It's amazing that Dr Chacko was able to help us rule out any allergy after such a short window!

The health professionals are, to say the least, professional but personable. The exam rooms and the waiting room is immaculate! Parking is also super easy, you go into the lot, grab a ticket, and park. Once you're done with your appointment, you just put your ticket in the machine downstairs, and you'll get refunded the $2 that it takes to park there. Easy peasy.

I would avoid this practice at all costs, particularly if you are a patient with autoimmune and…read moremast cell issues. Dr. Hirsch is rather unfriendly and unsympathetic to patients with these kinds of issues. The biggest problem with this practice is that they have several office locations, but only certain providers work in each office. For example, Dr. Wiggins only works in Buckhead. Dr. Hirsch switches from Buckhead to Vinings but on certain days of the week (she's only in Vinings on Tuesdays). I started off seeing Dr. Wiggins in 2018 with major issues, including suspicion of mast cell disease and mixed connective tissue disease. When I had severe flare ups, I was treated by Dr. Hirsch because Dr. Wiggins was out of office. I had another flare up, and because Dr. Wiggins was out of office again, I was treated by Dr. Hirsch the second time. Thus, I have been treated by Dr. Hirsch more than Dr. Wiggins. I have several diseases, including, among others, myasthenia gravis and mast cell disease. I recently started a new medication that caused my mast cell disease to flare up. Because I am unable to drive, and because Dr. Hirsch last saw me this April, I tried to make an appointment to see her per my neurologist recommendation to help manage my mast cell diseases. SHE WOULD NOT SEE ME because it is the OFFICE POLICY to only be treated by the doctor you first saw. She also would NOT REFER ME TO THE DOCTOR SPECIALIST WHO ACTUALLY TREATS MAST CELL DISEASE because, again, it is against office policy to switch providers. In order to be seen at this practice, I would have to drive to Buckhead to see only Dr. Wiggins. I am unable to do that without having someone take me due to driving constraints. This practice clearly does not consider the best interest of the patient. It is ironic because, despite NOT being able to switch providers, once you are prescribed weekly/monthly shots, you are more than welcome to get them at a location convenient to you - of your choice. I hate leaving reviews like this, because I respect that doctors are busy and have their own constraints, but to me - this is a poor excuse not to treat someone who needs help. The medical help received when I saw Dr. Hirsch was fine - this anger is coming from her unwillingness to treat me due to an unreasonable office policy. In my situation, Dr. Wiggins does not treat mast cell disease either - so why send me to a location far from my house to receive the same treatment by a doctor I've seen far less than Dr. Hirsch. Huge disappointment. In my opinion, it was Dr. Hirsch's excuse not to treat a chronically ill patient who needs help.

However, last night he did have a more severe reaction, just before the 15 min observation period was over. Thanks to Danielle's (MA) THOROUGH education on signs/symptoms of anaphylaxis during our first visit, my son immediately recognized his symptoms, and notified me. Danielle *believed* him, then assessed him quickly and calmly. Within 1-2 minutes, his symptoms progressed, so she calmly notified other staff who arrived in seconds. Amanda, NP, Brandy, NP, and Jacob, NP were all extremely professional, calm, and thorough as they monitored and cared for my son. Three staff stayed with us for 2 hours until all of us (my son included) agreed that he was stable and safe to go home. Dr. Agrawal was in constant communication with his staff throughout the episode via phone (even though he was at an event for his new office) to ensure my son was improving, and to stay informed. He and Amanda also requested I update them later that night via cell phone to ensure my son was still all good. This was so comforting to my husband and I!! Again, I cannot stress enough how valuable the education on anaphylaxis was to my son and myself! Danielle explained the information in a simple, concise and easy-to-understand way that my son obviously remembered! He knew something was happening to his body because of that education, and he felt confident to speak up. Now if anything were to ever happen to him outside of that office (heaven forbid!!), he feels 100% confident he can handle it and knows he will make it through unscathed! That is so comforting to this Mama!! Danielle, Amanda, Brandy and Jacob--THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You all made such a difference in our lives last night! We will always come to you for all our allergy needs. Erin Schauer

I was able to get an appointment…read morepretty quickly, but as the Chacko team travels all over the city, there was some confusion about their office location when they were running late for their initial appointments after driving from another location in the city. Despite their late arrival, the wait time was still pretty short, and a nurse quickly chatted with me and kicked off my allergy scratch testing. Dr. Chacko read the tests himself, which he said he does with all his patients. His demeanor was different from any doctor that I'd ever met. He's obviously intelligent, confident, self-assured, and casual in his communication. He asked to use my cell phone and took a recording of my back while narrating, showing my allergy tests and reviewing his analysis of my results. I struggled a bit with my appointment because how he read my allergy results was completely different from my previous doctors. At my previous doctor's office, my doctor was mostly absent from the appointment and a nurse gave me a list of 30 food allergies that she recommended doing an elimination diet to determine if I should eat or not. Dr. Chacko essentially said, you don't have food allergies, ignore what the previous doctor said. Though I appreciated his directness and no-nonsense approach, it was simultaneously off-putting considering I've avoided dozens of foods for years based on two prior allergists' recommendations. I felt shocked and asked a couple questions, but to be honest, didn't feel heard in the moment. He gave me his card and said to feel free to email him directly at any time. However, if you're looking for a different approach to your allergies, Dr. Chacko may have the answer for you.

Having a good connection with your Physical is a plus. I take that perspective a bit further in acknowledging the patient care team who ultimately makes the Physical & the practice successful. Eyana (Business Manager), Brianna (RN) & Latisha (Front Desk) really worked well together ensuring the patients were cared for & in a timely manner. There's another location in Sandy Springs where they offer the same scope of services - care plans for nasal congestion, breathing issues, facial pain, sleep apnea & administers allergy/flu shots. Aside from the nonsurgical treatments the practice also performs minimally invasive surgeries for in-office for patient convenience. I took an updated allergy test & got some really good insight from Dr. McKean who interacts more conversational as opposed to medical textbook Q&A. My son has Graves Disease & I passed along Dr. McKean's information as I was well impressed with my care & treatment options.
