Open all year. Wheelchair access and Bureau de Change. Provides a first class information service…read morefor visitors to Northern Ireland and for local residents. Services at this office include free information on the local area - tourist attractions, accommodation, where to eat, events, free information on holidays throughout Northern Ireland and accommodation bookings for Ireland and the rest of the United Kingdom. I've been all over the place and its pretty hard to tell Tourist Info places apart and its particularly difficult to judge one in your own town but it does seem to tick all the boxes and the staff are friendly and knowlegdable. My girlfriend isn't from Bangor and she said that this place is a good start off point for the local area and to get a good grasp of what is going on locally.

Located in the pretty Tower House on Bangor's seafront, this Tourist Information Centre is…read moredefinitely one of the quaintest I've been in, and what it lacks in size, it makes up for in character. It's definitely the place to go to pick up a few leaflets on what's happening in Bangor, as well as the usual information on activities / places to visit / holidays around the rest of the province. My requirement was the latter, and so my sister and I popped in to see what we could find. Bank Holiday Monday was surprisingly quiet around these parts, so ironically the only 'tourists' in the place were myself and my sister. As soon as we got in through the door (with it's little dangly tune), we were greeted by a chirpy worker who asked us if we were ok or needed any help. I informed him we were fine, and satisfied with this answer, he went back to his seat and continued his conversation with his colleague (Bank Holiday Monday = easy pay, so it would seem). After a brief look around, I picked up a few leaflets on the North Down Museum, the North Down Coastal Path, events in the area, and that sort of thing. Content with my find, we left Mr Chirpy and the TIC, and went on our way. Four stars for little extra bit of customer service I've failed to find in any other Tourist Information Centre. I applaud thee Mr Chirpy.

As everyone in Northern Ireland knows, the standard of our football league isn't great to say the least, which leads to everyone ending up supporting an English team if they want to pursue quality ( or else one of two Scottish teams if they don't care about quality but they do love sectarian hatred!) Me and my big brother have been huge Man Utd supporters from the age of 4 years old, but untill a few years ago we had never been to see them because our Dad is amotor nut and hates football with a passion! That is when we decided to take things into our own hands! I have now been 4 different trips in the last year with Travel Solutions and they have improved their operations on the coachs immeasurably. The buses used to go via Dublin but now go straight from Belfast to Liverpool which saves a lot of time being cooped up! The trips are reasonably priced, for example for £159 my brother and I went to see the Champions League quarter final this year. The trip includes match ticket, all coach transfer, hotel for the night and free meal on re-entry to the hotel and breakfast in the morning. You could never get this kind of value yourself! Also all the tickets are season tickets, which means better seats and 10% off in the Superstore! On the occasion my girlfriend and I went to see Utd play Everton I was right at the corner flag, and got about 50 texts from my mates who seen me on TV abusing me for looking like I was taking a picture of John O Shea's arse! I would do it again any day!!! The bus guides are friendly and only to eager to help advice you, so if you are wanting a sports tour to Manchester, look no further than Travel solutions!

The guide, Bobby, was so friendly and helpful, he was very informative and open to questions. This is a very slick service, probably because they have been doing it for so many years. I wouldn't hesitate to use Travel Solutions again for another football trip.

I came across this company after my brother booked a 'lads' holiday to Santa Ponsa with them. He…read moreand his four other friends decided to go away after completing their University degrees (noticeably when I finished mine, I went to Tony Romas and had to work at the weekend). Thomson required them to pay their deposit in cash and it had to be paid directly to this branch. Living in Enniskillen this proved problematic for the boys, therefore I suggested that I'd bring up their money and pay it for them. My first impression of this branch was excellent as it was really well laid out and I didn't have long to wait to be seen at all. Whilst I was waiting though I took the opportunity to browse through their brochures and I was really surprised at how cheap some of their holidays were. The deals were what I was drawn to first and if you are looking for a holiday, they have some great deals. I was then called by a more than helpful lady. She immediately sorted the deposits out and gave me receipts for the boys. The boys said the holiday was fantastic and that Thomson were more than accommodating for them. I think I'll use this company next year when booking my Summer holiday.

Way hey! We found a gem here, a little shiny sparkler gem where things go just right…read more.. That was a very exuberant start to this review but still, the reason is this is where myself and my girlfriend found our trip to New York last February. We had been browsing through the multitude of holiday comparison sites for hotels and flight combinations. It seemed booking with Aer Lingus was the cheapest way to go, via Dublin airport. But alas, as prices soared closer to pay day it was looking less and less likely that we were going to be able to afford a trip away so soon. It took my girlfriend to walk past the store in Caste Court to find the bargain of the century, oddly leaving and returning on the exact dates we had planned. It included direct flights with Continental airlines from Belfast to Newark airport and three nights in a four star hotel just beside Central Park for....£410 each... a fantastic price if I must say., The whole thing went extremely smoothly, booked on the phone before calling down to collect a few documents. Highly recommend.

Nevertheless we went to a funfair the day after and I survived not throwing up... but only just... Thomas Cook do try to go the extra mile, arranging excursions and meetings, sorting out any difficulties and giving us a bit of information about the place we are staying and how to make the most of our journey. Sadly, every single rep that I have come across has been irritatingly smug and I would love to throw under a bus. I do like the way Thomas Cook try their best to give you a holiday experience, but sometimes they can throw themselves and their smug little faces into their job so much that they become almost patronising. Still, at least they make the effort. And for that I cannot really fault them. They aren't quite Brazil, but at least they are Thomas Cook.
