Went to Broken Bow for the second time. Honeymoon had to be rescheduled due to COVID 19. So decided to go somewhere really nice and not far from home. It rained and was cold the whole week so most outdoor activities weren't practical. So we decided to go to Thomahawks and was greeted by a young man working alone. Very humble young man who checked us (me and my wife) in then took us to the boards. Gave us a brief tutorial and let us go. We were the only ones there for most of our time there. They played light rock and had unlimited drinks free after price of admission which is like $20 a person for 45 min. We had a good time just getting out the cabin for a while. I'd say it was a average time but, we enjoyed ourselves. It was a stress reliever after months of wedding planning and ended up being kinda intimate date before dinner. read more

Found a Groupon for Thomahawk's so decided to give it a try. This was our first experience with axe throwing and we had a fantastic time! The staff was friendly and helped teach us how to throw the axes. We played a couple games of 21 while trying to perfect our axe throwing skills. Four of us went on a Saturday evening. This was three out of the four's first time ax throwing so we were clueless. The staff was extremely helpful and walked us through the process. They were extremely attentive and went overboard to help us scoring matches and answer any questions we may have had. Awesome first experience. We went while visiting in Broken Bow. It's new and fun. Great for something fun to do in Broken Bow especially on a rainy day. It is a small location so you may call ahead to see if they can get you in when you go. We went on a Monday in March thinking we could walk in and start, we had to come back at a later time since they were full. Was not a big deal at all and when we went back we were good to go, just know you may call or stop by to set up a time. read more

This place was ok. Expensive for having worn out targets and axes that kept falling apart. I have been to way better before with fresh targets and axes that was professional and for the same price. There really wasn't any good instructions like I have gotten at other places. Wouldn't allow any trick shots and the person watching over the place was a maybe 16 year old kid that I seen him try to throw when he was away from our group and he couldn't throw which is prob why he was giving help. It is ok if u want to kill a little time. But if u want some proper equipment and want good instructions I would advise going someyelse to do throwing. read more
