Finally, something for the kids to do in this sleepy little town…read more Paris has been trying so hard for years to become a tourist town. Strictly focused on small "boutiques", their own little miniature Eiffel Tower, and trying to capitalize on being "the gateway to Mount Magazine" has caused the powers that be to completely ignore the many, many, bored children who live within the borders of the sleepy, little town. Granted, it can be daunting starting a business in Paris. Many only last a couple years or less and if you're offering a niche service (a sushi truck, homemade candy, nutritional drinks, etc.) you'll fade out of the community's thoughts after just a few weeks. However, the owners of Daddio's have somehow seemed to buck the trend of being a one-off single serving establishment and I believe that is directly related to the way the owners run their business. As residents of the town they serve and parents themselves, the Keifer's have given the community a place to go for safe, family fun that I believe they'd genuinely want to spend time at themselves even if they weren't running the place. A small venue with classic arcade lighting and great background music, plenty of games for kids and adults of all ages, and a friendly staff make this a regular weekend addition my family's "to-do" list. One wall is lined front to back with classic pinball machines ranging from a variety of decades. Everything from The Who's cult classic "Tommy Pinball Wizard" to the latest "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" cabinet from 2020 with so much more in between. Any fan of the arcade classic will find something to flick their flippers. Pinball aside, the cozy little cabinet court offers a variety of quintessential quarter suckers that are sure to keep you and your kids entertained for hours. Classics like "Pac-Man" and "Donkey Kong" are nestled between an assortment of shoot'em ups, fast paced racers, and even the legendary Golden Tee. And if none of the that piques your interest there's even more to explore; air hockey, skee-ball, and a pool table also take up residence in Daddio's "something for everyone" cave of fun. They've got a Nintendo Switch connected to a big screen tv for friendly battles of Smash Bros. and Mario Kart, several consoles you can play directly from the snack bar, classic Duck Hunt on an old boob tube, and three cabinets each featuring literally thousands of games from every imaginable system available for your specific interest. Speaking of snack bar, Daddio's offerings hit the spot. Easy to make, easy to serve, and easy to eat...everything a dedicated gamer looks for when it comes to smashing the hunger bug without interrupting play. Hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, candy, and much more, each item on the menu ensures you can fill up for cheap and get back to busting bricks before your lives run out. Think about this, my kids can play for hours, have some snacks and pops, all for under ten bucks. The value for the money just cannot be beat. To sum it up, Daddio's is a fantastic addition to the community. Inclusive for all generations and legitimately appreciative of community support, Daddio's offers family fun and a nice escape from the humdrum repetitiveness of everyday life. In a town that suffers from the vain thinking that they're more than they're not, Daddio's is exactly as advertised and they see to it that every pinball patron has the best experience there is to offer.

I went to this establishment with my family out on a whim and had a very pleasant time here. While…read morethe outside exterior gives this mysterious vibe, once you walk in through those doors however you are in for a surprise. Not only do they have arcade games but they also have an escape room and laser tag as well which sold us all on getting their "Do It All" package allowing us to experience almost everything they had to offer. We were visiting from out of state and honestly the value here is very good for what you get in terms of deals. Their happy hour times are very generous and if I was a local I would likely stop by quite often. I do not recall the staff member who made a few of my drinks however she was very kind and was great at making us feel welcomed. She sold me on the signature Fish Bowl and it was an impressive drink to take on while playing some old school games. Of course the rest of the staff were very courteous as well, when we wanted to go through the list of activities like laser tag for example a staff member was ready to assist and help with any questions or concerns before we got started. I liked the fact that they would come to check in on us periodically to make sure if everything was going okay during our escape room attempt. The vibes all around are as vibrant as the pictures that I took, I would highly recommend coming here especially with a group of friends to chill and relax.

Mostly it was the wait time on the food. Over an hour wait! And everything kinda came out randomly…read moreover the next 30 minutes. Kids didn't like laser tag compared to Malys. All the food is good, gotta give them props on food. Except the fries. They didn't bring my coleslaw. And it ended up costing me over $300 for an afternoon with 6 people. Ouch. No thanks.
