did my Insurance provider as the apathetic office staff informed me both their fax and back up jams up and it was my responsibility to get the form to them (Pharmacy and Insurer will not provide the form to patients). It got to the point I called the office to confirm either fax was on before starting the time consuming process of calling the pharmacy and insurer to be put on hold and transferred. I guess the office staff was tired or picking up the phone when I called and a second prescription was called in to replace the first. Trouble is, no directions for use were provided; the pharmacy attempted multiple calls and faxes to alter the physician and they received no response. So, weeks later, still no prescription and the ONLY way to get the prescription I need is to pay another $115 to go in the office and get a written prescription. I work in healthcare; this behavior is unacceptable. I can only hope staff involved are lucky enough to receive similar treatment for their healthcare needs; perhaps that might provide an iota of empathy for what their patients go through. If you are thinking of using this office, I strongly urge you to think again.

My foot problems are very painful and she makes it all better almost instantly. A dancer for nearly a decade in Las Vegas (in high heels), a RN for another 2 decades and now a server in Media at a very popular bar/restaurant, my "Yabba-Dabba-Doo" feet have taken a beating. I did see several different Drs for Narrow Angle Glaucoma, Endophthalmitis, Retina issues, Uveitis, Scleritis, RoP, Macular Degeneration, etc. I followed my last Retina Dr. to her new system. The wait time at all eye Drs is long. I have never had an extreme wait time. My sadness was the repeated turnover in Drs for my retina and uveitis conditions. The front desk in Springfield could use some customer service training.

It was exceedingly quick and non-eventful, and I didn't feel especially positive or negative afterward so I skipped leaving a review. Fast forward a couple years, and I develop a rash in my armpit and a cyst on my thigh all within a few weeks of one another. The rash was getting worse so I decided to make an appointment with a skin specialist. On the day I decided to do this, the office was closed, but I found you could schedule your own appointment via ZocDoc, which I did, for the very next day! The front desk staff were extremely nice, and the medical assistant who worked with me was even more kind. I'm kinda mad at myself that I forgot her name, but she was great. Ari Gordon was the PA who saw me, and he gave me answers/advice/prescriptions for all of my problems. While I was there I figured I'd also get a wart on my toe treated, which he did while doing his best to be supportive through the surprising amount of pain the cryotherapy caused. I have a follow-up scheduled with him in a few weeks and can now confidently say I had a good experience here and will be back! The whole process was very convenient and low-stress.

I have had horrible dental treatment in the past, and have actually been left in pain for years due to that treatment. But, I also have a medical condition that makes my teeth incredibly susceptible to caries. First visit, I went in as an emergent patient, with a dental abscess. The guy up front, he was horrible. I had to make a scene to finally get seen, due to his incompetence. I didn't feel that it bode well, and I was actually within seconds of walking out. But when I was finally taken back it was great. The dentist, Dr. Maria, actually listened to me. We put together a care plan. Today was my 6th visit, and I have to say, I'm impressed. From Gianna at the front desk, to Beth, the amazing hygienist, Sami (sp?) the dental assistant, and Dr. Maria herself, I feel welcomed and cared for. I should mention, the guy who gave that horrible treatment on day one? Gone. The oral surgeon that I had to see in visit two has the bedside manner of a rock (a dull rock at that).
