Thankfully the staff are friendly but not pushy, you can go in to browse brochures without being harassed the way other travel agents do! As I said the staff are friendly and helpful. I've found them to be quite knowledgeable and full of extra bits of advice and it has always been straight forward dealing with them. Certainly better than a lot of the other travel agents in town.

Although not a tourist as such, I decided to have a wee duke inside Lisburn's Tourist Information…read moreto see what they were offering. A plethora of pamphlets, no lack of leaflets, bundles of brochures and an overall wealth of information on all six counties, toys, souvenirs, local books, Irish gifts (leprechauns and all that), linenware...and a wet floor. Yes, you heard correctly. A damp, slippery, sopping wet floor. It was actually more welcoming than the staff, greeting us as we first stepped through the door. As I dandered across the dampness, I apologised to the lady who was cleaning, and got a frank reply of "oh darn, I should've put that sign up". Eh, well, no problem...? After a nosey around a practical and effectual shop, with plenty to look at and buy, I noted that she had cordoned off a section near the way we had come in, and so a slight detour was required. Sorry for messing up your lovely clean floors lady.

Located in Bow Street Mall, this travel agent occupies a bright and spacious premises. There are a…read moregood number of desks to sit at which makes it one of the larger travel agents in town. I had been previously put off this place as I felt the staff were a little too pushy. You know, as soon as you walk in they're on your back. When I did use them though I found them to be friendly and helpful enough, though they do seem to push their own holidays over those by other operators which might influence the advice you get. One thing I was certainly not impressed with is that some evenings they have closed well before their advertised closing times. This cost them my business!

There used to be a sign by the back gate stating when it would be open that mysteriously…read moredisappeared, I'm not surprised though because the back gate is rarely open when it should be. We've been told that it should be open til around 3:00 on sunday and it never is, had one of the station tickets dudes moan about it having to be open so I assume it's his doing, so many trains have been missed because of this. Trains are also confusing, two trains will be on either side of platform two, one express and one all stops, but there's no indication which one.

The back entrance is closed on Sundays, the day where you have to wait an hour between the trains…read more This decision appears to be arbitrary and it infuriates me as getting to the other entrance far down the road greatly extends the journey.
