I received Unnecessary attitude from Dr Elia when I told him about the pain from him pressing on my…read moreknee, while also seemingly unable to read an X-Ray, needing me to point out things that were clearly labeled. Then the nurse told me they won't discuss my MRI over the phone, that I would need to drive another 40 minutes and pay another $140 copay just to tell me my results. When I asked why they can't just tell me on the phone (which is something even my cancer doctor does) she said "talk to your insurance" and scurried out of the room. I assumed my appt was over and left ‍ Overall an unpleasant, apathetic experience

DO NOT GO HERE PERIOD! My experience was extremely disappointing and has now led to a much bigger…read moremedical issue. I was treated at this office for about six months for foot pain. During that entire time, they never performed an X-ray or proper imaging. I was repeatedly told that I had plantar fasciitis ( and I thought I did ) and was treated for that diagnosis. After continuing to have severe pain, I sought another opinion. An X-ray was finally done, and it showed that I actually have a bone spur. Because the correct diagnosis was missed for so long, the condition has worsened and I now need surgery. Instead of identifying the root cause of the problem, my pain was simply masked with temporary treatments. If proper imaging had been done earlier, this could have been diagnosed and treated appropriately. as soon as the podiatrist touched my ankle and foot he said he could feel the problem lets take a xray to confirm he touched my foot and knew .... I would strongly encourage others to seek a provider who performs thorough evaluations and proper diagnostic testing before making a long-term diagnosis. i went monthly to this doctor office and never did they do any imagining. New doc did an image 5 minutes walking in front door and showed me the issues immediately and said this could have been avoided or at least not as painful and or bad... DO NOT GO HERE . Dr Monaco do better, get xrays and get patients help, don't mask issues. How could you not feel the issues the podiatrists immediately knew ...

Extremely POOR customer service…read more Find another facility. A miscommunication about the date on an appointment date for a 91-year-old woman... simply for a toenail cut. Unclear where the miscommunication happened... Regardless the woman at the front desk could not care less that this 91-year-old woman came out in the heat on a walker. Never even inquired as to what the need may have been, to try to fit her into the schedule today since she was present in the office. To do much in life is an effort for someone of that age. For a first impression... The customer service stinks at this location!!!

The billing staff of Springfield Podiatry is terrible and I believe grossly unfair. Yesterday, I…read morereceived a bill for $91.19, which amount I do owe them. However, the bill says that this amount is 61-90 days old and threatens "collections" if not paid by April 30. And as I said, I only received the first bill yesterday March 29. From time to time, we go on 4-, 5- and 6-week vacations. The fact that they could bill me while I am away on such a vacation and send my account to collections so quickly before I returned home from vacation concerns me greatly. "Aging Details" should be based on when I am first billed. I reported this billing concern before and nothing was done to correct their very unfriendly billing practices. I therefore give the business 2 stars out of 5. Their medical care is EXCELLENT but their billing practices are terrible. Hopefully, they will learn not to treat their established and long-time patients this way. Steve McEvoy

Horrible experience at this office. I was referred to this office by my regular dentist to have a…read morebroken tooth pulled. I gave them my insurance and employment information and was taken in back to have 1 additional X-Ray done. After the X-Ray they took me back to the front office where they proceeded to tell me that before they could extract the tooth they would need a $350 deposit up front, even though I had insurance. When I informed them that I did not have the money to pay them that day and to please bill my insurance and me they told me that they would not be able to perform the surgery. Now mind you, the tooth is broken, has a temporary filling that is cracking because my regular dentist had to drill down to where the root is exposed to determine if a crown would be an ideal fix for this tooth, and I am in pain. Also, with an open tooth, it is possible to get a heart infection if not taken care of promptly. All signs point to dental emergency, however, this surgeon looked at me and shrugged his shoulders proceeding to tell me that if I was in pain and wanted it fixed I would have more incentive to come up with the deposit money. The operating rooms were dirty and outdated and the staff, besides one young dental assistant who was very nice, were rude and uncaring. I cannot believe this office is still operating under these conditions and with this complete disregard for the health of their patients. If you value your health and safety I would strongly recommend NOT seeing this surgeon. Sincerely A Concerned Citizen
