I contacted Chef Mel, and the communication was great, and she was responsive to all of my questions and requests for the vision we had for our wedding cake. Chef Mel provided an opportunity to try 3 flavors of cake before making a decision on the flavor profile we wanted, and after doing so, we were delighted with moving forward with a 3-tier cake with the bottom tier as chocolate cake with hazelnut and pistachio filling, middle tier as lemon cake, and top tier as vanilla cake with mango jam. Prior to the wedding day, Chef Mel communicated with our wedding planner and the expectations on the arrival time since I was unavailable to receive the wedding cake. On the wedding day, Chef Mel delivered the wedding cake, and added white roses that were left on the table by the florist, and she did an incredible job making the wedding cake stunningly beautiful with the finishing touches. As for the taste, all 170 of the guests loved the wedding cake, and we couldn't have been happier and grateful for the work that Chef Mel and her team did with providing an unforgettable experience with a decadent, delicious wedding cake.
